“Cathy has been walking our anxious little rescue dog for over a year plus house/pet sitting as we’ve needed her. We are always so happy to know we have such a caring person with our pets! She provides such peace of mind. Couldn’t recommend more highly.”

“Iryna was amazing!! We were leaving our elderly dog for the first time in quite awhile, and she did a wonderful job giving her a walk every day, making sure she was fed and comfortable. A++ care!”

“Eleanna is great! Her experience with dogs is obvious. I can tell she is confident and knowledgeable. She is also compassionate and I feel completely safe having her take care of my dog who gets a little nervous out there in the real world. I’m so grateful that I have met her and will call her back many times. Thanks!”

About: I have over 6 years of experience as a cat & dog owner. Raised my own dog from a puppy (she’s now a happy 3-year-old Corgi!) and cared for two cats for several years also. I’m well versed in everything from high energy puppy play to the quiet, patient approach many cats prefer. I also have experience fostering dogs with complex behavioral needs, like those struggling with 'stranger danger' and anxiety. I know that building trust takes time & a calm presence. I take care of mine, and others’ furbabies as if they were my own children. As a college student that has classes online, my schedule can be quite flexible. I am happy & willing to work with clients to best help with what they need. Safety is super important to me (as it should be) because I understand you are entrusting me with basically your child. I am very attentive & vigilant. Always keeping an eye on your pet to make sure they are safe, and they’re surroundings are safe for them.
“Heather has been walking Gigi for almost a year now. She not only been reliable and kind but has gone above and beyond with Gigi, teachingi her tricks and updated me with all her walk experiences. Gigi loves Heather and gets so excited to see her when she comes. Heather makes sure Gigi gets a good walk in and takes extra time to show her love! We appreciate her so much!”

“Nhu is super friendly, responsive, respectful and reliable. Our dog Chloe loves seeing Nhu, and we can always rest easy when we’re away, knowing that Nhu is taking great care of her. Nhu follows instructions carefully and even goes above and beyond in ensuring she’s providing the best care. It’s no wonder she has so many 5 star reviews and repeat clients!”

About: I’ve been taking care of plenty of animals since I was able to walk. My family owns a dog rescue known as Jack Jacks Pack in Texas, and I’ve been able to help and provide support needed when available! I can take care of many dogs and cats, making sure they’re fed, happy, and get plenty of restroom breaks by going on walks if needed. I’m capable and experienced with this kind of work, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone! I’m currently looking for a part-time or full time job, allowing me to have all the time in the world to take care of your animals. I’m normally free the most between Monday through Thursday, but can help out on any day that I’m available! I can take your dogs on walks, where I can provide my own leash and poop bags, as well as do quick little drop ins for your pets, making sure there happy and fed. I enjoy being around animals as they create a positive energy and environment for others which is important for daily life, making sure the environment is just as positive for both the animals and the owners!
About: i get along easy with dogs, as much i love being around with cats. i used to watch my sister’s dog. i’ll take him to a park or for a walk, sometimes i’ll bring him while i do my errands. A little companion. i’m currently working a part-time job, i’m off wednesdays and fridays. i usually work night shifts on the days. i could do drop in visit/dog sitting in the mornings after 3pm. i used to have a cat for little white but i had to give him away, unfortunately. i also just recently moved out from my parents and they don’t allow cats. However i’ve always made sure my cat was being fed well and always clean. he was a poop stomper. So i had to clean him all times.
About: I am very attentive to the needs of your pets, especially if they are older and slower, but I also enjoy energetic puppies and pets that need some training and just need some positive re-enforcement. I am available to House sit - although I don't know how to reflect that on the website. I actively practice positive reinforcement obedience training. My schedule is open now in general but I may do a retreat every so often. I nearby in the Bay Area, my schedule is more flexible. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, since I live in a small place. I am attentive to the needs of the pet and if I see that the pet needs exercise, I make sure they get sufficient exercise through their regular routines.
“Sophie has been amazing with my girl Rosie as she adjusts to city life. She has made a huge impact on keeping her calm and helping keep her active by giving her good exercise and working with to stay calm and focused while encountering squirrels, other dogs and loud noises on their walks. I have noticed such a change due to Sophie's interventions. Sophie is prompt, communicative and kind. A one of a kind! Rosie adores her!”

About: I have had my own sweet pup for over 14 years. Assisted heavily during some of the major fires in northern California over the years, working with several professional animal rescue teams. Love dogs of all shapes and sizes just out here hoping to help as many pups as possible. Recently relocated to the Bay Area & while looking for my next full time opportunity decided to lean into some of my passions. Dogs being #1! If I can do that through this app while bringing in a little cash on the side, what could be better? Currently available full time. I’m very active so love taking walks. (My senior dog has slowed down so I’m missing a walking buddy.) I do have a small fenced backyard with grass. Our house is very dog friendly.

“My senior rescue pup has behavioral issues and requires a lot of patience and warming up. Diana always takes the time to help my pup calm down and warm up - really appreciate it!”

Alameda dog parents share their Rover experiences
Eleanna is a fantastic Pet Care provider. She understands animals. I trusted her inherently the first time I met her. She has been caring for my animals while I’ve been away and I feel completely confident and safe with them in her care. My dog is learning from a recent training on leash reactivity and she worked well with Java in my absence. Java dog made progress! Thank you Eleanna

Chewy can be very shy and takes time to warm up to new people so unfortunately they weren’t able to complete the walk this time. However, she was very patient, calm, and really tried her best the entire hour. I truly appreciated her kindness and understanding with him.
