About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization and training throughout various life stages. I currently share my home with three dogs of my own and I regularly care for friends' cats and dogs, both in my home and theirs. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time and can separate pets as needed, so your animal has a safe, comfortable space even with my own dogs in the home. My partner, Jen, is also available to support with pet care and walks if you are comfortable with Jen stepping in at times. “Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

I have a dog (Molly) who I hate to have a favorite, but she's the best dog I've ever had. Super chill, never needs a leash and I take her on lots of bike ride and electric skateboard runs around the hills in our neighborhood. I'll follow all the guidance from the pet parents in terms of safety and needs. I'll take the queue from you in terms of other animal interactions, or just do solo walks etc as needed. They suggested a meet and greet at their home beforehand, which allowed Kiwi to get familiar with them and their home before our 15-day trip. This really helped on drop off day. They were so loving to her, took her on adventures to new places and let her snuggle with them at night. I received regular messages and pics while we were away which was very comforting. Luciana is experienced with dogs and even gave me a tip to help with my dogs food allergies. They are warm and responsible and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or rebook them in the future.
