“Danielle is so patient with our new pup! He had an accident and she gave him a belly band with no issues at all. They took him to the beach for his one night stay this time. Chili loves Danielle and her fam!”

“Marlene and her family were absolutely amazing! We left Bean with them for 12 days while we were out of the country, and had such peace of mind knowing how lovingly he was being cared for. They sent regular updates and we could tell Bean was genuinely happy being with them. He grew very attached and close to them. We will definitely reach out to Marlene to care for Bean again.”

“Sherry is an AMAZING dog sitter!! I trusted her to care for my sweet but nervous 50lb girl, Ellie, and I could not have asked for a better sitter. Sherry was so thorough, she sent plenty of updates throughout and put me at ease! She was super responsive to my dog’s needs, and I could see Ellie just melting and falling in love with her through the updates. She’s got a lovely, clean and safe apartment and she is obviously someone who knows dogs well. I would trust Sherry with dog sitting ANY day! Highly recommend.”

“It was our first time rover-ing with our new dog so we were a little nervous but they took great care of Francine! It’s clear that they are dog lovers and made Francine feel right at home. We got a ton of pictures and they even helped coordinate pick up with a friend of ours while we were still out of town. Highly recommend!”

“I had a very positive experience with Chen boarding my pup Bernie for a few days. Bernie is a well behaved dog, but he has a few needs that Chen took on willingly. He also took the time to meet with me and Bernie ahead to make sure all his needs were understood. It is clear to me that Chen loves pets and treats them with care. He sent me many updates reflecting his attention to Bernie's comfort and sense of feeling at home and with family. He also sent many stellar photos. Chen has a real talent there and I think also shows his adoration of the pets he cares for. Chen and his family were kind and warm to me and to Bernie and I reccomend him for you.”

About: Hey there! 🐾 My Wi-Fi name is "House of Dogues". That probably tells you everything you need to know about me. I've been around pups my whole life: walks, sits, feedings, bath time, you name it. Friends, family, neighbors have all trusted me with their fur babies, and I take that seriously. But also I make it really fun. Here's what makes me a little different: I follow the dog's lead. Some pups want a big adventure. Others want a slow sniff-everything kind of walk (honestly iconic). On our walks, they pick the route. I'm just happy to be invited. I also put together little enrichment activities because a stimulated dog is a happy dog, and yes, I talk to them like they understand everything I'm saying, because they do. I'm a big dog park person too, but I'm picky about it in the best way. I stick to parks where I already know the people and the dogs, so I know exactly what kind of environment your pup is walking into. No surprises, just good socialization with faces I trust. When your dog stays with me, they get a whole day tailored to their vibe: cozy, active, or somewhere in between. And you? You'll get so many photo and video updates you might actually forget you miss them. Might. At home I live with Totó, my shichihuahua who is fully convinced he runs this household (he does). He's taught me everything about big personality in a small body, and he's an excellent host. I have a special soft spot for senior dogs. I know how to give them the patience, gentleness, and extra love they deserve. My clients always say the same two things: they got way more updates than they expected, and they finally felt okay leaving their dog with someone. That's the whole goal. 🐶 I work remotely, which means I'm home most of the day and genuinely available, no scrambling, no rushing. Midday walk? Morning sit? Last-minute check-in? I can make it work. Pet care isn't something I squeeze into my routine, it basically IS my routine. Your dog will never feel like an afterthought. Safety is everything to me, and so is making sure your pet actually enjoys their time. In your home, I follow your instructions closely, keep things clean and consistent, and make sure your pup always has water, food, and lots of love. On walks, I stick to routes and parks I know well, with dogs and people I already trust. No random off-leash situations, no surprises. At my place, it's calm, cozy, and very much a dog household (my Wi-Fi is literally called "House of Dogs"). Totó, my shichihuahua, is a great host as long as you respect that he's in charge.

“Latricia kept my 2 dogs for 4 days. She checked in with me regularly and sent pictures throughout the day. My dogs were well taken care of and I could tell that they enjoyed themselves. They didn't want to leave when it was time to go. I will definitely be leaving my boys with Latricia again.”

