About: I've had pets most of my life. When I was born, my mom had three Cocker Spaniels. Over the years, I have had several large breed dogs and one small dog. I enjoy spending time hiking and training my own dog and others. Over the last several years, I have been helping my son with his pet care business, so I have had a lot of experience boarding pets. I am a retired teacher, so I am home most of the time. I do run some errands during the day or am out walking dogs. Most of our guest dogs stay in the living room where we spend most of our time. I have a fenced yard, a Standard Poodle that is very used to having guest dogs in my home, and three cats that live upstairs.
“Ross took such great care of Joey! He clearly is such a dog person who could intuitively figure out all of Joey’s quirks. Joey had a great stay and is probably already looking forward to his next stay with Ross!”

“Banksy had an amazing time at Luna's and loved playing with Jim. I felt extremely comfortable leaving Banksy with Luna, based on the questions she asked about Banksy, her attention to detail about his needs and safety, and just her kind warm personality! I loved the pictures each day. I wholeheartedly recommend Luna and will definitely be having her watch Banksy again!”

“Hope was recommended to us by another great Rover sitter, and we are really grateful. Hope is so friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. She made Coconut comfortable immediately. Her little dog Rocky is adorable and super friendly. Coconut loved going for walks and playing with Rocky's toys. Hope was great with sending text updates as well as photos and videos. Here's hoping Hope doesn't get too busy to have room for Coconut the next time we need her!”

“My dog Gracie, who is shy, really enjoyed staying with Nadine. She especially loved Nadine‘s dog Cosmo, and happily played with her. Nadine sent me pictures and videos every day and that set my heart at rest that Gracie was having a wonderful time. I highly recommend Nadine. Gracie will be seen Nadine, Cosmo, and the other dogs again. Thank you so much, Nadine.”

“Jennifer was great! This was our first time using Rover for our very playful golden retriever. Jennifer was quick to respond to all messages. We had a meet and greet with her and her dog to make sure it was a good fit. Her backyard is a great size. While we were away Jennifer sent us daily photos and updates, even a video. When I messaged her questions she responded quickly. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Jennifer and will use her again!”

“Mariah is incredibly kind, warm, responsible, and flexible. She took great care of Bolo and helped maintain our training protocols (which can be a big ask with a 10 month old pup!) She did careful and thoughtful introductions with her doggies, took Bolo on walks, fed him, and made sure he was comfortable and happy. She also sent frequent updates and photos, so I could relax knowing my little guy was doing alright. Her house is perfect for dogs - she has multiple gates to separate dogs as needed and a big yard for the pups to play. She also lives on a quiet street, so there are not cars zooming by.”

I’m patient with shy or anxious dogs and understand that some pets need extra time to feel comfortable and build trust. “I have an anxious senior pup who hasn't spent much time apart from my partner and I since adopting him a few months ago (in large part due to his anxiety). I did a pre-meeting with Zoe to make sure it would be a good fit for the pup and then we completed the booking. While my pup still let me know later in the day he was mad I left him, when I picked him up he was happy and bouncing around, but also perfectly happy to go back and hang with her. I think this was the most positive experience possible for Rick and am hopeful the positive experience might help him towards being less anxious when we leave him in the future (every positive experience helps I hope!). I would and will definitely book again with her as long as she's available and accepts him again! Also to note, she was very flexible with our pick up time which I appreciated - I had mentioned I might be able to pick the dog up early, and then when I was able to I messaged her that day and picked him up 3 hours early to hopefully make it easier on Rick. That for sure saved me some time instead of needing to pick him up and hitting rush hour on my way home. She was also very helpful and provided feedback to me on Rick's behavior at my request so I have a good handle on how his anxiety and overall behavior is progressing as we try to work through it. Thanks again Zoe (and Partner!)! I really appreciate y'all.”

“Max always has a good time when staying with Gail. He's always in a good mood when he comes back home. Gail does not fail to update us with photos throughout the day. She's also very flexible especially with same day booking. She is now our go-to person for our cockapoo Max. Till next time!”

“Asatur eased my anxieties with my dog Teddy socializing with other doggos! Teddy had so much fun and he went straight to Asatur at drop off. His house is a great space for the dogs to run around. I am definitely booking with Asatur in the future!! Teddy has been sleeping all day today because he’s exhausted 😄”

“Yasmin was so incredibly great with my dog! I have a very hyper little dog and she was so patient and kind with him. She took him for long walks (even in this heatwave!) and made sure he had water after they were done. She also takes the cutest pictures that I have saved many to my phone. She even provides an update of how the walk went and what happened with her walking card which definitely going above and beyond. If you need a great dog walker I would highly recommend her because she is so amazing!”

“Gabby did a great job with my dog, Murphy! Murphy’s a rescue chihuahua mix who takes awhile to warm up to new people. I know it was not easy, but Gabby got him out for two walks while I had to travel out of town for the day. I really appreciated Gabby’s patience with him and it was a relief to know he was in good hands.”

“Good communication and sense of humor. Accommodated my dogs needs even if they didn’t fully align with the Rover plan. I booked a walk but my girl decided she didn’t want to and Leslie hung out with her in the yard and gave her cuddles and attention instead.”

