About: I've always been a dog lover! I've volunteered at animal shelters, raised and trained four puppies of my own, and currently have two lovable pit bull mixes who are very much part of the family. I have hands-on experience with different personalities, energy levels, and the patience that comes with raising puppies. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. And as far as I'm concerned, they're all babies, whether they're 8 weeks or 15 years old! I know how much our dogs mean to us, and I'll treat yours with the same love, attention, and care I give my own. Caring for dogs is part of my daily routine. With two dogs of my own, I'm accustomed to managing feeding schedules, walks, exercise, and individual care needs. I work a flexible, part-time schedule that allows me to accommodate pet care throughout the week and provide consistent attention and supervision. I provide dog walking and pet care in clients' homes, but do not offer boarding. My goal is to maintain each pet's normal routine and provide consistent, attentive care in a familiar environment. “We had been looking for a dog walker for a while but after meeting Patti we found exactly what we wanted. She is very friendly, trustworthy and dependable. Patti was thorough on making sure our dogs were cared for in case of an emergency by asking for vet information and emergency vet contacts. On our first trial session with Patti one of our dogs was sprayed by a skunk the nite before and we did our best to remove the skunk smell but it still had a strong oder that lingered. She is someone you can truly trust and rely on. We were away for three weeks, and she took wonderful care of our lovely cat, Mellow through a combination of drop-in visits and house sitting. She was incredibly attentive, trustworthy, easy to work with, and most importantly, genuinely caring toward Mellow. We came home to a very happy, relaxed cat and a clean and organized home. Patti also thoughtfully kept an eye on the feral cats in our backyard and made sure their automatic feeder was refilled on time. Since our stay was quite long and some dates fell under higher holiday rates, she kindly worked with us and adjusted the booking rates on her end, which we really appreciated. Kira was great, she came over prior for a meet and greet, and a few days later did a visit with our dog. She followed directions perfectly and took our dog on a little walk while we were gone. She was communicative and you can tell she's seasoned in taking care of dogs. Would happily use her again.
