About: Growing up with dogs (Pit Bulls, Miniature Dachsund, a Boxer, & more), I remain a dog loving person as an adult! I’ve been a Rover sitter since 2021 and have served as a foster home for senior dogs through Muttville (looking after a Mini Doberman Pinscher and a Shiba Inu - Basenji mix). You can also find me on Wag. I am generally fully available for all services on weekends. On weekdays, I do not provide boarding and only accept day care requests starting after 3 PM. In my home, dogs are allowed on our furniture with exception to our bed. I have big floofy cushions that I leave throughout the house so dogs have lots of napping options. I let dogs sleep wherever they like (with exception to our bed) – for some dogs this has meant on top of a pile of blankets on a seat in our living room, for others this means on a floor cushion or bed directly next to our human bed. I am very accustomed to picky eaters (and even picky drinkers!), and am used to boiling chicken or salmon with some rice for the especially picky ones. I am experienced in administering oral medications to dogs, including through syringes. I will follow whatever rules you set for your home!
About: I’ve worked cared for high-energy breeds, shy rescues, senior dogs with mobility issues, and everything in between. Whether it’s a long walk, a cuddle session, or administering meds, I’m here to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe. About: I’ve had pets of my own for more than 30 years and have extensive hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve fostered pets for two local rescue organizations and have also volunteered extensively with a well-known local rescue, including at mobile adoption events, screening potential adopters, and conducting home visits. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up we had 12 Dobermans on our property. Most of my childhood involves caring for them. Since then I’ve owned dogs, and worked on other platforms taking care of and walking other animals. You can trust your fur baby will be in the best of care. About: I am new to rover but not new to caring for animals. I have had all kinds of pets throughout of my life! Because of this, I consider myself to be attentive, patient, and empathetic. I know how it can be scary trusting a stranger with your pet but I can assure you, I'll treat them as my own. I am the type of person that points out every dog that walks by in awe! I have experience in basic training dogs & puppies. A $150 minimum fee applies if your pet requires bathing, arrives with fleas/mites/lice, or causes excessive cleaning after their stay. This covers the cost of specialized cleaning, treatment, and extra labor required to sanitize our home during or after their stay. Be certain your flea and tick care regimen is current and your pet has had a bath. If you would like additional care services, feel free to reach out. We’re so glad we found Patti! After using many different pet sitters over the years, I can genuinely say that Patti has been the most authentic and genuinely caring sitter we’ve found! She is someone you can truly trust and rely on. We were away for three weeks, and she took wonderful care of our lovely cat, Mellow through a combination of drop-in visits and house sitting. She was incredibly attentive, trustworthy, easy to work with, and most importantly, genuinely caring toward Mellow. We came home to a very happy, relaxed cat and a clean and organized home. Patti also thoughtfully kept an eye on the feral cats in our backyard and made sure their automatic feeder was refilled on time. Her rates are also reasonable, and she was incredibly accommodating with us. Since our stay was quite long and some dates fell under higher holiday rates, she kindly worked with us and adjusted the booking rates on her end, which we really appreciated. You can truly tell that Patti genuinely loves and cares about animals. We felt completely at ease knowing Mellow was with her, and we will absolutely be reaching out to her again in the future. Kira was great, she came over prior for a meet and greet, and a few days later did a visit with our dog. She followed directions perfectly and took our dog on a little walk while we were gone. She was communicative and you can tell she's seasoned in taking care of dogs. Would happily use her again.
Irina was fantastic! She was patient and kind during our meet and greet while my senior dog, Kona, warmed up to her. Kona is new to the area, so it meant a lot to find someone who made her feel comfortable and cared for. I had long days at a company training, and I was so thankful knowing my girl was being looked after. Kona looked so happy in the photos Irina sent, and I really appreciated the peace of mind. Highly recommend!

My husband had an unexpected flight delay, and without hesitation, she stepped in to let our dog, Peaches, out late at night so she wouldn’t be alone until morning. Deborah is a wonderful pet caretaker. Our cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and has to take oral medication every day and even though we have only been doing this regime for a week she was willing to jump in and help for the holiday weekend. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
