I have a B.S. in Animal Biology. I grew up with dogs, hamsters, fish, turtles and chickens. I own three cats currently and cannot wait to get a dog later! I worked in a lab at UC Davis where I cared for aquatic animals (axolotls!!) and I cat sit for friends whenever they are out of town. Growing up with dogs throughout my life, I am well accustomed to their needs. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and an animal hospital where caring for cats and dogs is the name of the game!! I would love to meet your babies and give them the best care.

When in a clients home, I am respectful and take care to leave things as they were or better. I can follow a variety of care schedules, as I have followed specific lab protocols of care in the past and I have experience with my friends varying animal care preferences and needs.

Rachael was great with our guy for a home visit! He can be nervous and reacts by barking a ton when strangers come but she was very patient with him and got him comfortable. She is very responsive and attentive to all our requests.
Rachael did a wonderful job administering Murphys medication on a drop-in basis, especially considering how energetic he can be. Everything went very smoothly and we really appreciate how great you were with him. Thank you for taking care of Murphy!
Rachael was very communicative and proactive, sending us daily pictures and status updates over a ten day stay. Unfortunately our dog was not at her best and exhibited increasingly anxious behavior as the week went on. Rachael made the best she could of a bad situation, sent us a detailed write up of what she noticed, and did a debrief call with us.
So glad to have found Rachel! You can tell she has great animal energy and connected well with my two dogs, both of which have their own quirks. She’s was very communicative, and it gives me such peace of mind knowing my pets are cared for as if they’re her own!
Rachel is great with our dog! He can be nervous about new people but he was very comfortable with her, and she is very attentive to all of our specific instructions about his training plan.

Schedule
I am a Registered Behavioral Technician that goes to clients homes to administer ABA services. I have flexible hours throughout the day between different clients M-F and I have fully open weekends to care for your babies- dog, cat, or both!
