I am currently a student attending Contra Costa College. My morning schedule, I can come in around 9am on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and the weekend. I am typically free daily after 2:15pm and on to take care of your fur babies afternoon or evening needs! I will always let a client know ahead of time whether I have upcoming school projects or whether i’ll be out of town. I believe in strong communication!

For my dogs we live in an area with coyotes so we have high fences and no matter how late we monitor them when they are outside. Our front yard is fenced to avoid our dogs running out into the street however, as extra precaution when guests or visitors are outside they are behind their dog fence. Our dogs are crate trained so not only is it their “safe space” it is their sleep space, it is not used as punishment. Inside they have plush bedding and a water bowl. As for our cat, we had screens on windows to avoid him being outside, if he was outside it was on a cat leash, we took note of all the plants in our house whether they were toxic for our pets and we would spray holistic deterrents for our pets especially the cat.

I want to give you peace of mind so whatever your companion needs or wants i’ll do! I’d like to know about medications and their scheduling, whether that’s an oral, topical, or in their food. I’d like to know if they have anything that affects their day to day or something I have to watch for. I’d rather be safe than sorry nothing is too small or “silly”! I’d also like to know about how they are with new humans! I do not want to stress your friend out with a new person please let me know what they are ok with and what they need boundaries with!

A typical day for any animal I take care of are the basics. Have they been fed? Is their water bowl filled? Have they gone to relieve themselves? Once that is taken care of I make sure any mess that is made from food, litter, has been cleaned up. I like being able to exercise them through playing and will take time to groom them. I have done coconut oil and itch relief “baths” on allergic dogs. I will go through with special dog combs for their coat and undercoat! I will also treat them like a friend! Playing music, talking to them, cuddles!

Longtime pet owner of two wonderful canines and previously a cat. I am extremely patient with all animals big or small, young or senior. I am well past the “squeamish” part of being a pet owner. No task is too much! I can take care of basic needs such as feeding, water, “poo patrol”, grooming, and playing. I am willing to go above and beyond to pamper your companions and give you peace of mind!

Sofia always takes such great care of our cats! She came on short notice to check in on our kitties over the weekend and was attentive and responsive as always. She does great playing with our younger, very active kitty. Thank you, Sofia!

Sofia is an excellent sitter! She took great care of our two kitties and gave the young one lots of playtime. She also took extra care to make sure our older cat wasn’t getting her food stolen. :) Sofia is friendly, professional, and clearly loves animals. She also left us cookies! I highly recommend her.