“Mariola is amazing! Super responsive, kind and knowledgeable about dogs! Our dog Luna really enjoyed her stay with Mariola and we are definitely going to book her again next time we need someone to take care of Luna while we are away.”

“Christine went above and beyond to take great care of our dog! Buca had a great time and came home happy and healthy after staying with Christine. We will definitely be reaching out again for future visits.”

“Len was fantastic! He took care of our pup Wisco after our last minute change of travel plans for 4th of July weekend. Our dog is older, had just started some medication, and also is afraid of fireworks (so not ideal to be away from home during 4th of July). That said, Len made sure to understand her sensitivities so he could create an environment where she felt safe/comfortable given the holiday weekend. He shared the cutest photos of her while we were away, and we came to a very happy dog. Would absolutely book with Len again.”

“Niyuan is an excellent pet sitter. Very responsible and reliable, and she communicated clearly and consistently the entire time. She kept detailed records of feeding and care, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I really appreciated how she maintained open communication throughout, always keeping me updated. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and attentive sitter.”

“Rob was a fantastic host to my shy/reserved dog Nico. I was sent updates, photos, and was reassured about how well he was doing as it was Nico's first time boarding.”

“Hope was recommended to us by another great Rover sitter, and we are really grateful. Hope is so friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. She made Coconut comfortable immediately. Her little dog Rocky is adorable and super friendly. Coconut loved going for walks and playing with Rocky's toys. Hope was great with sending text updates as well as photos and videos. Here's hoping Hope doesn't get too busy to have room for Coconut the next time we need her!”

“Stephanie is an incredible sitter who continues to play a big role in Otis’s development. After a stay with her pack, Otis always returns happy and well-socialized. She provides thoughtful, consistent updates that make us feel connected and reassured while we’re away - even continuing his learning by incorporating some of his latest training and commands. It’s clear she genuinely cares about Otis and tailors each stay to support his growth and happiness. We’re so thankful!”

“Nikita & Anthony are amazing dog sitters. I trusted them completely to take care of my older dog while I was out of town. Really sweet people and excellent communication- clearly dog lovers. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Madeleine was great with my dog Julio! She took our very last minute request and was very responsive. She gave updates and photos each day, which put me at ease since Julio is a high anxiety dog. I would definitely book her again!”

“Banksy had a wonderful time with Claudio! Claudio is kind, caring, and really listened when I dropped Banksy off for his first time with him. Banksy seemed really comfortable, and was relaxed and happy when I came to pick him up. He'll definitely be back with Claudio the next time we have to go out of town without him!”

“Alisson was amazing with my cat, Taylor! She was incredibly attentive to Taylor's needs and made sure she was well cared for while I was away. She sent plenty of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was clear Taylor received lots of pets, love, and treats. I truly couldn't have asked for a better person to trust with my cat. I highly recommend Alisson to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!”

About: I have been around cats my whole life and currently care for my own two indoor cats. I understand that cats thrive on routine and need specialized attention, whether they love to play or prefer their own space. I am dedicated to keeping your cats safe, well-fed, and loved during my visits, giving you complete peace of mind.

About: I've always been around both dogs and cats and love them both equally. I know cats usually need a little more space to open up to new people. I provide calm and gentle companionship and let them set their boundaries.

About: I grew up in a family where everyone loves cats. We have always had cats in our home, and they have been a significant part of my life. I have experience caring for cats, administering medication, and cleaning their litter. I really enjoy being around cats and have a strong affection for them.
“Lucas was wonderful and incredibly accommodating for a last minute urgent booking. He spent extra time with the pets and kept me well updated :) my go-to catsitter from now on,”

“Jes was great with our cat. He is reliable and responsive. He clearly knows cats and how to win them over. He sent pictures and descriptions of his interactions our cat, Cosmo, each visit. I felt like Cosmo was well taken care of. I hope to be able to book him next time we go away. Highly recommend.”

About: I am a proud cat dad. I rescued my 2 cats when they were 2 months old. My cats have taught me that each cat has their own personality and I enjoy taking the time to learn their preferences and earn their trust. Whether your cat loves to play or relax, I am excited to work with them.

