“Missy has been walking my dog for about half a year now. She has been more than wonderful. My dog is not an easy dog. She's also very skittish around new people. Missy was able to work with her and transitioned well. Now my dog gets excited and happy every time she sees her. Missy is very attentive and follow instructions very well. She asked questions about my dog and was interested in getting to know her and care for her right. I believe her experience in working at shelters is an asset and help her in understanding dogs behavior and making them feel comfortable and cared for. She's also very on time, reliable, and responsible. All in all, I can't recommend her enough. She's just awesome!”

“Josephine is the BEST. She is perfect in every way - competent, caring, kind, friendly, nice, responsible, and Teddy Bear lover her so much. He waits at the door and cries for her when she is getting out of her car. I highly recommend Josephine. Thank you Jojo!!!!!”

“DJ has provided top-notch help in a time when we need some extra hands to take care of our fur baby the way he deserves. She has been kind, conscientious, flexible, and responsive. We highly recommend DJ!”

“Lexx made time to do a meet and greet with Panda on a Friday evening and was great working with her (even though Panda tends to be barky and anxious). She followed our instructions and left a detailed description of her walk! Would definitely recommend Lexx!”

About: Hi, I’m Aurelia! I’m dedicated to sharing in the joy, fun, cuddles, walking, and love of all the dogs and cats I can find (and who find me)! Growing up with dogs and cats at home, I have always loved being around animals. My two dogs have been a German Shepherd mix (Bela) and a miniature poodle (Linzee) so I have lived with and know how to care for large and small dogs! I grew up with two cats, Slate and Pippin. I currently have my own kitty, Thomas. I love dog walking, and I always make sure there is lots of play. Your dog and/or cat will be lovingly cared for and have a super fun time! I look forward to meeting you and your pet :) 🐶 🐈 🩷 *NOTE: I am only available to do overnight stays for no more than one week at a time. Thank you! I’m currently between jobs (most recently worked for Kaiser Permanente) so I have lots of time to dedicate to your dog or cat, and house-sit if needed! I take house and pet instructions to heart, and make sure I have everything I need to be able to give the best care possible.
“Sheryl has been an excellent dog walker and caregiver to our sweet Luna. She was always willing to accommodate our last-minute changes, and she would promptly reply to these requests. I recommend her highly!”
“Debi was amazing. She jumped into action only minutes after my request for help. I could not have asked for a better walker and caretaker for my pup. Thanks for going above and beyond the call of duty.”

“Rebecca was great. My 11yr old pup doesnt always want to wak in the evening, so she sat with him on the front porch so he could sniff the air and take in the view as he likes to do. Will rebook.”

About: Longtime pet owner of two wonderful canines and previously a cat. I am extremely patient with all animals big or small, young or senior. I am well past the “squeamish” part of being a pet owner. No task is too much! I can take care of basic needs such as feeding, water, “poo patrol”, grooming, and playing. I am willing to go above and beyond to pamper your companions and give you peace of mind! I am currently a student attending Contra Costa College. My morning schedule, I can come in around 9am on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and the weekend. I am typically free daily after 2:15pm and on to take care of your fur babies afternoon or evening needs! I will always let a client know ahead of time whether I have upcoming school projects or whether i’ll be out of town. I believe in strong communication! For my dogs we live in an area with coyotes so we have high fences and no matter how late we monitor them when they are outside. Our front yard is fenced to avoid our dogs running out into the street however, as extra precaution when guests or visitors are outside they are behind their dog fence. Our dogs are crate trained so not only is it their “safe space” it is their sleep space, it is not used as punishment. Inside they have plush bedding and a water bowl. As for our cat, we had screens on windows to avoid him being outside, if he was outside it was on a cat leash, we took note of all the plants in our house whether they were toxic for our pets and we would spray holistic deterrents for our pets especially the cat.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience with pitbulls to Portuguese water dogs. Our family will keep your dog engaged and safe! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have plenty of time to take your dog on long walks around our neighborhood. When the whole family is around lots of laughs, chase and fetch will be had. I like to treat your dog the way you treat your dog. If your dog is most comfortable being crated I can easily provide that but if your dog likes to be out and snuggled that can happen too! I do have a fenced yard your dog to roam and explore between walks.

About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I really enjoy connecting with each dog, getting to know their personalities, taking care of them, and giving them the attention, stimulation, and fun that comes from being together and enjoying the day. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!

About: I grew up around dogs and have a way with them. I work in the field of rescue and rehabilitation by profession, which takes me around the globe working with endangered species. Whenever I am home between contracts I love picking up any kind of work I can get with dogs! I have just finished a year in West Africa with chimpanzees and before that I was in Borneo rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing orangutans. I've worked with elephants in the same capacity in Sri Lanka, Zambia, Cambodia and Thailand, and with primates in Indonesia and Africa. I love animals and care deeply about them. I bring great amounts of attentiveness, patience and experience to this work and can work with any behavioral issue! The pets I care for relieve themselves when they wake and before they go to bed, they get exercised morning and evening, and get fed twice a day unless their owner specifies otherwise. They get plenty of love, affection and guidance! When I have a pet to care for their needs come first and foremost. With over a decade of experience rehabilitating and being a caregiver for all sorts of animals, I am keenly in tune with their well being and their needs. Whether they desire attention, want to relieve themselves, get exercise, or just have fun, I can tell and will provide them with all that they need, including unconditional love!
“Gail, cared for my 2 fur babies! So I could visit my kids for Christmas, my flight was canceled and I was not able to return home for another four days . My mind was at ease as I was unable to get home and working remotely , she took care of them on a moments notice. Thank you Gail for everything!! Happy New Year !!!”
“My rescue dog is anxious with new people and Isabella was fantastic. Isabella was kind and caring and coached our dog to walk with her successfully. Isabella was also responsible, on time and provided lovely long walks.”

Donovan provided excellent care for my large reactive husky. He is personable, punctual and responsive to messaging. My dog Tiba absolutely loved going on walks/jogs with him. His track and field background is perfect to meet the level of activity my working dog craves. Thanks again for helping me and my dad out while I was away. -Diana

Derek established a great rapport with my NOT-easy dog. This was his second visit - we're working up to a longer house sit. Derek asked many thoughtful questions each time to learn about Diego's behavior and knowledge, he observed a lot whlle walking with him and took some videos, and reported back what he experienced. Clearly very dog savvy, careful, caring and responsible with the more challening temperaments in the canine world!

Beverly was great with walking my pup (6-year-old but still a pup). She communicated very well, assuring me that she got into the home, that the pup greeted her, and that their walk went well. Beverly also took the time to share observations on the pup - like her fascination with birds and leaves. The experience went so well we have already booked again.

We were is lucky to find Sara! She was very communicative and took such care with our elderly dog. She was quick to notice little changes in his routine and point them out to us, which were very helpful in keeping him in good health. She was flexible to his needs. Sara gave us great piece of mind when we had to leave him alone during the day -even on days when he wasn't feeling his best. So thankful!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
