About: My experience caring for animals goes back to childhood. At 13, I had my own horse in the Oakland Hills, and my first job was caring for horses at the stable to help pay for his board. Animals have been an important part of my life ever since. Years later, my Australian Cattle Dog, Taz, became one of my greatest teachers. About: I didn't always love cats. I had the same misconceptions that many people do that all cats are mean and aloof. So untrue! My sister got a cat about 8 years ago. A flame point siamese cat names Remy. I learned quickly that cats can actually be so fun and silly! This cat is so talkative and will let you know if he needs something. She got a second cat shortly after and this one was so shy that I never saw her around much the first couple years but she comes and sits by me all the time since then and I was so excited to have earned her trust. Since learning so much more about cats, I understand so much more about how particular each cat is, how much their personalities differ, how important routine is for them and how different training is for cats as opposed to dogs. I have housesat for many cats now and have met cats that won't leave my side and others that like their own space.

About: I've known cats and cats have known me for as long as I can remember. Before I could speak I interacted with my parents' two wise cats Nene and Nika who both lived until the age of 23 and 24! I grew up with our new kitty, Yuzu, through kittenhood and all the responsibility that came with that. About: Hi there! 🐾 I’ve always been a pet owner, and dogs have truly been a huge part of my life. Our beloved Gucci recently crossed the rainbow bridge at 16 years old on August 18, 2026. We were so lucky to have had such a long and beautiful life with him, but we miss him dearly. I’ve never understood why our furry friends get such a short time with us. My Chihuahua, my first baby, lived to be 18 years old and had the amazing experience of living on both the East and West Coasts. Our Gucci followed, giving us 16 wonderful years of memories. Now we have our youngest, Rocky, a sweet 14-year-old Miniature Pinscher who is very chill and would absolutely love having some furry friends around. Rocky enjoys sleeping in, relaxing on the couch like a cat, and hanging out in his cozy bed. He’s very easygoing and happy to share his space with other friendly dogs. We also have a toddler who has been around dogs since birth and absolutely adores animals. About: I’ve had experience with dogs and cats I’m very familiar with taking care of them and walking them making sure they are okay and what they need. I am currently a college student i work part time I am available weekdays like Tuesdays through Fridays and weekends from 2pm up until 6pm. I have a yard for my dog and my cats are indoor in which they are used to staying in and as for my dog he only goes to the yard to play and goes right back inside.
About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I really enjoy connecting with each dog, getting to know their personalities, taking care of them, and giving them the attention, stimulation, and fun that comes from being together and enjoying the day. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!

About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, growing up with three Australian cattle dogs and taking care of my friends’ and family’s pets throughout the years. These have ranged from chihuahuas to golden retrievers to shiba inus, all of varying ages and energy levels. I work remotely from home, which offers me plenty of flexibility. I am mostly available in the afternoons and evenings during the week and during the day on weekends. I do not offer boarding at my place but can do drop ins at yours! I will always be respectful and mindful of property and privacy.

About: My experience caring for animals goes back to childhood. At 13, I had my own horse in the Oakland Hills, and my first job was caring for horses at the stable to help pay for his board. Animals have been an important part of my life ever since. Years later, my Australian Cattle Dog, Taz, became one of my greatest teachers. He came to me as a highly reactive rescue, and I developed a structured behavior-modification plan using positive reinforcement, consistency, exercise, and careful attention to his triggers. With patience and years of dedicated training, he made tremendous progress and went on to live a long, happy, and deeply loved life. That experience gave me a strong understanding of canine body language, behavior, enrichment, and the importance of structure and trust. I’m comfortable with senior dogs, rescue dogs, high-energy breeds, and dogs who may need some extra patience. I know that every dog is an individual, and I take the time to understand their personality, routines, boundaries, and quirks. I’m also a professional artist, and animals are a big part of my creative work—I especially love drawing pet portraits and caricatures. Working independently gives me flexibility in my schedule and allows me to give the animals in my care focused attention. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or pet sitting, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, engaged, and genuinely cared for. I take the responsibility of looking after someone else’s animal seriously, while making sure we have some fun along the way. My workday schedule is very flexible with ample opportunity for several short walks around the neighborhood throughout the day. I live in a 6 bedroom home in North Berkeley, an established grouphouse with 4 other folks in their late 20s. We have a peaceful, fun and stress free home. I have a fenced front hard with enough room for zoomies and easy access for potty breaks. I have a large sunny back deck for dog sunbathing. I also have a working fireplace for warming up the paws during the cold/rainy season. My housemates are great with animals and provide additional attention, pets and socialization (2 work from home, 2 work out of the home).