“Joyce is great! She took care of my cat Santana (aka Tana) while I was away for the weekend. She takes the best pictures and I appreciated being kept up to date on how Tana was doing throughout the weekend. Even though Tana is shy and skittish she warmed up to Joyce and she seemed very happy and content when I returned! I would definitely use Joyce’s services again. Thank you so much!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of my fur baby! I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing he was in get care. I loved getting pictures and a report while away. Thank you, Shirley!!!”

“Great cat sitter! Friendly and reliable. Checked in on the app to let us know she was with the cats. And sent photos. Seems to really enjoy it! Thank you Shelly”
“Gretchen did great checking on my kitties! She left them treats and left me a super detailed note on how they were during her check in. I look forward to booking with her again”

About: I'm a cat person through and through — I just don't have one of my own yet (someday!). What I love most about cats is how they do things on their own time, so I give them their space and let them come to me. And when they do, it genuinely feels like an honor. With your cat, you can expect someone calm and low-key who respects their boundaries. I'm not going to chase them around or force attention — I'll let them set the pace, whether that means playtime, sitting quietly nearby while they lay in the sun, or just checking in on food, water, and the litter box. I pay attention to what they actually want, not what I want from them. I'll keep things consistent and calm while you're away, send you updates and photos, and make sure your cat feels safe and comfortable the whole time. If they warm up to me, that's a bonus I'll always appreciate — but I'm just as happy giving a more independent cat their space.
“Sandee took great care of our kitty, and was super communicative and attentive to all our needs. Our cat was in great hands thanks to her, and she gets my strongest recommendation!”

About: Since I moved to the US from Brazil, my own cats stayed back with a good friend, so I totally get missing that cat energy in my life! That’s why I’m always ready to spoil your feline friends like they’re my own. From playtime to cozy snuggles, I’ll make sure your cat gets all the attention they need. I’ve handled everything from feeding picky eaters to keeping litter boxes fresh, and I’m comfortable giving medications if needed. Let’s just say I still need my cat fix every once in a while, and your kitty can be my purrfect companion! 😻

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.

“Alison was really nice, and my dog was drawn to her right away at our meet and greet. She was really understanding with me as a first time app user, and made me feel safe about leaving my dog with a stranger for the first time. She handled my dogs separation anxiety really well and sent me updates so I wouldn't worry. I would definitely book again.”

“Thanks Sophie for taking good care of our dog Hobbes! We had Sophie watch Hobbes while we attended a concert in Berkeley. We had drinks at a spot in Oakland beforehand and her place was a quick stop on the way to the venue. Hobbes seemed to have a blast playing while there. She shared some photos which was a nice touch. We will gladly reach out again if we need pet sitting in the area.”

“Matthew and Van Joseph were fantastic dog sitters! They not only took great care of my dog, but also gave me a peace of mind with frequent updates and clear communication. My dog can be nervous in new environments, but felt right at home with Matthew and VJ! 10/10 highly recommend!”

“Taylor is fantastic. I was in town for work with my wee guy and she took care of him during the times I couldn't have him with me. Rowlf and Taylor made a fast friends. They played and walked and cuddled, she took tons of pics and kept me up to date about their time together, and really supported me while I was working. I'm so grateful I found her. Taylor is super friendly, thorough, and loving. It can be so hard for all of us to trust the care of our babies to a stranger. You can't go wrong here!”

“I have no doubt that my baby is in the best hands with Ruthy. I keep coming back to her for Doggie Daycare, and will continue to. She goes above and beyond and trains him on his off-leash skills (something I definitely want him to do better in). She understands Buddy (and her other handsome pups) in a way that is truly unique. Buddy goes running to her in the mornings, which he does not do with most people. It genuinely makes her happy to see Buddy thrive and progress in his skills. She consistently sends photos and videos of their day together and updates me on what they're up to throughout the day, which I LOVE. I am someone who usually stresses about my dog when I'm away from him, but I have such a sense of relief when he is with Ruthy!”

“I felt a little unsure of dropping my dog off to someone I didn't know but started to feel more comfortable the more I spoke with Hye. Then Rudy, my pup, and I met Hye in person and we both were put very much at ease. Hye and Rudy hit it off immediately and I was fine leaving him with her. Hye updated us with photos and really "loved" Rudy and my wife and I were able to relax and enjoy our evening. I would totally recommend Hye and her husband for the care of their family member.”

