Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I really enjoy connecting with each dog, getting to know their personalities, taking care of them, and giving them the attention, stimulation, and fun that comes from being together and enjoying the day. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!
About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since childhood and deeply love connecting with animals. I supported my last dog through her later years and have sensitivity to the needs of elder puppies. I also enjoy the energy of younger dogs and live right near San Pablo park for dogs who like to socialize. I mostly work from home with occasional in person meetings during the week. I am available for pet care throughout the week and can let dogs out to the back yard throughout the day. I live in a quiet but lively neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and sniff. About: I work for a professional dog service that's been open 10+ years with a private dog park. I'm looking for extra work other then working at the dog park. I also do two dog pack walks after the park with the dogs that cannot go to the due to a variety of issues including aggression and/or anxiety. Whenever there is an issue I am the go to for these dogs who love me with all their heart and I in return. Currently work from 9am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm as a dog handler so I am available for afternoon/evenings. I am also free on the weekends. I have a three bedroom house with a large backyard with tall wooden fences and a chain link fence to access it. About: Hi there! 🐾 I’ve always been a pet owner, and dogs have truly been a huge part of my life. Our beloved Gucci recently crossed the rainbow bridge at 16 years old on August 18, 2026. We were so lucky to have had such a long and beautiful life with him, but we miss him dearly. I’ve never understood why our furry friends get such a short time with us. All I know is that they are here to teach us one of the greatest lessons: unconditional love. ❤️ I’ve had three little dogs throughout my life. My Chihuahua, my first baby, lived to be 18 years old and had the amazing experience of living on both the East and West Coasts. Our Gucci followed, giving us 16 wonderful years of memories. Now we have our youngest, Rocky, a sweet 14-year-old Miniature Pinscher who is very chill and would absolutely love having some furry friends around. Rocky enjoys sleeping in, relaxing on the couch like a cat, and hanging out in his cozy bed. He’s very easygoing and happy to share his space with other friendly dogs. We also have a toddler who has been around dogs since birth and absolutely adores animals. Because of this, our home is a kid-friendly environment, and I’m happy to welcome dogs who are comfortable around children. Your fur baby would receive plenty of love, attention, cuddles, and care while staying with us. My husband is also the sweetest with dogs—no matter their size, somehow he always manages to carry them like a baby and give them lots of snuggles! 🥰 We live in Albany in a lovely area close to grassy spaces for walks, and we also have a dog park nearby. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience with pitbulls to Portuguese water dogs. Our family will keep your dog engaged and safe! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have plenty of time to take your dog on long walks around our neighborhood. When the whole family is around lots of laughs, chase and fetch will be had. I like to treat your dog the way you treat your dog. If your dog is most comfortable being crated I can easily provide that but if your dog likes to be out and snuggled that can happen too! I do have a fenced yard your dog to roam and explore between walks.

I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!
About: Longtime pet owner of two wonderful canines and previously a cat. I am extremely patient with all animals big or small, young or senior. I am well past the “squeamish” part of being a pet owner. No task is too much! I can take care of basic needs such as feeding, water, “poo patrol”, grooming, and playing. I am willing to go above and beyond to pamper your companions and give you peace of mind! I am currently a student attending Contra Costa College. My morning schedule, I can come in around 9am on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and the weekend. I am typically free daily after 2:15pm and on to take care of your fur babies afternoon or evening needs! I will always let a client know ahead of time whether I have upcoming school projects or whether i’ll be out of town. I believe in strong communication! For my dogs we live in an area with coyotes so we have high fences and no matter how late we monitor them when they are outside. Our front yard is fenced to avoid our dogs running out into the street however, as extra precaution when guests or visitors are outside they are behind their dog fence. Our dogs are crate trained so not only is it their “safe space” it is their sleep space, it is not used as punishment. Inside they have plush bedding and a water bowl. As for our cat, we had screens on windows to avoid him being outside, if he was outside it was on a cat leash, we took note of all the plants in our house whether they were toxic for our pets and we would spray holistic deterrents for our pets especially the cat.

About: I’ve had experience with dogs and cats I’m very familiar with taking care of them and walking them making sure they are okay and what they need. I am currently a college student i work part time I am available weekdays like Tuesdays through Fridays and weekends from 2pm up until 6pm. I have a yard for my dog and my cats are indoor in which they are used to staying in and as for my dog he only goes to the yard to play and goes right back inside.
About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, growing up with three Australian cattle dogs and taking care of my friends’ and family’s pets throughout the years. These have ranged from chihuahuas to golden retrievers to shiba inus, all of varying ages and energy levels. I work remotely from home, which offers me plenty of flexibility. I am mostly available in the afternoons and evenings during the week and during the day on weekends. I do not offer boarding at my place but can do drop ins at yours! About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since childhood and deeply love connecting with animals. I supported my last dog through her later years and have sensitivity to the needs of elder puppies. I also enjoy the energy of younger dogs and live right near San Pablo park for dogs who like to socialize. I mostly work from home with occasional in person meetings during the week. I am available for pet care throughout the week and can let dogs out to the back yard throughout the day. I live in a quiet but lively neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and sniff. The back yard is fenced in and allows space to lounge in the sun. There are no other pets or humans currently in the house so it is very peaceful and quiet most of the time. I don't take dogs from more than one household at a time. I check in on the pets I care for regularly and track their emotional as well as physical needs, giving pets and butt scratches often!
