âWe feel like we hit the jackpot finding John to be our regular walker. He treats our dog just like we do (and talks to our dog just like we do too, which if youâre a pet owner, you know is the sign of a good caretaker). Our dog absolutely loves him and even though we unfortunately donât need a daily walker right now, we are still asking John to keep walking our dog every week because we donât want to lose him!â

About: I believe dogs and cats have a way of communicating, and Iâve learned to understand them deeply, creating a truly rewarding connection. I can read their subtle cues and know exactly what they need. Iâm partially retired, and because I love dogs, caring for them fits perfectly into my daily routine. This opportunity allows me to spend quality time with your four-legged family member while helping you with their care on a temporary basis. I have owned my home for the last 20 years and have been an active member of my HOA board, even leading the security committee for several yearsâdemonstrating my commitment to a safe, secure environment. Additionally, I rescued and cared for a 10-pound Pomeranian in my condo for six wonderful years, ensuring his well-being daily. These experiences reflect my dedication to responsible care and vigilanceâqualities I bring to any dog walking service.
About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.
âLaura was a reliable, kind, and communicative. She provided detailed updates which were especially important because our dog had some health issues. She also sent the best photos! We will definitely be re-booking Laura!â
âJazminn is great! Rilo has so much fun on her walks. I really appreciate how well Jazminn communicates. Her updates are helpful in that she lets me know if she and Rilo need anything for the walks. I really appreciate that. I feel very secure in knowing that my senior pup Rilo is in experienced hands.â

âBecca is awesome! I really appreciate her flexibility in our schedule and her reliable communication! On dog walking days she always sends pictures and a report card so I know how my pup did. On the days we come home after our dog has been on a walk with Becca he is always so happy and relaxed! I would totally recommend her services!â

About: Iâve cared for my dog and cats since they were little. I pay close attention to body languages to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Iâm also experienced with taking care of small pets including chinchilla and guinea pig. I have a flexible schedule and can usually accommodate your needs, stopping by to feed, play with, and care for your pets. Iâm also available on weekends and holidays. Iâm happy to care for your pets at your home, but Iâm currently unable to host pets at mine due to having my own pets.
About: Iâve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldnât bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so Iâd love to do some dog-related work in my free time. Iâm happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. Iâve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. Iâm very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, Iâm usually out for 2â4 hours a day, but Iâm home all day on weekends. During my free time, Iâm happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydratedâespecially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5â10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2â3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they donât eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, theyâre welcome to join me too.
About: Dogs are a part of my life. I have a long history of pet sitting, training, and caretaking for other people's pets. We have had dogs and cats all of my life. But dogs are my favorite and I can't wait to have another dog of my own. I am currently working sporadically, so I am extremely flexible. I am available 7 days a week and am available later in the evening, too. I currently will have to come to your home to care for your pet. I am happy to take them for a walk or stay with them while you are away. I am engaging and intuitive, attending to their needs. You guide me on how you want your pup to interact with me in the home. I am here to help you and your fur family.
âSandee Is absolutely amazing and I'm so happy I found her. She responded right away was right on time and my dog absolutely loved her. Will definitely use her again.â

About: I will care and love for your dog just as much as you do. I've done occasional dog sitting over the last couple of years, and I always have such a great time with the dogs that I care for. I'm often called a dog whisperer because most dogs just gravitate towards me. I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment so having the opportunity to care for yours would be amazing. I love the pureness, and sincerity of a dog's character. I understand that your pet is family, and I will always treat them as such, their care is of the utmost importance to me. (However ,for the time being I can provide part-time care for your loved one )

âSam was great! It takes a lot to manage two dogs at once especially when oneâs an Irish wolfhound & the otherâs a 7 month old puppy. They were no problem for him. Sam arrived on time to every walk & communicated any necessary changes with plenty of advance notice. He was even kind enough to accommodate an oversight on my part. Iâd definitely book with him again.â

Iâd love to get to know you and your pet! I am currently available anytime during the week & weekend to take care of your pup! About: Iâve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a cat at home, often helped friends and neighbors with their pets, and for the past 10 years Iâve shared my life with two amazing Siberian huskies â one now a wise senior and her playful younger sister. Living with them has taught me patience, consistency, and just how much love pets bring into our lives. Iâll treat your furry family like my own, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy while youâre away. I work hybrid and can be remote when needed, so Iâm available most weekday evenings, a few weekdays during the day, and on weekends when Iâm not traveling. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by keeping their routines consistent and giving them plenty of attention. In a clientâs home, I respect the space, follow all instructions closely, and make sure pets have everything they need â from fresh water and food to playtime and walks. My goal is always to create a calm, trusting environment so pets feel happy and secure.
About: I provide calm, attentive care with a focus on routine and safety. I understand that every dog is different, and I aim to keep their environment steady and comfortable while youâre away. David is an amazing dog walker. Heâs incredibly attentive and patient with my nervous, shy dog, and she absolutely adores him. Itâs clear he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with, and I feel completely at ease knowing sheâs in such good hands. Highly recommend!

Derek is gentle, calm, and incredibly caring with my very shy, easily spooked dogs. My dog, Carter; warmed up to him quickly, and she looks happy and relaxed during their walks. My biggest priority is safety and making sure Carterâs boundaries are respected â she does not like unfamiliar people or dogs touching/approaching her. Derek truly cares about making my dogs feel comfortable.

I am very happy to have found Chloe on Rover. She's a super nice person, and my dog, Raffi, is in love with her. She's helped me out for 2 weeks, and she's been on time every day, gives good long walks, and always gives me a heads up when she's on her way. She's also flexible when I had to make some last minute changes in schedule. I highly recommend her for your dog walking needs. MY dog will miss her!
Laura is awesome! She pays close attention to our reactive pup's cues and works to stay within her comfort zone to have a successful walk. Laura also has super communication, sending detailed updates and walk reports. We're so grateful for her reliable care!
