About: I had a high school job after school walk a dog and I did that for a few years and I have personal cats dogs I’m currently working part-time, so I have flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and playtime. I’ll work with your schedule to make sure your dog gets the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your dog securely leashed during walks, and make sure they always have fresh water and plenty of attention. About: Dogs are family, not just pets. A well trained dog, is a happy dog. My previous dog was a border collie so I am well versed in training energetic pups who want jobs. Clients have told me that their pup comes home better behaved than when they were dropped off! I WFH and leave the doors open to the back yard for free inside/outside access. She can do “down” at a distance and will stay until released even when she does not have me in view. **No aggressive or reactive dogs please** Unless it’s a puppy and we are actively potty training, dogs must be house trained. I do not use puppy pee pads in my home. I work from home so have plenty of time to interact and just be there for my girl and your pup. We love going the park and training or sniffing. My yard is fenced(4ft gate) . There is a front and back yard so they can have plenty of outside time even at home. I live 2 blocks to parks where pups can romp. If you dog likes to escape and can climb a 47 in fence, this yard may not be for you.

About: I was lucky enough to have some amazing dogs in my life. As a teen a yellow lab named Bandit helped me through some of the toughest times of my life just by being my dog. Later in life a giant schnauzer named Effie came into my life. She was a big girl weighing in at 115 lbs. She was not the most energetic but navigating through day to day tasks with such a big dog is not for the unprepared. Those dogs gave me their greatest years and the combined experience they both granted me with their time here has prepared me to deal with any type of dog; regardless of shape or size and even personality type. I currently find myself with a ton of free time and I don't have any pets at this point in my life but have always missed the company of a cat or dog since I have grown up around animals for most of my life. I plan to care for a pet the same way I would perform any job or duty with the upmost of attention and care. Your pet would be cared for as if they were a human child. During walks I would watch our surroundings carefully to keep us both out of danger, of course water will be provided as well. I am fully prepared to tend to pets here at my home. I have hard wood floors so clean up would be no problem for me and there is a patch of grass in the back part of my apartment building.

Rachael was a tremendous and extremely knowledgeable petsittter for our two cats who were recently rescued. This was a long hall being separated from Edger for a month. Te' did a great job. So many litter box refreshes, many cans to open and serve and dental treats to dispense. All done expertly. I go home earlier than expected but no reason to adjust any payout. My place was as good as I found it and Edger actually met me at the door late in the night of my return. Thanks to Te' my month out of California ended peacefully and calmly.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
