About: I come from parents who did Alaskan dog mushing with over 20 dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have experience with many breeds. I know how to train, help with senior care, and provide any advice you’re looking for. I’m currently working part time, so I can quickly adapt to any pet or house needs you might have. I’m also very physically active so any further exercise is welcome! After growing up with dogs in the Alaskan wilderness surrounded by moose, I definitely have good habits of staying aware of my surroundings. I’ll be able to fully dedicate myself to your requests!

About: Throughout my life, I have never gone a year without living with a dog. I've learned that our canine friends are more patient and forgiving than many people I have run into, and I've learned how to show that same compassion towards them. Spend the time and you can form an unforgettable relationship! I live in El Cerrito near the BART, so I can get around the area fairly quickly! If you are living in a more complex area or farther away, no problem! I have my own vehicle for hard to reach areas. I have a very flexible schedule that allows for almost all hours and days for your convenience! I'm no stranger to unique personalities and specialized care, treatment, and introduction to new pets and realize that each pet has a different way of building trust and accepting care. About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I really enjoy connecting with each dog, getting to know their personalities, taking care of them, and giving them the attention, stimulation, and fun that comes from being together and enjoying the day. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!

About: Lifelong animal lover and shelter volunteer! I have cared for cats and dogs of all kinds but have spent a lot of time specifically with senior animals that need medications and special care. I also have experience with reactive dogs as I have owned one in the past and understand how much work and patience that takes! I will align with your pet's needs and care for them like they're my own! -- My parents got me and my sister a dog when I was only 12 years old. His name was Cookie and he was a Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso mix. Cookie lived to be 18 years old! He only passed away a few years ago and lived a very long and happy life but with his old age, he developed dementia and other ailments that required medications and ointments. I learned so much from having a senior dog and after he passed, I wanted to continue spending time with senior animals and hopefully give them a little more love and happy moments in their last few years. That's how I ended up volunteering at Muttville, a senior dog rescue in San Francisco. My role was to take these grandma and grandpa dogs for walks, give them cuddles and help keep their space clean. As an adult I've had 2 additional dogs-- a Boxer/Pit mix (Muggs) and a Staffy/Shepard mix (Riker). Muggs was an angel and barely needed any training but my second dog, Riker, came with a lot of trauma and reactivity. I did a ton of research to learn how to handle all the anxiety and stress that this poor dog was experiencing. A plastic bag moving in the wind would set him off! After years of training and exposure therapy and anxiety medication, Riker has calmed quite a bit and I'm very proud of the work we did together! Unfortunately, my bigger dogs have also passed. I wish big dogs had the same life expectancy as smaller dogs. Recently, I found out about a housesitting site that would allow me to travel while housesitting for families with pets. I work as a recruiter in tech which gives me a ton of flexibility to work from anywhere. I have housesat for several homes now all over the US and I'm excited to continue my housesitting adventures through Rover as I navigate a career change. My schedule is wide open for your pets! I'm usually an early riser so for any housesitting opportunities, I can match your pet's feeding and walking schedule. I'm used to having a pet so my schedule is very much dictated by the animals I'm watching. I can be flexible so please reach out and I'm happy to accommodate! I have experience with all sorts of animal behaviors. I've had dogs who like to eat rocks, dogs who think everyone and everything is an enemy, dogs who need eye drops every few hours, cats who refuse to leave my lap, and cats who need days to adjust to your presence. I'll align myself to whatever the animal needs in order to feel cared for and safe. I'll also likely ask a lot of questions to understand your pet's needs beforehand.

About: One of my favorite things is to sing and tell stories to cool pets, sometimes a dog or cat dance party will pop up- other times a mellow casual hang is the vibe. Animals can be fickle, I’m there for it. With dog walks, we’ll walk around your area. I love exploring different neighborhoods and it’s even better with a dog friend. Our pets are our worlds! About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.

About: I’ve had experience with dogs and cats I’m very familiar with taking care of them and walking them making sure they are okay and what they need. I am currently a college student i work part time I am available weekdays like Tuesdays through Fridays and weekends from 2pm up until 6pm. I have a yard for my dog and my cats are indoor in which they are used to staying in and as for my dog he only goes to the yard to play and goes right back inside.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience with pitbulls to Portuguese water dogs. Our family will keep your dog engaged and safe! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have plenty of time to take your dog on long walks around our neighborhood. When the whole family is around lots of laughs, chase and fetch will be had. I like to treat your dog the way you treat your dog. If your dog is most comfortable being crated I can easily provide that but if your dog likes to be out and snuggled that can happen too! I do have a fenced yard your dog to roam and explore between walks.
