Hello friends- My name is Amber, I am 33 years old and I am an experienced dog sitter looking for new clients. I live in a 6 unit building not far from lake Merritt and have a yard with plenty of toys and treats that I keep on hand. I have been regularly boarding dogs in my home for the last 8 years and love it! Our dog Ripley loves every dog she has ever met, so your dog would have a pal to hang out with while here. All of my friends have dogs so we are a generally very social household. Dogs are my life- if it were up to me I'd have 10+, maybe someday!

Amber helped me by watching my two little doggies for back to back 12 hour days! My sitter at my departure city fell through and I had to bring my doggies to the SF area, but had nonstop events where I couldn’t have the dogs. She was a life saver! She was super communicative and nice. A great experience.

Schedule
As I said I am home majority of the day, we get one park experience in daily, sometimes 2- and then another walk, backyard social Time and potty breaks super regularly

I work from home and am here about 75 percent of the day, so the dogs are rarely alone. I tend to take the dogs to the park every morning and also get in an evening walk

A typical day
Generally I wake up, stop to get a cup of coffee and head to the fenced dog park in west Oakland and throw the ball and just allow them to enjoy the fresh air and socialize. When they’re all tuckered out I like to give each of them a bone to enjoy while I get back to work, and then they play outside in the backyard and hang out inside with me on the couch off and on.
