“Hui-Min is an excellent sitter! She was very kind and thoughtful. My dog immediately felt at ease with her and settled in quickly. She sent some nice updates and it was clear that he had a great day with her. I’d definitely recommend her as a sitter!”

“Yasmin was nothing short of amazing!!! We were visiting family in the area and needed to find a reliable day care for our 2 big and high energy dogs (92lb goldendoodle & 9 month old german shephard/mix) and Yasmin's place was perfect! She sent us frequent updates and photos/videos, took them on walks, played with them all day and even bought them some toys! We will definitely be booking with her again next time we're in the area! Thank you Yasmin!”

About: We know what it means to truly love a dog as family. We've cared for several dogs throughout our lives, including our beloved Maddie, who we supported through her senior years and heart failure - even taking her on daily walks in a dog stroller when she could no longer walk long distances. Currently, we spoil our special needs French Bulldog who is deaf, so we're very experienced with dogs who need extra attention and care. We treat every dog like our own, which means furniture and bed privileges (if you're okay with it!), multiple daily walks, hanging in our fenced backyard, medication administration, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Since we both work from home and have no kids, your dog gets constant human supervision - we know how much you worry when you're away, so we send lots of updates and photos to give you peace of mind. We only take one pet parent at a time (though you can have multiple dogs), so your pup gets our undivided attention and we can ensure a safe stay. Since my wife and I both work from home, dogs are never alone - there's almost always one of us around to keep them company. Our flexible schedule means we can easily handle walks, meals, rest, and playtime without gaps in supervision. It's perfect for dogs who need consistent attention and care throughout the day. We keep a clean, dog-friendly home with a secure fenced yard for safe play and potty breaks. Before any visit, we'll go over your dog's specific needs, routines, and any health considerations. I follow feeding instructions exactly and keep notes on how your pup is doing. We know how important pictures are when you're away and send them multiple times a day (or more) if requested.
“Michael is such an amazing dog care provider. He really tunes in to the needs of your dog and is very pleasant to work with. He was kind, accommodating and friendly with me and our dog. He sent great photos, and was very communicative about how the visit was going and afterwards. We will enjoy a visit w Michael and his cute dog soon! You can feel confident that Michael will take very good care of your doggy! Liza”

About: Animal lover, responsible, dedicated, and used to take care of animals. Used to be a dog owner for 10+ years from puppies to elderly dogs which allowed me to get more experience with any dog group. I want to be able to provide a safe, clean, and fun environment for your family pet. I am used to having to train pets and having to follow strict instructions to keep a pet happy and healthy. I am looking forward to taking walks, walking around parks, playing, and being active to keep pets happy. I believe in taking care of pets as if they were a part of my family because they are yours! That includes providing a home rather than a strange environment, meaning a friendly place where they can be themselves! I am looking forward to being able to help out you and your pet and meeting a new friend!

“Very Grateful! We were commuting to watch our son’s game, and our pet sitter canceled on us last minute. I contacted Leslie in the early morning and she promptly accepted. I can tell Rex had a great time with Leslie and family. They were very caring, professional and friendly.”

“Max always has a good time when staying with Gail. He's always in a good mood when he comes back home. Gail does not fail to update us with photos throughout the day. She's also very flexible especially with same day booking. She is now our go-to person for our cockapoo Max. Till next time!”

About: I have two wonderful dogs in my family Andy and Louis. They are everything to me. They are ready to welcome and make some new friends and would love to share their space with other fur babies. I am working part time from home taking care of my toddler and a fur baby named Andy. I am home all day and love taking my boy and Andy on a short walk around the neighborhood. We have quiet and friendly neighbors which is a plus. We have a fenced back yard ~800sq ft with some turfed space for the dogs to play. Like I mentioned I have another playful dog who will give a good company for your dogs as well.
“Radha was great as usual, we reached out in the morning for a same day daycare request and she responded right away. Our dog was so excited to see her and Jimmy. We got pictures and video all day that showed our dog having so much fun. Radha is so great and we'll be booking with her again.”

“My baby husky, Scale, was so excited when Asatur greeted her. Scale ran to Asatur and literally ignored me. I was a bit jealous but I'm so happy because I know that Asatur will take care of her. Thank you Asatur for bringing Scale to the beautiful places. I will recommend you to my relatives and friends. Scale will definitely be your frequent guest.”