“Emily is wonderful. She took such good care of my puppy and took the time to send me videos, photos and updates. They went for walks and my puppy had so much fun playing with her dog. I am very happy and grateful to have found someone I can trust with my little guy and I know he can’t wait to visit again.”

“Very impressed with Hong! We had a last-minute change of plans and needed a sitter for our girl Spoon, and Hong was absolutely amazing. She cared for Spoon like she was her own, which gave us so much peace of mind. She’s incredibly thorough and keeps us updated throughout the day—even down to every bowel movement—which we really appreciated. We’re so grateful to have found her and will definitely keep booking with her. Highly recommend! 🤍”

About: Berkeley Humane Society and Oakland Animal Services volunteer, trained with dogs of all temperaments. I also dog sit for family and friends, and love building trust and keeping routines consistent. I focus on quality walks, not quick outings. When appropriate, I take dogs to East Bay spots like Point Isabel, Albany Bulb and Berkeley Marina for space and stimulation. For drop-ins, your dog will get lots of attention, movement and care. I walk my dogs daily, often on longer outings. I adjust pace and distance based on your dog’s needs. Dog care is my priority right now. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I have flexibility and I can accommodate longer walks or extended visits I prioritize safety at all times. Dogs will always be on-leash and handled either full attention and control. I stick to your instructions and keep routines consistent
“Alejandra is the best! She took such good care of MoMo and sent me photos & updates throughout the day. This is my 3rd booking with her and my trust in her grows each time - Tysm Alejandra!”

About: I’m a full time artist and WFH sitter with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages including Puppies, seniors, special needs pets, and sensitive personalities. I live a calm and quiet lifestyle with my senior corgi, Mochi, and my sweet, dog friendly cat, Mumu. Because I’m home most of the day, your pet will get steady attention, a peaceful environment, and care that never feels rushed. My dog Mochi is 10 and has had many health issues, including back leg mobility problems. Caring for her has given me strong experience with senior dogs, medication schedules, mobility support, slow routines, anxious pets and even stroller walks. I grew up with many pets, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve experienced a negligent sitter in the past whose carelessness sent my dog to the hospital. Because of that I take this work extremely seriously. I’m attentive, detail oriented, cautious and I never take shortcuts especially with older or delicate pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Because I’m an artist I’ll sometimes doodle a small portrait of your pet if time allows, just a little gift for you. A little about why I joined Rover: I recently moved into a larger space which has allowed me to comfortably host more pets. I also decided to start pet sitting as a way to help offset the rising costs of my senior dog’s insurance. It’s important to me that I can continue providing the best care for her and Rover lets me do that while offering attentive, reliable care to other pets as well. I WFH so I’m home most of the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine I already have a senior dog with daily feeding, meds so I’m used to gentle and structured care throughout the day. I take breaks to give pets attention, walks, playtime and lots of calm company. Your pet would be part of my daily rhythm not an afterthought I maintain a calm and supervised home where safety comes first. Pets get slow introductions and secure spaces and constant oversight since I work from home. My corgi is crate-trained and my cat has high-ground access so everyone has their own safe zones. I follow your schedule exactly : feeding, walks, meds, and activities so your pet stays on their normal routine. They’ll have a safe comfortable place to play or nap all day and can sleep with me at night if they'd like to. Diet & Feeding I follow your pet’s exact feeding schedule and portion sizes to keep everything consistent. I always make sure pets stay hydrated, especially in warmer weather. I feed my dog and guest dogs separately to avoid any food guarding or stress during mealtimes. Hygiene & Cleanliness I keep pets clean and comfortable throughout the day : wiping paws if needed, cleaning eye discharge and keeping their space tidy. I’m very detailoriented about maintaining a clean safe environment. Walk Safety All dogs are leashed outdoors at all times. I stay alert around other dogs separate pets immediately if there are signs of stress or tension and prevent ground eating or unsafe sniffing areas. I’m always attentive and I clean up after them every time. Sleeping Arrangements My own dog prefers her own bed and doesn’t sleep with me but your dog is welcome to sleep wherever they feel comfortable whether that’s in their own bed, the crate or in the bed with me for extra comfort. I make sure every pet has a safe cozy sleeping setup.
“We had a great first daycare with Nikolai! He is very responsive and easy to coordinate with. It was nice to know Jax was having a fun day with other dogs and nice people. Excited to go back again!!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pup like one of my own! I’m experienced with small breeds, energetic dogs, and those who just want a cozy lap and some extra attention. Whether we’re playing fetch, going on walks, or enjoying a lazy afternoon nap, my goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and completely at home. As a pup parent myself, I believe pet parents deserve frequent updates and lots of photos, so you can relax knowing your best friend is having a great time too. I work from home so I’m flexible during the day and evenings for pet care. I tend to go to the dog park or on hikes a couple times per week. I have a small friendly dog in my home that gets along with most other dogs. He loves to play, and also is happy to leave other dogs alone. I make sure my client’s homes are better than how I found them. I like to send lots of pics and updates when staying in clients homes, and of course follow all rules and guidelines.
“Sarah was amazing! Very kind and communicative. My 10 year old Australian Shepherd was comfortable and at ease with her and in her home. Very glad to have booked with her!”

