About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since childhood and deeply love connecting with animals. I supported my last dog through her later years and have sensitivity to the needs of elder puppies. I also enjoy the energy of younger dogs and live right near San Pablo park for dogs who like to socialize. I mostly work from home with occasional in person meetings during the week. I am available for pet care throughout the week and can let dogs out to the back yard throughout the day. I live in a quiet but lively neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and sniff. The back yard is fenced in and allows space to lounge in the sun. There are no other pets or humans currently in the house so it is very peaceful and quiet most of the time. I've been around pups my whole life: walks, sits, feedings, bath time, you name it. Friends, family, neighbors have all trusted me with their fur babies, and I take that seriously. But also I make it really fun. Here's what makes me a little different: I follow the dog's lead. Some pups want a big adventure. Others want a slow sniff-everything kind of walk (honestly iconic). On our walks, they pick the route. I'm just happy to be invited. I also put together little enrichment activities because a stimulated dog is a happy dog, and yes, I talk to them like they understand everything I'm saying, because they do. I'm a big dog park person too, but I'm picky about it in the best way. I stick to parks where I already know the people and the dogs, so I know exactly what kind of environment your pup is walking into. No surprises, just good socialization with faces I trust. When your dog stays with me, they get a whole day tailored to their vibe: cozy, active, or somewhere in between. And you? You'll get so many photo and video updates you might actually forget you miss them. Might. At home I live with Totó, my shichihuahua who is fully convinced he runs this household (he does). He's taught me everything about big personality in a small body, and he's an excellent host. I have a special soft spot for senior dogs. My clients always say the same two things: they got way more updates than they expected, and they finally felt okay leaving their dog with someone.
