About: I have experience taking care of dogs because I grew up with them. Being around dogs has always felt natural to me, so I understand the basics of feeding them, walking them, playing with them, keeping them comfortable, and paying attention to what they need. One of the reasons I’m majoring in Veterinary Assisting is because I’ve seen how cats are often overlooked, and I want to help give them the care they deserve. I do have a part-time job, but my shifts are usually only a few hours long and vary throughout the week. I grew up with dogs, and my parents bred and showed Dobermans, so I was surrounded from an early age by thoughtful, consistent dog care and training. Rather than caring for a large group of dogs, I prefer to host one guest at a time so they can settle into our household and receive plenty of individual attention, companionship, walks, play, and affection. I'm home much of the day, so a visiting dog isn't routinely left alone for long stretches. I believe dogs respond best to patience, consistency, clear boundaries, positive interaction, and lots of affection. I also know every dog has its own personality, habits, and comfort level, so I want to learn what makes your dog feel safe and at home. My goal is simple: while you're away, your dog gets to live as a beloved member of the household rather than feeling like they're being sent away to boarding. I work primarily from home, and my own dog is already my near-constant companion, so caring for another dog fits very naturally into my daily life. When I board a dog, my intention is for them to join our household and our routine rather than spend long stretches of the day alone. That means plenty of companionship, regular walks and outdoor time, play, relaxation, and, when it's appropriate for the individual dog, coming along with us on dog-friendly outings. Before a first stay, I prefer to meet with you and your dog and introduce them to my dog so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. I follow your instructions and try to keep familiar routines consistent while adapting to what I observe during the stay. I host only one guest dog at a time, which allows me to give them plenty of individual attention and closely monitor how they're settling in. I use leashes and secure handling outdoors, keep food and other potential sources of conflict managed carefully, and never assume that two dogs who get along well don't still need thoughtful supervision. Most importantly, I pay attention. Dogs communicate constantly through their behavior, and I want to notice when a guest is relaxed, uncomfortable, tired, excited, or needs something different. My goal is to provide a safe, calm home where your dog can become part of the family while they're in my care.

About: I have dogsat for different family members and even my significant other’s on multiple occasions since I was 11. I’m very observant when it comes to body language and behavior. I take pride in over-caring than under-caring. Your dog’s enjoyment is my top priority! I’m currently looking for a part-time job, so at this very moment I have plenty of free-time to get to know you and your doggos. I can bathe, brush, walk, etc. when instructed by you to do so. My daily routine can be flexible but will eventually changed due to career managing. I’m happy to communicate and accommodate! I have a small Honda Fit Hatchback car for transportation that can be used to go to the park. I will also supply water, wet wipes (dog friendly), and a small ball or two for playing! If the doggo wants a joyride, I can provide!

About: I had my first dog at nine, but cared for friends and families’ pets before that to prepare myself. I’ve always been good with animals and would be honored to care for yours in your absence. I’m also decent at getting them to take any medication that they might need. I typically avoid dog walks and interactions with other dogs, simply because I cannot control how the other dog acts and I want to keep your pup safe. I work full time from home, so in-house sittings and weekdays work best. I will typically take pups out every 3-4 hours max unless they are puppies or have other medical needs. I am very covid conscious so I will wipe down surfaces after I use them. I take instruction well and I am very communicative so I am ready to work with you to figure out what’s best for your pet.