“My dog baby Maui loved staying with Dylan who was so attentive and doting. My dog has separation anxiety, but he was very comfortable with Dylan at drop off and pick up and from the pictures Dylan shared, and napped happily when we got home. I appreciated the updates and photos, and that we did a meet and greet before the booking to see how Maui got on with Dylan's two cute dogs! Can't wait for Maui to stay with Dylan and his partner and family again!”

“michelle and her husband are the best sitters and have been my go-tos ever since i adopted roo over a year ago. roo’s a little anxious but they make her feel comfortable and keep me posted on how she’s doing throughout the day. highly recommend!”

“Matthew was communicative, punctual, and good with our three dogs. He was able to get all three of them walking quickly, a decent distance, and going to the bathroom, which is very valuable for us! We will definitely request Matt again!”

“Gretchen has been an absolute gem, and my anxious pup has become so confident on walks with Gretchen’s help and consistency. “Becca is very good with communicating; they are attentive and comfortable with both of our dogs — they only walked our sweeter easier dog but at meet and greet, our energetic one, who is usually anxious around strangers seems to take on with Becca well — we would probable use their service again! Thank you Becca!”

About: Hello, my name is Heather. I’m an Oakland based animal care giver & artist. Offering dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight care. I’m most experienced with cats, dogs, ferrets and bunnies, but have a love for all in the animal kingdom. I once trained a fighting pit bull into a licensed assistance dog. It was exhausting but so fulfilling! I like to spend my free time creating art, walking the beach and hiking. Does your lonely pet enjoy this type of environment? Let’s meet up! I can’t wait to meet you & your furry friend 🐾 As a freelance artist, I enjoy a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive, dependable pet care with plenty of time for walks, play, and companionship. Your pets deserve safe, loving, and reliable care. 5 Star care- attentive, and trustworthy, I provide peace of mind while keeping your furry family happy, secure, and comfortable.

