“Deborah was an angel to work with! My dog could immediately tell she was a dog person. Took to her like a fish to water. He came back in an amazing mood, ready for a nap. So grateful and appreciative!!!”

“What a wonderful person! I was very worried because my son's dog is unruly and wants to eat other dogs. Kyla had the dog walking along as peaceful as can be. She was truely a blessing.”
About: Use MARTHR02340 code for your first booking !! I'm super reliable, very patient and attentive when left in care of your fur babies I like to chill and lounge on the couch with them or go on long walks or spend time at the park P.s will follow special instructions if there is any needed to follow :)) For days that I have available for pet sittings I like to know if they will have a schedule to follow or not so I usually go by that but I have most days off with just gardening to do or stuff to do around the house/lounging or hiking/ running errands. I make sure to keep any toys, food or medication nearby. I’m comfortable caring for pets that may need more attention than others or that may be more independent.
“Michael has been a lifesaver when life is life-ing. He really built a rapport with my pups especially my rescue german who is weary of strangers. The boys look forward to their walks and are always ready for a nap when they come home. Thank you so much!”

“Marlette was available for a very last second walk with my dog. She kept safety and exploration at the top of list in choosing a walk. Not only does she reply quickly, she shows up on time, has a beautiful kindness she emanates, and my dog loves her! Highly recommend!”

“Cyndi was so great with our dogs. They connected with her immediately and greeted her with enthusiasm on every visit. Friendly and reliable— our dogs definitely loved Cyndi’s visits and the variety of walks she took them on. We plan to have her care for our dogs again on future trips if she’s available.”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for my whole life and take care of family and friends dogs when they go away. I’ve taken care of dogs of all different sizes from many different backgrounds. All of my dogs were adopted so I’m familiar with all types of dog personalities. My current dog (Heather) is a pit/lab mix who used to pull so I have experience with pullers and helping them become better walkers! I’m a college athlete and have school and practices Monday-Thursday, but after 4pm on those days I’ll be available to walk and care for pets. The rest of the days I’m available all day long. I take my own dog on long walks at point pinole and I often help out with my boyfriend’s pups with long walks around his neighborhood. I’m willing to take dogs to parks and I love spending quality time with all pets.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - El Sobrante
Merlette is amazing. We had a last minute event and needed to get my boys walked and Willette was more than happy to step in and help. I am so grateful for her that we found her. I can’t say enough great things about her so thank you again for that. You’re amazing thank you.

Patti was great. We met up for a meet and greet before the walk appointment at her discretion. She and my pooch got along really well. She also has some experience with dog training which helped because my pooch pulls a lot when I’m walking him. I saw her techniques and she’s good at what she does. Thx Patti!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
