About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have an 8 year old that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. You can trust that we will care for your pups as if they are our very own family dog for the duration of their stay.

As a gardener, I'm cognizant of what plants are toxic vs edible and will always keep an eye on your pet to ensure they're not getting into anything dangerous. If I bring your dog on adventures or errands, they will always stay right by my side and will never be left in a car, tied up, or in any other unsafe situation. About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. Alejandra was amazing! We did a meet and greet beforehand that lasted about an hour, and she immediately made me feel comfortable. Poe is a total Velcro dog, so I was honestly really anxious about leaving him while I traveled for work. Knowing he would be with someone who works from home and had a rooftop dog park gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond with updates and photos throughout the day, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about making sure Poe was happy and comfortable. Every time I picked him up, he was relaxed and happy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to leave Poe with Alejandra again!
Chrystal was very receptive and understanding of the needs for my old husky girl. Actually, she confirmed that my dog was very sweet with people, mainly herself and her family. Crystal was able to work and stay with my dog as I mentioned was desirable as my dog has had separation issues. It looks like my dog was taken very good care of and I appreciate it.
Nati watched Nora recently and took great care of her. She took Nora out on a few walks, and was thoughtful, communicative, and easy to coordinate with. The entire experience was easy and reassuring and I'll definitely be booking w/ her again for longer/overnight stays.
Ellah was amazing. She took excellent care of my pup. My sometimes anxious Jack Russel clearly felt completely at home and safe with Ellah. Excellent communication, sent pics and gave updates. Ellah made what would have been a very long day for my dog a safe and fun day for her. I am grateful for caring for my dog like family, it's hard to find someone that genuinely cares and does that. :)
Tamara was very accommodating for a last mintue reservation. We appreciated her flexibility. Calliope takes a little extra care to win her over--Tamara did an excellent job. Tamara's pup Sidney got along great with our pups. I would highly recommend her she is warm and caring and knows her stuff when it comes to dogs.
Sarah was wonderful with Bijou! He is a well-behaved dog but has a ton of energy, and it was clear that Sarah understood his personality perfectly. You could easily tell from the pictures she shared that he was having a blast. She took him on a couple of walks, and he came home completely happy and tired out from all the fun. I highly recommend Sarah for doggy day care and will definitely use her services again!
Amber helped me by watching my two little doggies for back to back 12 hour days! My sitter at my departure city fell through and I had to bring my doggies to the SF area, but had nonstop events where I couldn’t have the dogs. She was a life saver!