I adjust to each dog’s energy level, whether they prefer an active outing or a more relaxed pace. I’m organized, communicative, and reliable, and I take pride in making pet parents feel comfortable and informed. You can expect clear updates, thoughtful communication, and plenty of photos so you can feel at ease while your dog is in my care.
About: Hi! My name is Stephanie and I have been pet sitting for over 15 years. My love of animals has led me to initially start looking after family and friend's critters to wanting to help others as a way to care for their pets when they're busy or unable to. I have cared for both cats, dogs, even a pig, ranging from young to old. Currently, I provide daily check-ins to see how pets are doing. I also provide walks and play time so they get some engagement and aren't lonely while their owners are away on business or vacation or just busy with work. If you are looking for someone to help you with a walk, a check-in, or play time, please don't hesitate to contact me! I'm currently funemployed so my schedule is extremely flexible. For drop-ins, I drop in once in the morning at 8:30am and/or again in the evening at 6:30pm. For walks, they would be during middle of the day at around 1pm. Prior to an service, I try to communicate with pet owners about anything I should know. I prefer to over communicate to make sure everyone is on the same page and that I have everything I need to make every visit, stay, or walk successful. When visiting a client's home, I allow pets to come up to me first so they can get acquainted with me. I don't force interaction since that can break down trust. If any of the pets have soiled or damaged anything on the property, I'd document it, send it to the client, then clean up any mess. Whether I'm staying at someone's house or doing drop-ins, I give each pet lots of love and attention in the form of pets, belly rubs, and playing games with them. If they are skittish, I tend to let them approach me when they feel comfortable.
About: Hi, I’m Len, and I’ve been lifelong passionate dog lover. With over 30 years of hands-on experience with dogs of all kinds from energetic puppies to wise senior pups and everything in between I understand what it takes to provide excellent care tailored to each dog’s unique personality and needs. Dogs seem to take to me naturally, and I love building trust and strong bonds with every pup I meet. Whether your furry friend needs long walks, a playmate, or a quiet companion, I’m here to ensure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Living in Oakland, I’m familiar with all the best parks, walking routes, and local spots where your dog can enjoy the outdoors. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for, just as if they were my own. I work part time from home and have a very flexible schedule. I would only accept jobs that I’m certain I can attend to that accommodate my schedule. I live in a community building with security staff 24 hours, it’s very dog friendly. There are special accommodations for dogs, such as a fenced in area for dogs.
About: **Available after 3pm on M,Tu,W,Th, Anytime on Fri,Sat,Sun** I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have always loved being around animals. Growing up, I regularly helped care for my family’s dogs whenever they needed support, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’m also a cat parent to my two kitties, Michi and Kiki, whom I’ve raised since they were just 8 weeks old. They’ll soon be two years old! Caring for them has given me daily experience with cat care, routines, playtime, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. From Monday through Thursday, I’m available for pet care after 3:00 PM. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I’m available all day and have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs! I have a large apartment for your pup to play in! I also have an outside space for your pup to play in with supervision. Your pet will be my priority during our time together, and rest assured that they will be treated with the utmost respect, love, and kindness!

“Contentious, thoughtful, on time and compassionate about animals. John has a mellow demeanor that puts dogs at ease and is attentive and understanding of my reactive dog’s quirks. I would definitely recommend to friends and hire again! Thank you, John!”

About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.

About: I've been watching dogs for about 7 years now, mostly small and medium dogs, and I have a real soft spot for herding breeds. I love going on walks with them, usually around 30-45 minutes in the neighborhood, to help burn off their energy and keep them active. I especially love walking younger, energetic dogs because I can go longer with them (getting my steps in) but, I also have a big love for senior dogs and take it slower and easier for them. Every dog is different, so I like to give them what they need — whether that's a good long walk or just sweet cuddles and their own space to relax. I try to keep things calm for them the whole time they're with me. I also send lots of pictures throughout the day so you can see your pup enjoying themselves and know they're safe and having a good time. Right now I'm actually watching a friend's dog, and I'd love to bring that same care to your pup too. I do ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible, just so I can work around everyone's schedule and be fully ready for your dog. I have a lot of flexibility right now and I'm available throughout the week and most weekends, aside from Saturday nights. That means I can usually work around whatever schedule fits you and your pet best. I prefer taking care of animals in their own home. When their family is away, that can be a stressful, uncertain time for them, so making sure they still feel safe and at home is always my top priority. I keep their routine as normal as possible — same feeding times, same walks, same spaces — so the change feels as small as possible for them. If we're at my place instead, I love watching them explore and get curious about a new environment. Helping them feel comfortable and at ease is always the most important thing to me, whether that's in their home or mine.
About: I will care and love for your dog just as much as you do. I've done occasional dog sitting over the last couple of years, and I always have such a great time with the dogs that I care for. I'm often called a dog whisperer because most dogs just gravitate towards me. I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment so having the opportunity to care for yours would be amazing. I love the pureness, and sincerity of a dog's character. I understand that your pet is family, and I will always treat them as such, their care is of the utmost importance to me. (However ,for the time being I can provide part-time care for your loved one )
“Mary did an amazing job. I have a pet cam and saw how happy they were to see her. They rarely get off the couch for me. She sent photos every walk and they looked great.”

