“Yagmur did a great job with my husky, Alba! She was friendly, communicative, and shared a lot of updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated, especially since it was Alba's first time with dog boarding.”

“We asked Juyeon to look after our dogs, Ella and Andy, for a single day, and we’re pleased with the experience. She was extremely flexible and accommodating, especially since we needed to drop them off early in the morning. Juyeon took great care of Ella and Andy, giving them short walks 6 times throughout the day, which was very thoughtful given they weren’t in the mood for longer walks. She kept us updated, was quick to respond, and gave us peace of mind. Overall, we’re happy we asked Juyeon to care for Ella and Andy, and we’d love to have her dog sit for us again in the future.”

About: I am compassionate about dogs and truly want them to enjoy themselves in my home. As an animal shelter foster volunteer, I am particularly experienced in helping shy dogs relax! I WFH from Monday to Friday, so I provide breakfast and a AM walk just before I start my work day. During the work day, I provide potty breaks in my private, fully fenced yard. After work, I can provide a PM walk, dinner, and evening cuddles! Your pup will have my 15lb dog as a buddy during the day while I WFH. They have access to a fully fenced private backyard to play and sunbathe. Our home is focused on providing a calm and peaceful environment for your pup to relax and enjoy.

About: For boarding, my house as a large yard for any dog to run around in. For walking, I likely spoil any dog with treats if allowed Currently as I look for new job opportunities, I am available most days to look after your dog. I have a fairly flexible with my schedule and able to pick up and drop-off if nearby. I have a 45lb german shephard that is calm when indoors. If weather is nice then I will let the dogs run around in a fenced in yard. I would like to introduce them just to be safe, but my dog is friendly with all dogs.
“Eve was absolutely amazing. She took so many videos of my puppy Aurora. She’s so sweet and quirky. We hung out for a little while after I picked up my puppy and we just laughed and got to know each other. It was an overall amazing experience from her charisma to the way that she absolutely loves dogs as if they were children.”

“We were worried about leaving our new puppy for the first time, but Alisha set up a Zoom so we could meet her the day before and it was immediately obvious that she would take great care of our little guy. Then, when we dropped him off, he practically jumped into her arms and made himself at home in the space she has set up which is perfect for doggy guests. She sent us updates and pics throughout the evening. We are very glad to have Alisha nearby for the future. I especially appreciate her depth of knowledge -- she is a great resource for those of us who have limited experience with raising puppies!”

“If I could give 6 stars I would. Kianna and the kids treated Charlie with care and kindness. They played til he dropped. Normally when I pick him up from days care, he’s ready to go, not today. I think he was upset he was leaving. :) I will be booking again. Thank you Kianna.”

“This is our second time booking doggy day care with Danielle and her dog Nala. Danielle does a great job. She keeps our dog safe and well entertained. We appreciate her updates of messages and photos throughout the day. Looking forward to the next time.”

About: Berkeley Humane Society and Oakland Animal Services volunteer, trained with dogs of all temperaments. I also dog sit for family and friends, and love building trust and keeping routines consistent. I focus on quality walks, not quick outings. When appropriate, I take dogs to East Bay spots like Point Isabel, Albany Bulb and Berkeley Marina for space and stimulation. For drop-ins, your dog will get lots of attention, movement and care. I walk my dogs daily, often on longer outings. I adjust pace and distance based on your dog’s needs. Dog care is my priority right now. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I have flexibility and I can accommodate longer walks or extended visits I prioritize safety at all times. Dogs will always be on-leash and handled either full attention and control. I stick to your instructions and keep routines consistent
“Lucas was able to take my little dog Peanut for the day on very short notice - really appreciated it! He (Peanut ;) was a bit nervous at first but I knew he was in good hands. Lucas is very responsive and clear in communicating, and he has a calmness with the dogs that really seems to put them at ease. I highly recommend him!”

About: My goal is to provide a stress-free stay-cation for your dog , giving you the peace of mind you need to have a stress-free vacation! When I think of dogs, I think of the lessons that I've learned from them over the years. Lessons in silliness, patience, exuberance, empathy, and unconditional love :] I do have a business partner, a 10 year old retired service dog named Kizmet. He comes with me virtually everywhere and is extremely patient and great with other dogs. He and I work together to make all of our guests feel welcome and safe while their families are away. I grew up with a puppy of my own and in high school, I boarded my friends' dogs. I began dog sitting in college. I am a dog walker and sitter to dogs of all shapes and sizes. I absolutely LOVE my job, and there is rarely a day when I am not excited for work! I am very patient, firm, and kind with everyone I meet, and this extends of course to my canine friends. I have experience walking many dogs at a time, especially off-leash. I always take a hike midday, as well as a couple shorter outings around the neighborhood in the morning and in the evening. I love the dog-friendly trails at the Bulb, Marina, Pt Isable and Tilden Park. I also love to take the dogs swimming when possible! I think its important that dogs get socialization time with other dogs, in addition to physical exercis and mental stimulation. My ultimate goal is to reduce as much anxiety as possible, in order to maximise fun. Kizmet is a black lab/pittie mix who loves smooches, snuggling, and swimming. He gets along with everyone. He also adores kids. As a dog owner myself, I am committed to providing your sweet furbabe with the care I would want Kizmet to have in my absense. In the future, I hope to found my own working dog training center. I know that my pup has helped me so much already, and I would love to provide similar deeply rewarding experiences to others in need. I currently work from home, so I am around and available at all times. Your fur baby will only be alone for up to 3 hours at the most! I have a small fenced yard with plenty of shade. My pup enjoys sunbathing and having spirited exchanges with our squirrel neighbors. Everyone is welcome on the bed and furniture :] I create a safe space for my animal friends by ensuring they have enough personal space, letting them set the pace of interaction, and making sure they feel confident and supported.
“We had a great first daycare with Nikolai! He is very responsive and easy to coordinate with. It was nice to know Jax was having a fun day with other dogs and nice people. Excited to go back again!!”

“Vito loooves Mariola and Lux! He had a great time staying there for the day. Mariola is attentive and patient and provides a safe and relaxed environment. We will definitely have Vito stay with her again.”

Mariola did a great job caring for my almost one year old puppy. I booked three days in a row while my husband was out of town and Pepper was eager to go each day. Mariola had helpful tips about managing youthful enthusiasm without shaming her for still working on self control.

My former Rover professional recently retired and I had to find a replacement. I was so, so glad I found this pair to watch my treasured Kyle. I have been interacting with Lucas. He is always prompt in meeting me when I drop off Kyle and when I pick him up. During our Meet and Greet Lucas showed me his home and doggie-perfect back yard. I was impressed. He also spent some time with me introducing me to the six other dogs that were there. The meeting was informative and a good chance for the two of us to see how Kyle fit in. Lucas is a true professional. He couldn't be better.

Jason was just great with our girl Phoebe! She has separation anxiety, yet took to him right away, thanks to treats and play! I appreciated that Jason took to heart Phoebe's reactivity and avoided other dogs while on their walks. He was a good listener and very communicative with messages and photos. Our experience was all positive! More than happy to use Jason again!

While visiting the Bay Area, we were lucky to find Yagmur. Montague had fun daycare visits with Yagmur for a few days. She kept us up-to-date during his stays with her, sending photos regularly and providing other updates on his other activities. We got a bit late picking him up one evening, Yagmur was the most accommodating about it. We highly recommend her for your dogs daycare or boarding needs. It was absolutely lovely for us and we would use Yagmur’s services again.
