About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization and training throughout various life stages. I currently share my home with three dogs of my own and I regularly care for friends' cats and dogs, both in my home and theirs. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from small lap dogs to large breeds, and know that each comes with its own personality, energy level, and needs. People tell me I'm not just a dog person but also someone dogs are drawn to. Cats have been a constant in my life just as long as dogs have. I know how to read their cues, respect their space, and earn their trust on their own terms. I genuinely love every stage of a pet's life and know how to meet each animal where they are, whether that's an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a laid-back senior. I’ve worked in human crisis intervention for over 6 years, which means I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly and clearly when something unexpected happens. That same steady, caring approach is what I bring to every pet I look after. I do Rover to supplement my nonprofit career, so when I take on your pet it's because I genuinely want to be here, not because I have to be. Your pet won't just be cared for, they'll feel right at home! I work from home on a flexible schedule that I primarily set myself, which means I'm present with your pet throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time and can separate pets as needed, so your animal has a safe, comfortable space even with my own dogs in the home. My partner, Jen, is also available to support with pet care and walks if you are comfortable with Jen stepping in at times. I booked boarding with Jill (Hui-Min) for an extended work trip and is so happy I trusted my 3 year old golden doodle, Mika, in her care. From meeting Jill for the first time, she patiently addressed all my questions and even made specific an accommodations for Mika due to her not getting along with a separate dog she was watching at the time. Christiano is great with our dog. He is such a nice guy and you can tell he really cares about animals. We feel comfortable leaving our boy with him and know he's in good hands. It's really nice to have someone we can rely on when we need a dog sitter. He even was able to take our dog last minute/day of when we needed someone. Our dog also has some specific needs and Christiano is always accommodating. Definitely recommend him and his team!

He also spent some time with me introducing me to the six other dogs that were there. The meeting was informative and a good chance for the two of us to see how Kyle fit in. While visiting the Bay Area, we were lucky to find Yagmur. Montague had fun daycare visits with Yagmur for a few days. She kept us up-to-date during his stays with her, sending photos regularly and providing other updates on his other activities. We got a bit late picking him up one evening, Yagmur was the most accommodating about it. We highly recommend her for your dogs daycare or boarding needs.
