“Sophie is is my go to cat sitter forever 😻! She went WAY above and beyond to care for my kitty Amina. We moved to a new home 3 weeks before my vacation and Amina was still getting acclimated (she is a rescue kitty with anxiety/separation/abandonment issues). A housemate left a window open and Amina escaped. Sophie located her in a neighbor’s yard and spent hours trying to lure her home. She did the same thing on day 2 even though I booked only 30 minute visits each day. She was in regular contact with pictures and updates, thoroughly committed to Amina’s well being and my peace of mind. I came home early; it was clear from the look on Amina’s face that she needed me to feel safe/secure enough to come back to our new home. When I arrived, there was Amina in the driveway waiting for me! She came into the house right away and I believe that was due to Sophie spending so much time with her on her great outdoor adventure. I am so grateful to Sophie for her compassion, dedication, professionalism and love. I highly recommend Sophie to anyone looking for a new sitter, and she will always be our #1 go to pet sitter!”

About: I have experience taking care of pets of many sizes and kinds. I have a lovely 8yo child who is very gentle and respectfull with animals. I work part time, usually out of home for about 2 to 4 hours per day. We take our fur guests to walks and dog Parks. I have a fenced yard and only out of home for about 2 to 4 hours a day. Your fur baby will get lots of attention.

For in-house sitting, I do ask for some flexibility in my schedule—while I’ll spend quality time with your pet, I may need to step out for a few hours during the day. I’m also not able to take on pets with aggressive behavior or destructive tendencies, as I want to ensure a safe, low-stress experience for everyone involved. If caring for pets in my own home, I create a welcoming environment with a safe, cozy area for rest and engaging spaces for play, ensuring they feel right at home.

About: While I have been a life-long pet lover, I have raised, trained and cared for our sweet goldendoodle for over 4 years. I have also walked, fed and bathed the pets of many family members and friends. I am a stay-at-home mama to a fun 3 year old son and our 4 year old golden doodle, so my day is naturally built around at least 2 walks (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon), meal times and naps. While at home, our babies get plenty of love and play and your pet will be no exception! I have a small fenced in yard that my dog and yours will love to lounge and play around in. Our home also sits on a quiet street close to walking trails with very little traffic, it’s very peaceful and easy to ensure that your furbaby gets any exercise needed.
