Her house is perfect for dogs - she has multiple gates to separate dogs as needed and a big yard for the pups to play. She also lives on a quiet street, so there are not cars zooming by.”

“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: Our family loves four-legged friends! As doggie parents for 20 years, we have also taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages from puppies to seniors. We do have a 2.5 year old Beagle and ask that your dog is well-socialized and ready to interact with our dog. That said, we only board one dog at time, so we can shower love and care on your dog. We can easily fit in morning and evening walks dependent on your dog's routine. Our home has a doggie door to a fenced backyard, so your dog has easy access to the bathroom and a play area. We had a meet and greet with her and her dog to make sure it was a good fit. Her backyard is a great size. While we were away Jennifer sent us daily photos and updates, even a video. When I messaged her questions she responded quickly. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Jennifer and will use her again!”

“Ruthy is a fantastic find! This was our first time using Rover.com and we really lucked out in finding someone as knowledgeable, responsible, and passionate about dogs as Ruthy. Our dog is a newly adopted large-breed dog with a lot of energy as well as separation anxiety. There are not a lot of sitters that would be able to handle our guy! From the moment we met Ruthy at the meet-and-greet we could tell that she took her job very seriously and knew how to be a responsible dog owner and caretaker. We've used Ruthy once for doggy daycare and once for boarding, and we are going to keep using her again because we could not imagine there being anyone better to care for our pup. We also loved all the pictures and videos of our dog enjoying his stay while we were out of town (it actually made us worry that he had forgotten about us)! We would highly recommend Ruthy to anyone who wants to leave their dog with someone who not only knows how to handle dogs, but who truly cares about them.”

“Mariah is incredibly kind, warm, responsible, and flexible. She took great care of Bolo and helped maintain our training protocols (which can be a big ask with a 10 month old pup!) She did careful and thoughtful introductions with her doggies, took Bolo on walks, fed him, and made sure he was comfortable and happy. She also sent frequent updates and photos, so I could relax knowing my little guy was doing alright. Her house is perfect for dogs - she has multiple gates to separate dogs as needed and a big yard for the pups to play. She also lives on a quiet street, so there are not cars zooming by.”
