About: I have experience taking care of dogs because I grew up with them. Being around dogs has always felt natural to me, so I understand the basics of feeding them, walking them, playing with them, keeping them comfortable, and paying attention to what they need. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive, but I’m also playful, so I enjoy making sure dogs are not just cared for, but actually happy and engaged. I know every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I would always respect the owner’s instructions and take time to understand what works best for their dog. I’m currently in college and home for the summer, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I’m available for walks, playtime, drop-ins, and consistent care throughout the week. I’m happy to work with your dog’s routine and make scheduling easy for you. I care for pets by keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I would follow their instructions carefully, whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication, or general house rules. I want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. For walks or visits, I would stay aware of my surroundings, keep dogs secure on their leash, avoid unsafe situations, and pay attention to how they’re acting. My goal is for the pet to feel cared for and for the owner to feel relaxed knowing their dog is safe and in good hands.

About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of animals from dogs to also small animals and reptiles. I’ve grown with dogs through all stages of their life from puppies to senior dogs. I feel I’ve always been empathetic to what animals may want/need, able to read their body language, always up for playing or cuddling, etc. I currently have a high energy mixed dog that I’ve trained myself. I’ve cared for her through being a puppy, her needs after surgeries, giving medications, helping comfort through anxiety, and playing throughout the day to take care of her energy needs. I have a big back yard if you need day care and your dog would have a companion to play with! We take daily walks that we’d love to have your pup join! I am a stay at home mom so I have complete availability to help care for your pets! I currently walk my dog every morning, but that can be adjusted to fit your needs for your dog to be walked. Because I’m a stay at home mom, day care is completely open for your pet to be at my house. We allow pets on furniture so your pet can be comfortable. Our dog is high energy so your pup can also get some energy out! Our backyard is very big to accommodate any running/playing they’d like to do. If daycare isn’t needed, I’m completely available to check in on your pet anytime as well! If your pet is coming to my house, it is completely open for your pet to feel comfortable and explore their surroundings. Our back door is always open so they can use the bathroom when they want to or also play and run around with our dog! Water is always out and available. If you’d like check ins at your home, I would of course respect your home and privacy. Nothing would be touched unless necessary to care for your animal the way you’re asking me to. Whatever your needs are, I will completely follow.

About: I’ve spent three years caring for dogs through walking and sitting, providing safe, loving, reliable support tailored to each pup’s personality, routine, and comfort needs. With lots of free time in my daily routine, I’m able to focus fully on each dog I care for, providing steady attention, enrichment, and a peaceful, supervised environment. I provide a safe, reliable home where dogs can relax and feel supported. With frequent potty breaks, daily walks, and attentive supervision, your pup stays comfortable, happy, and well‑monitored.
About: I have taken care of my dog on my own for ten years now. She was adopted from a rescue animal shelter as a three month old. I have cared for her patiently as a scared puppy to now being a senior. I am a responsible, kind and loving dog carer. I have experience babysitting, walking, bathing, playing, brushing teeth, vet visits and more. I do not currently have any commitments and I'm able to care for pets as needed. My schedule is open and available at anytime, weekday or weekend. I am open and flexible to caring for pets as they are cared for by the owner. Making the pet feel comfortable by maintaining their routines works great for me.
“Kim was extremely nice to our pets and did a great job with the dog walk. Her Rover card included a detailed description of their walk and the photos were appreciated. 10/10!”