About: I am new to rover but not new to caring for animals. I have had all kinds of pets throughout of my life! Because of this, I consider myself to be attentive, patient, and empathetic. I have experience in basic training dogs & puppies. At the moment I have a Border Collie named Koffee that I co parent with my brother, this taught me how important communication is (this includes sending the cutest pics/vids of them). I have a flexible schedule and I am available near by on most days. I treat all animals as if they were my own and I absolutely adore my pets so I know how important caring for someone else's pet. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, so I can quickly spot when something may be wrong and notify you right away. I have cared for my own pets from their puppy and kitten stages all the way through their senior years, so I truly understand how their needs change throughout every phase of life. I care for pets in both my home and my client’s home by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I know how important familiarity is for animals. In my own home, I maintain a consistent and structured routine for my pets. My dog and cat are fed at the same time every day to keep them on a healthy schedule. My dog gets daily morning walks and dedicated playtime to help burn off energy, especially since she’s a very energetic puppy. I also make sure my cat’s litter box is cleaned daily, and I always clean up promptly after my dog, both indoors and outdoors. I’ve personally potty-trained my dog, which shows my patience and consistency in training. I love taking my dog to local dog parks because I love to be outside and active while also getting her used to socializing. In addition, I stay on top of regular grooming needs, including nail trims, baths, and dental care.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for 15 years. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and care for their pets while away. I’m patient, attentive, active, and genuinely love animals. I understand the importance of making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I love taking dogs on hikes and to the beach as well. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends. I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and making sure pets get the care, attention, exercise, and companionship they need to feel happy and comfortable. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving, and attentive environment and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, routines, medications, walks, and special care needs. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and body language to ensure they feel safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.
“We had a great experience with Sarita! She took care of our dog at her place for a week. She was super reliable, communicative (lots of great pics, videos, and updates), and our pup absolutely loved her and her family. Overall, we were at complete ease knowing our dog was with Sarita and we highly recommend her for any of your dog care needs!”
“Louis watched our dog for multiple days over Thanksgiving week, and was absolutely amazing. He gave super prompt communication and is very knowledgeable. We felt at ease during our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend Louis if you are in need of a great dog sitter!”

“Michael has taken care of our pup a few times now. He always takes great care of her, and we love that she has a friend to play with (his dog Mayzie) when she goes there. He communicates with us about how she is doing regularly throughout her stay there, and he even sends photos, which really gives us peace of mind. Thanks Michael!”

“Such a great first dog sitting experience. Jonathan has such a calm and loving personality he was a perfect 4th of July dog sitter for my pup who can really struggle with fireworks. Very attentive sent photos daily of walks I will definitely reach out again and hope he is available”

“Sabin did a wonderful job with my dog. It was the first timeI had ever left her with a stranger. She didn’t seem to miss me at all He took her on daily walks, gave her meds and sent me daily pics of her having a great time and becoming part of the family. I also liked that his home was very tidy. I will be leaving my dog with Sabin whenever I need to board my dog.”

“This is our second boarding experience with Luciana and Rob, and we couldn't be more grateful for them watching our two dogs for over two weeks. They were communicative and so patient with our doggies. One of our dogs gets super nervous and warey of strangers, so it takes a while for him to warm up to others, and they did a great job of being patient with him and giving him space to warm up, they were finally able to get belly rubs from him towards the end, which shows how gentle and caring they were towards him to show that he trusts them. Thank you for watching our puppies and we look forward to using them again as our future dog sitters. :)”

“Betsy loves her home away from home with Lanette and Dave! We can tell they really are dog people and care for our 7-year old lab like their own. They even gifted us a new slow-feeding bowl for her! Lanette was great at communicating and sending us updates/photos throughout our trip. They also were incredibly accommodating when our flight got delayed and Betsy needed to stay an extra night. We don’t like to leave Betsy often, but we know that we can trust Lanette and Dave to provide all the love and care she needs. I whole heartedly recommend them and know we will be using them again in the future!”

About: I have over 10 years of pet boarding experience. In my home are 2 cats, 1 pug and 1 turtle. My babies love when we have guests and truly enjoy the company as much as I do. I work great hours and not too long which leaves me with plenty of play time and 2 long walks a day. I spend most of my time at home which gives us plenty of quality time to hangout. There is a large patio on the second floor for sunbathing during the day while looking at a great view of the water. As well as 2 cats, 1 pug and a turtle who love company and everyone is free to roam the whole house but they do have their own fur baby room for space if they like.
“Abigail went above and beyond to care for our two dogs while we were away for 2 weeks. We have two dogs in very different life stages (one is elderly and required medication and one is young and highly energetic). She catered to them both perfectly and sent updates everyday while we were away. We have the upmost confidence in Abigail, she is genuinely kind and attentive. Couldn’t recommend her enough!”

About: Hi! I'm Carly. After spending the last 15 years supporting executives in the tech industry, I'm taking some time to figure out what's next and focus on what I truly love -- animals. I've been around animals my entire life, stay involved with local rescue and fostering, and today I have several rescue dogs of my own. I'm available to travel, am reliable, organized, and take pride in being someone people can count on. Whether I'm caring for your family pets, your home, or both, my goal is to make your time away as worry-free as possible. I look forward to connecting! ⌂ 🐾 I'm currently taking time to figure out what's next for me professionally after spending the last 15 years working in tech. I have an extremely flexible schedule and ability to travel right now, and would love to be part of making sure your animals are taken care of in a way that works for you (walks, hikes, house hangs, etc). My home has a very large fenced in yard that my own dogs go wild in each day. I make sure all animals feel loved, are stimulated, and get whatever it is they need.
