“Yasmin was so incredibly great with my dog! I have a very hyper little dog and she was so patient and kind with him. She took him for long walks (even in this heatwave!) and made sure he had water after they were done. She also takes the cutest pictures that I have saved many to my phone. She even provides an update of how the walk went and what happened with her walking card which definitely going above and beyond. If you need a great dog walker I would highly recommend her because she is so amazing!”

“Good communication and sense of humor. Accommodated my dogs needs even if they didn’t fully align with the Rover plan. I booked a walk but my girl decided she didn’t want to and Leslie hung out with her in the yard and gave her cuddles and attention instead.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have had three of my own, which has helped me understand their different personalities, routines, and needs. I regularly take care of my cousin’s Husky and Shih Tzu when she’s busy, making sure they’re fed, exercised, and comfortable. I also care for my boyfriend’s cat at my home whenever he’s away, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, and giving lots of attention. In addition, I’ve been feeding a stray cat in my neighborhood and even set up a small outdoor shelter for her to keep her safe and warm. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy making sure they feel loved and cared for. 🐾 I have classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I’m free the rest of the week to hang out with furry friends and give them lots of love and attention. I'm available for in-home visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays,s and Saturdays all day. I'm also available for walks on those same days. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in my home or theirs. I keep their space clean, provide fresh food and water, and give plenty of attention and affection. I follow any instructions from the owner carefully, and I create a calm, secure environment so pets feel happy and relaxed while in my care.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for my whole life and take care of family and friends dogs when they go away. I’ve taken care of dogs of all different sizes from many different backgrounds. All of my dogs were adopted so I’m familiar with all types of dog personalities. My current dog (Heather) is a pit/lab mix who used to pull so I have experience with pullers and helping them become better walkers! I’m a college athlete and have school and practices Monday-Thursday, but after 4pm on those days I’ll be available to walk and care for pets. The rest of the days I’m available all day long. I take my own dog on long walks at point pinole and I often help out with my boyfriend’s pups with long walks around his neighborhood. I’m willing to take dogs to parks and I love spending quality time with all pets.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of patience, responsibility, and genuine love I bring to pet care. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and routine, making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also have experience caring for senior pets, giving them the extra attention they need, as well as working with puppies, helping with basic training and good habits. My goal is always to provide not just care, but companionship, so pets feel happy while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my daily routine because I make sure to feed, give water, and spend time with my pet every day. I also include short play sessions or walks to keep them active. On a weekly basis, I dedicate time to cleaning their space, grooming, and checking their overall health. Taking care of my pet is part of my responsibilities, and I enjoy making it a regular habit. In my home, I care for pets by providing them with a safe and comfortable environment, making sure they always have fresh food and water, and spending quality time with them through play and exercise. I also keep their area clean and give them attention and affection. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions to maintain the pet’s routine, such as feeding schedules, walks, and any special care they might need. I always make sure the pet feels comfortable and cared for, whether they are with me or in their own home.

He took him for walks and also spent time playing with him in our yard so that he wouldn’t be lonely while we were away and sent us the cutest pictures so we knew that our little fluffball was doing ok! Gabby did a great job with my dog, Murphy! Murphy’s a rescue chihuahua mix who takes awhile to warm up to new people. I know it was not easy, but Gabby got him out for two walks while I had to travel out of town for the day. I really appreciated Gabby’s patience with him and it was a relief to know he was in good hands.

We feel very lucky to have found Leslie! Our boy Bruno loves going on walks with her :) she’s very reliable, communicative, friendly, and able to accommodate our work schedules/ dog walking needs, which sometimes change from week to week. Great all around.

For my dog, Jonathan is a dog whisperer. He has been walking my 15 plus year old chi mix dog and my dog loves him. He's also very observant of my dog's behavior which, considering my dog's age, is very appreciated. My dog and I are happy we have been able to use Jonathan's services.
Lauri has really helped me out last minute when I needed someone to walk one of my two high-energy dogs. Maggie absolutely loved walking with her and was thrilled every time she saw Lauri. In addition to having a highly reliable, punctual dog walker, we also got to take advantage of Lauri's training background and made some great progress on Maggie's overall leash manners!

I really appreciated Xiao’s patience with my pup today. I have a rescue Chihuahua mix who does not warm up easily to new people. She got him out for two walks today while I had to travel out of town for work. It really put my mind at ease knowing Murphy was in good hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