“Joann was great! She took us on with really late notice, sent updates of our cute sleepy dog, and our pup came home super happy. Would work with Joann again in the future!”

“Inkoo and Freya were great. My dog is a very shy and timid dog but was able to settle in and be comfortable in Inkoo's house in no time. If we find ourselves needing dog sitting services again, Inkoo will be our first call!”

“Julie was amazing with her flexibility and patience helping me make sure Mila was taken care of. Mila took to her charming personality quickly and she took excellent care of my little one. Julie also takes amazing photos! I felt so at ease knowing Mila was in her care. Thank you tons for working with my crazy schedule too, it was much appreciated!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Sarah looking after my dog, Bash. From the start, it was clear that she was committed to keeping him physically engaged and safe. I really appreciated that she prioritized getting him out for plenty of long, vigorous walks. It was a huge relief to travel knowing that Bash was in capable hands, getting the exercise he needs to stay happy and tired. Beyond the activity, she kept me updated with check-ins and amazing photos (seriously I might frame one of them), which gave me complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a responsible, communicative, and active pet sitter. Both Bash and I are extremely satisfied customers!”

“Natasha took good care of Kona and gave us a detailed update multiple times with photos for the night we had Kona over at hers. She understood his personality and was able to help him get familiar with his new environment quick and be a snuggle buddy that he is. Sage was also friendly and got along with him as we saw them going on walks together on the photos. Loved it for Kona that he got to experience Sage and his mama! Kona will for sure be back. Thanks Natasha!”

“Megan and Jenny were a pleasure to meet and chat with. They took care of my dog exceptionally well with great updates and cute photos. My dog really vibed with them that she remembered their house after the initial meet and greet 🥹 thank you so much!”

“Michelle was absolutely fantastic! We left for about a week and Michelle was great about checking in with daily pictures. Our frenchie adores her and had a blast playing with her sweet dog Hazel. We will definitely be using her in the future!”
“Anna was as happy and healthy as the day I dropped her off! You guys did a great job with her… I now know at the next time I travel I have the confidence of leaving here in good hands. I bet she misses you guys. We should make a play date scheduled so she can see her new friends! Thank you again”

“Very responsive and gave me lots of updates about how my dog was doing during his boarding stay. My dog came home happy as can be and looks very well cared for and based on the pictures had an awesome time with Alexis.”
About: I have always enjoyed being around animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I worked at a pet care facility for over a year, where I gained hands-on experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, cats, and multiple pets at the same time. I also learned how to give medications, trim nails, bathe pets, and follow different feeding, walking, and care routines. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. Some pets may want lots of playtime and attention, while others need extra patience and time to feel comfortable. I offer drop-in visits, overnight stays, and long-term care when needed. I will treat your pets with the same kindness and attention I would give my own, while keeping you updated so you can feel comfortable while you are away. I am currently working part time and have availability at all times of the week. My week to week is adaptive based off of pets that I care for that week, my work schedule is very flexible and can move around when needed! At my home, pets have access to a fully fenced yard where they can safely enjoy supervised outdoor time. I also have a large SUV, so I can comfortably transport pets of different sizes for walks, park visits, or other approved activities. I live in a safe, centrally located neighborhood that is great for everyday walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am respectful of both the home and the pet’s normal routine. I understand that every animal has different feeding schedules, exercise needs, comfort levels, and household rules, so I pay close attention to all instructions. My goal is to help your pet feel as safe, relaxed, and comfortable as possible while you are away. I am also happy to send as many photo and video updates as you would like, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is being well cared for.

“Ruthy was great with my dog Larry. He's developed separation anxiety since moving to the west coast, and she did a great job at being attentive and making him feel comfortable and at home while I was away for a few days. Lots of daily pictures and video updates, which was awesome. Highly recommend! We will definitely be repeat customers.”
“Timothy and his family was absolutely an amazing rover experience. They sent daily updates and made sure he got all the love while I was away. Their dog coco was also so sweet and an amazing companion for Eddy; he loved her! Would recommend and definitely will be booking again!”
