Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). “I have an anxious senior pup who hasn't spent much time apart from my partner and I since adopting him a few months ago (in large part due to his anxiety). I did a pre-meeting with Zoe to make sure it would be a good fit for the pup and then we completed the booking. While my pup still let me know later in the day he was mad I left him, when I picked him up he was happy and bouncing around, but also perfectly happy to go back and hang with her. I think this was the most positive experience possible for Rick and am hopeful the positive experience might help him towards being less anxious when we leave him in the future (every positive experience helps I hope!). I would and will definitely book again with her as long as she's available and accepts him again! Also to note, she was very flexible with our pick up time which I appreciated - I had mentioned I might be able to pick the dog up early, and then when I was able to I messaged her that day and picked him up 3 hours early to hopefully make it easier on Rick. That for sure saved me some time instead of needing to pick him up and hitting rush hour on my way home. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have had three of my own, which has helped me understand their different personalities, routines, and needs. I regularly take care of my cousin’s Husky and Shih Tzu when she’s busy, making sure they’re fed, exercised, and comfortable. I also care for my boyfriend’s cat at my home whenever he’s away, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, and giving lots of attention. In addition, I’ve been feeding a stray cat in my neighborhood and even set up a small outdoor shelter for her to keep her safe and warm. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy making sure they feel loved and cared for. 🐾 I have classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I’m free the rest of the week to hang out with furry friends and give them lots of love and attention. I'm available for in-home visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays,s and Saturdays all day. I'm also available for walks on those same days. The main thing they want is a little company but most owners have other responsibilities to cater to. About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house I share with my girlfriend with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.