About: With over 16 years of experience in veterinary medicine and a lifetime of loving and caring for animals, I bring professional knowledge and genuine compassion to every pet I care for. My background includes veterinary assisting, client education, hospital management, and working alongside veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, including puppies, kittens, seniors, and pets with medical conditions or special needs. I am comfortable administering oral medications, monitoring behavior for signs of illness, following detailed care instructions, and maintaining daily routines. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to build trust, provide enrichment, and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to give pet parents complete peace of mind knowing their furry family member is receiving experienced, attentive, and compassionate care. Pet care has always been a natural part of my life, both personally and professionally. I intentionally schedule my time so I can provide reliable, unhurried care and give each pet the individual attention they deserve. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, an extended walk, overnight companionship, medication administration, or simply someone to spend quality time with them, I am committed to maintaining their normal routine. I understand that consistency helps pets feel secure, and I pride myself on being dependable, punctual, and flexible whenever possible to meet the needs of both pets and their families. Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are always my highest priorities. My veterinary background allows me to recognize subtle changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, or overall health that others may overlook. I carefully follow all feeding instructions, medication schedules, exercise requirements, and household routines exactly as requested. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your home with the same respect I would my own while creating a calm, low-stress environment for your pet. I use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, supervise outdoor time, monitor interactions with other animals, and provide plenty of affection, playtime, and enrichment. I also believe communication is key, so you’ll receive regular updates and photos, allowing you to relax knowing your beloved companion is in experienced, caring hands.

About: My husband & I have been dog parents for nearly 20 years, caring for our 1st furbaby Gelato for almost 14 years (he passed 3 years ago :( ) and currently caring for his sister from another mister Nutella for the past 5 :). We know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone else because they’re truly part of the family. We provide a calm, loving home environment with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and accommodate feeding schedules, medications, and special instructions. We can only care for a small number of dogs at a time so every pup gets plenty of individual attention. We do have a dog at home so we will only be accepting dog-friendly dogs. My husband & I will be watching your pup! I work twice a week in the office but my husband will be home full time. We are available during the weekend full time based on our availability. We have a fence front and back yard. As long as your dog isn’t prone to jumping fences we can leave them in the front yard for some outside play time. If not, we have a backyard with a doggy door where they can go in and out all day. Backyard is fully secured.
About: I love playing with dogs! They are so fun to play with. Of course, I do make sure they are well fed and that they’ve gone on their walks. I like to make sure their feeding area is clean so that they don’t pick any germs or parasites and get sick. If they have medication to take, I will happily give it to them without any fear of them potentially biting me or being a bit aggressive. I am free at various times. I do attend university, so I may be unavailable at certain times. However, I am happy to work with you and your pet at whatever time is best. I like to ask questions regarding their pets routine, conditions, etc. It helps me get to know more about the owner as well as their companion. I will always make sure their pet feels safe and that they can trust me. I like to greet myself with pets by holding my hand out for them to smell so that I can pet them with their permission.
About: Hi! My name is Jenniffer, I’m a responsible, patient and caring dog person. I have been taking care of my dog Canelo, a Pit Bull mix, for almost four years. Raising him since he was a puppy has teach me a lot , because of him I started to know more about dogs. I understand that they need a lot of care, attention and love. Even though I’m new to taking care of pets from other people I’m not new on knowing what are their needs and how to take care of them. I understand the importance of exercising, health, safety , and environment for our dogs. I would love to provide the same care and love I give to my own dog because I understand our doggies are part of our own family. I’m currently not working and I’m open to any schedules depending on what my clients need. I prefer morning and afternoons for walks. My schedule is very flexible and I’m happy to take care of them and be able to provide great service and accommodate to the doggies routines as well . My home offers a safe, fenced backyard with enough space, and I have my dog thats really friendly and loves new company. At the moment I’m not providing this type of service, I’m focusing on getting it to know pets .

