Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. About: I have had dogs in my house my whole life. Wether that be family pet dogs, friends dogs or foster dogs. I have always enjoyed taking care and providing a comfortable space for them I'm currently unemployed and will have lots of time to look after your pet. I like to get out at least 1-2 times a day for a walk and take breaks where I can play with your dog if they want I have a yellow lab named gertie who is very friendly and gentle with other dogs. About: For boarding, my house as a large yard for any dog to run around in. For walking, I likely spoil any dog with treats if allowed Currently as I look for new job opportunities, I am available most days to look after your dog. I have a fairly flexible with my schedule and able to pick up and drop-off if nearby. I have a 45lb german shephard that is calm when indoors. She asked questions about my dog and was interested in getting to know her and care for her right. I believe her experience in working at shelters is an asset and help her in understanding dogs behavior and making them feel comfortable and cared for. About: I’ve had 2 dogs from puppy through adulthood over the last 20 years and have given tens of thousands of walks. Charlie was a stubborn and happy Basset Hound, and Teddy was a big, lovable, and strong Great Pyrenees who unfortunately passed early last year. I have plenty of time to take your dog on long walks around our neighborhood. When the whole family is around lots of laughs, chase and fetch will be had. About: Longtime pet owner of two wonderful canines and previously a cat. I am extremely patient with all animals big or small, young or senior. I am well past the “squeamish” part of being a pet owner. No task is too much! I can take care of basic needs such as feeding, water, “poo patrol”, grooming, and playing. I am willing to go above and beyond to pamper your companions and give you peace of mind! I am currently a student attending Contra Costa College. My morning schedule, I can come in around 9am on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and the weekend. I am typically free daily after 2:15pm and on to take care of your fur babies afternoon or evening needs! I will always let a client know ahead of time whether I have upcoming school projects or whether i’ll be out of town. I believe in strong communication! For my dogs we live in an area with coyotes so we have high fences and no matter how late we monitor them when they are outside. Our front yard is fenced to avoid our dogs running out into the street however, as extra precaution when guests or visitors are outside they are behind their dog fence. Our dogs are crate trained so not only is it their “safe space” it is their sleep space, it is not used as punishment. Inside they have plush bedding and a water bowl. As for our cat, we had screens on windows to avoid him being outside, if he was outside it was on a cat leash, we took note of all the plants in our house whether they were toxic for our pets and we would spray holistic deterrents for our pets especially the cat.

About: I’ve had experience with dogs and cats I’m very familiar with taking care of them and walking them making sure they are okay and what they need. I am currently a college student i work part time I am available weekdays like Tuesdays through Fridays and weekends from 2pm up until 6pm. I have a yard for my dog and my cats are indoor in which they are used to staying in and as for my dog he only goes to the yard to play and goes right back inside.

About: I have always enjoyed being around animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I worked at a pet care facility for over a year, where I gained hands-on experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, cats, and multiple pets at the same time. I also learned how to give medications, trim nails, bathe pets, and follow different feeding, walking, and care routines. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. Some pets may want lots of playtime and attention, while others need extra patience and time to feel comfortable. I offer drop-in visits, overnight stays, and long-term care when needed. I will treat your pets with the same kindness and attention I would give my own, while keeping you updated so you can feel comfortable while you are away. I am currently working part time and have availability at all times of the week. My week to week is adaptive based off of pets that I care for that week, my work schedule is very flexible and can move around when needed! At my home, pets have access to a fully fenced yard where they can safely enjoy supervised outdoor time. I also have a large SUV, so I can comfortably transport pets of different sizes for walks, park visits, or other approved activities. I live in a safe, centrally located neighborhood that is great for everyday walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am respectful of both the home and the pet’s normal routine. I understand that every animal has different feeding schedules, exercise needs, comfort levels, and household rules, so I pay close attention to all instructions. My goal is to help your pet feel as safe, relaxed, and comfortable as possible while you are away. I am also happy to send as many photo and video updates as you would like, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is being well cared for.

Mollie is a rescue pup who takes time to warm up to new people and surroundings, but Julie and Adam did a great job making her comfortable and engaging Mollie in activities. Mollie is a half Husky so she does need lots of exercise and activity. We will be having Molly stay again with Julie and Adam as when we picked her up we could tell that Molly felt very much at home!”

About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house I share with my girlfriend with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. Two bedrooms are unoccupied so I have plenty of space available and also live near point Isabel.
