About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I really enjoy connecting with each dog, getting to know their personalities, taking care of them, and giving them the attention, stimulation, and fun that comes from being together and enjoying the day. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!

About: I come from parents who did Alaskan dog mushing with over 20 dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have experience with many breeds. I know how to train, help with senior care, and provide any advice you’re looking for. I’m currently working part time, so I can quickly adapt to any pet or house needs you might have. I’m also very physically active so any further exercise is welcome! After growing up with dogs in the Alaskan wilderness surrounded by moose, I definitely have good habits of staying aware of my surroundings. I’ll be able to fully dedicate myself to your requests!

About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.

About: Hello, friend!!! I have been housesitting and caring for other's pets, homes, and gardens since my teen years. As a writer I spend a lot of time working from home, meaning that I will largely be available throughout the day to give your pets all the attention they need and ease the discomfort of having their loved one (you!) away for a while. Staying attuned to an animal's needs comes naturally for me as it brings me fulfillment as well. Cats are my absolute favorite - I have had a cat as a companion in every stage of my life and cared for many more. I have cared for many dogs as well, but mostly quieter dogs with a "cat-like" demeanor. I have sensory sensitives so I am unable to care for younger and more energetic dogs that bark a lot. (Barking because excited for certain activities is expected and fine, though). Other pets I have owned and cared for include smaller pets such as goldfish, bearded dragons, hermit crabs, snakes, and tarantulas. I have great respect for what a home means and treat every space I am in with reverence, keeping it clean and cared for. I also have light experience gardening and am comfortable watering a mass of plants! I have housesat several locations that have an entire array of potted plants. I always make sure they are well tended to and kept as lively as ever! A little bit about me - I am a 35 year old writer and performance artist. (They/them pronouns). I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, and attended college in Santa Fe, New Mexico where I received my BA in Creative Writing and Literature. I remained in the beautiful high desert for close to a decade in earlier adulthood. The culture and gorgeous landscapes of both Northern California and New Mexico have deeply informed who I am. I've also worked in childcare and children's entertainment. Being a caretaker has always come naturally to me and often brings me a sense of fulfillment. Some of my favorite activities (other than writing and performing) are hiking, reading, dancing, reading tarot, and making art. Any of my close loved ones will tell you I am a calm, kind, humorous, intelligent, and thoughtful person who approaches all things in life from the heart and with great intention. I can't wait to meet you and give your beloved pets the attention and love they deserve while you go on your next great adventure! Since I mostly work from home writing, pet care easily fits into my daily schedule. Occasionally, I have live performances and community events but when I am needed all day elsewhere I typically know well in advance and can communicate with you effectively to make sure this housesit is still a good fit for both of us and especially your beloved pet! All pet care will take place in your home, so I will keep your pets' routine as stated, ensuring that nothing is disrupted for them aside from your departure. Plants and home will also be cared for as you would care for it. Cleanliness is part of my values, so you can expect your home to be as organized and neat as you left it. I do not do deep cleaning such as vacuuming unless previously negotiated.

About: I’ve had experience with dogs and cats I’m very familiar with taking care of them and walking them making sure they are okay and what they need. I am currently a college student i work part time I am available weekdays like Tuesdays through Fridays and weekends from 2pm up until 6pm. I have a yard for my dog and my cats are indoor in which they are used to staying in and as for my dog he only goes to the yard to play and goes right back inside.

For the past 18 months, I’ve regularly dog sat for my brother‘s dog, handling walks, feeding, and oral medication administration. While cats are my primary focus, I’m happy to help households with both dogs and cats. My schedule is flexible, which means I can usually accommodate, dropping in in the mornings and evenings, longer daytime visits, and last-minute requests. I currently offer overnights on a case-by-case basis Since all visits will take place at your home, your cat will stay in their own familiar environment and have their daily routine with a trusted, experienced person. I am very careful about home security and always double check that doors and windows are locked and secured as instructed and there are no unexpected visitors. I am happy to follow any specific rules you have around gate, screens or access points. I am also happy to bring in mail, water plants, take out trash/recycling, and any other light housework while you’re away. I know how important it is for you to be able to check in while you’re away so I’m happy to provide updates and photos. I know how to spot signs that something is off and needs attention, and will get in touch with you right away.

About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, growing up with three Australian cattle dogs and taking care of my friends’ and family’s pets throughout the years. These have ranged from chihuahuas to golden retrievers to shiba inus, all of varying ages and energy levels. I work remotely from home, which offers me plenty of flexibility. I am mostly available in the afternoons and evenings during the week and during the day on weekends. I do not offer boarding at my place but can do drop ins at yours!