“I have an anxious senior pup who hasn't spent much time apart from my partner and I since adopting him a few months ago (in large part due to his anxiety). I did a pre-meeting with Zoe to make sure it would be a good fit for the pup and then we completed the booking. While my pup still let me know later in the day he was mad I left him, when I picked him up he was happy and bouncing around, but also perfectly happy to go back and hang with her. I think this was the most positive experience possible for Rick and am hopeful the positive experience might help him towards being less anxious when we leave him in the future (every positive experience helps I hope!). I would and will definitely book again with her as long as she's available and accepts him again! Also to note, she was very flexible with our pick up time which I appreciated - I had mentioned I might be able to pick the dog up early, and then when I was able to I messaged her that day and picked him up 3 hours early to hopefully make it easier on Rick. That for sure saved me some time instead of needing to pick him up and hitting rush hour on my way home. She was also very helpful and provided feedback to me on Rick's behavior at my request so I have a good handle on how his anxiety and overall behavior is progressing as we try to work through it. Thanks again Zoe (and Partner!)! I really appreciate y'all.”

About: Pet is part of my family. I grew up in a family with pets all the time and have extensive experience taking care of dogs and cats! I am currently working remotely and have enough time to take care of all the pets! My house has a big backyard for dogs to run and play and enough space inside the house for them. The house has fenced backyard and I am mainly working remotely, so I am able to pay attention to the pets most of the time!
“We were worried about leaving our new puppy for the first time, but Alisha set up a Zoom so we could meet her the day before and it was immediately obvious that she would take great care of our little guy. Then, when we dropped him off, he practically jumped into her arms and made himself at home in the space she has set up which is perfect for doggy guests. She sent us updates and pics throughout the evening. We are very glad to have Alisha nearby for the future. I especially appreciate her depth of knowledge -- she is a great resource for those of us who have limited experience with raising puppies!”

About: My name is Rebecca. I am located in Richmond, California. I owned 2 labrador retrievers for 12 years and I treated them as if they were my babies. I grew up with them and I gave them the best care that I was able to give them. I made them homemade meals weekly, bathed them, walked them, and gave them their weekly medicine and vitamins. Unfortunately they passed away due to health problems but they will always be in my heart. I am super friendly, patient, loving, and playful with all dogs and I will take care of your dog as if it were my own. I love all dogs of any type or size. I owned a whippet/pitbull who is leash reactive and separation anxiety- so I am familiar and have experience with these issues. She passed in the end of October. I hope you can trust me with you dog. :) I would exercise your pet and take care of any other needs early in the morning, take them out again in the afternoon and/or evening depending on the dog’s energy levels. I care for pets very carefully and lovingly. Any dog in my care will get lots of exercise throughout the day- that is physical and mental exercise. They will also get a few different puzzles toys throughout the week to challenge their brain. I always make sure that they get lots of love and attention. I treat all dogs as if they were my own. I am a full time dog walker, trainer, and sitter. All my attention will go towards your pet. I spend my days with dogs 24/7. In the client’s home but I also have a daycare house where I can bring your pet if they get along with other dogs- if they don’t, we are able to isolate some dogs in different rooms but always take the time to spend quality time with all of them.
“Jacqueline is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her. She has watched Palmer multiple times and he absolutely loves her. I honestly think he likes her more than me. She is communicative, flexible, so kind and caring and treats Palmer as if he were her own. I feel so comfortable any time Palmer is with her and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Yukon is an amazing host! We couldn't have asked for anything more. She took great care of our Lady bug. Gave us timely updates with pictures after walks, meals, and poo breaks. Lady also enjoyed hanging out with her fellow schnauzers. I highly recommend their services and plan to be repeat clients!”

“Wenxin took wonderful care of Moscow! She kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, and it was clear that Moscow received lots of attention and outdoor time. If we ever need a sitter again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her!”

“I am so thankful I discovered you. Kyle, I could tell, really enjoyed himself. I sense you really cared for him. He loves playing with other dogs. He came back really tired, which let me know he had a ton of exercise being with other pets. Thank you so much.”

North Richmond dog parents share their Rover experiences
Claudia is wonderful! Olive is anxious and has some separation anxiety. Claudia took time out of her own day to meet Olive ahead of her doggy day care and it made all the difference. Olive had a great time and I received plenty of updates/photos throughout the day. Definitely recommend!

Julie and Adam did a fantastic job of understanding the very specific needs of my two unusual dogs. They have been so patient in developing trust with my 5 year old dog Maisie who is highly reactive and distrustful of people. Maisie is so insecure/fearful/reactive of humans that I thought boarding her would be a disaster so never tried it. Until my good friend told me about Julie and Adam who are good friends of hers. Maisie has done two days of daycare with Julie and Adam, and when Maisie arrived for the second time, she RAN into their house. Normally she would cower and refuse to go into a new situation but she recognized that these two people are good humans who take good care of her. She even chose to rest on their bed during the day!! That shows how much she trusts them. They are the best people, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are clearly experienced with difficult dogs and willing to be flexible to accommodate changes in my schedule. As well as thoughtful and creative in finding ways to help my dogs have their best experience.