About: Dogs have been part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, and my parents bred and showed Dobermans, so I was surrounded from an early age by thoughtful, consistent dog care and training. With only a few gaps during college and early adulthood, I've had a dog by my side throughout my entire life. I'm currently a dog owner myself, and my dog is very much part of my everyday life. That's also how I approach boarding. Rather than caring for a large group of dogs, I prefer to host one guest at a time so they can settle into our household and receive plenty of individual attention, companionship, walks, play, and affection. I'm home much of the day, so a visiting dog isn't routinely left alone for long stretches. I believe dogs respond best to patience, consistency, clear boundaries, positive interaction, and lots of affection. I also know every dog has its own personality, habits, and comfort level, so I want to learn what makes your dog feel safe and at home. My goal is simple: while you're away, your dog gets to live as a beloved member of the household rather than feeling like they're being sent away to boarding. I work primarily from home, and my own dog is already my near-constant companion, so caring for another dog fits very naturally into my daily life. When I board a dog, my intention is for them to join our household and our routine rather than spend long stretches of the day alone. That means plenty of companionship, regular walks and outdoor time, play, relaxation, and, when it's appropriate for the individual dog, coming along with us on dog-friendly outings. I take my own dog with me frequently and am happy to do the same with a guest who enjoys it. Most importantly, I adjust the routine to the dog. Some dogs love being out and about; others are happiest relaxing somewhere familiar and quiet. During their stay, I pay attention to what makes them comfortable and adapt accordingly. I want each dog in my care to feel safe, included, and genuinely at home while their family is away. Safety starts with making sure a dog is a good fit for our home. Before a first stay, I prefer to meet with you and your dog and introduce them to my dog so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. I strive to understand your dog's normal routine, personality, feeding and walking schedule, house rules, medications or special needs, and anything that makes them anxious, excited, or especially happy. I follow your instructions and try to keep familiar routines consistent while adapting to what I observe during the stay. I host only one guest dog at a time, which allows me to give them plenty of individual attention and closely monitor how they're settling in. I use leashes and secure handling outdoors, keep food and other potential sources of conflict managed carefully, and never assume that two dogs who get along well don't still need thoughtful supervision. Most importantly, I pay attention. Dogs communicate constantly through their behavior, and I want to notice when a guest is relaxed, uncomfortable, tired, excited, or needs something different. My goal is to provide a safe, calm home where your dog can become part of the family while they're in my care.
“Jackie and Jannalea were very sweet and patient with my dog Ponyo. Ponyo got her walks and they managed to take the same route that I usually do without my prompting! Got photos and updates each time so I knew what was going on. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!”

About: I’ve had cats for about 7 years and have always loved caring for them. I’ve also rescued several kittens and helped find them good homes. One of the reasons I’m majoring in Veterinary Assisting is because I’ve seen how cats are often overlooked, and I want to help give them the care they deserve. I’ll treat your cat like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Since it’s summer, my schedule is very flexible. I do have a part-time job, but my shifts are usually only a few hours long and vary throughout the week. Outside of work, I have plenty of time to care for your pets and give them the attention they deserve. I will make sure your pets are well cared for while you’re away, and I’ll send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re happy and safe. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely care about making sure pets are happy and comfortable. I make it a point to check on them regularly, give them plenty of attention, and make sure their needs are met. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands.

I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and attention, and stay in a safe, clean environment. I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort thought the time I will be watching them. If I am in a clients home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and maintain the pet's normal routine. Angelica walked my 2 dogs this week while I was out of town and my husband, who works overnight, was asleep. I was worried as my dog Cali can be a bit feisty to new people but she seemed to warm up to Angelica very fast! Both dogs seemed to have a great time on their walls from the pictures Angelica shared with me. She is communicative, responsive, and responsible, and we will definitely book with her again!

This was my first time having Gagandeep walk my dog, but I will surely use him again! He was on time, prompt, pleasant to talk to and got on fine with my dog! Highly recommend him! Might also add that my dog is not small. He is a big, energetic dog! And he came home happy and tired -- which is what I hoped for!

Charlie did an amazing job taking care of Nova! He was so encouraging and patient with her, helping her feel comfortable enough to go to the bathroom during their walk. He took her on a lovely, calm walk where she was able to relax, explore, and get some good exercise. By the time they got back, Nova was completely tired out in the best way—happy, settled, and ready to go right to sleep. You can tell Charlie really cares about the pets he looks after and makes sure they feel safe and well cared for. I would definitely trust him again!

As a recurring client, I can confidently say that April continues to provide the most exceptional care for our pup. Her consistency and genuine love for animals make her stand out from any other walker we’ve ever used. April is truly awesome, and we are so grateful to have her as our regular walker!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
