About: I have experience taking care of dogs because I grew up with them. Being around dogs has always felt natural to me, so I understand the basics of feeding them, walking them, playing with them, keeping them comfortable, and paying attention to what they need. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive, but I’m also playful, so I enjoy making sure dogs are not just cared for, but actually happy and engaged. I know every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I would always respect the owner’s instructions and take time to understand what works best for their dog. I’m currently in college and home for the summer, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I’m available for walks, playtime, drop-ins, and consistent care throughout the week. I’m happy to work with your dog’s routine and make scheduling easy for you. I care for pets by keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I would follow their instructions carefully, whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication, or general house rules. I want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. For walks or visits, I would stay aware of my surroundings, keep dogs secure on their leash, avoid unsafe situations, and pay attention to how they’re acting. My goal is for the pet to feel cared for and for the owner to feel relaxed knowing their dog is safe and in good hands.

Feel free to please reach out even if it seems that I'm not available! I am pretty open unless I have another schedule / bookings. About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have a playful 5-year-old cat at home who I've trained to shake hands, roll over, spin, and even play dead—yes, really! I believe in building trust and bonding with every pet through positive, calm interactions. Over the past few years, I’ve also helped care for a senior golden retriever and another friend's cat, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels. Whether your pet is energetic and curious or shy and slow-moving, I’ll meet them where they are and treat them like family. I currently offer drop-in visits and dog walking only. Photos Guaranteed! I love capturing special moments and will always send lots of pictures during each visit so you feel connected and reassured while you're away. If you’re looking for someone responsible, patient, and genuinely excited to spend time with your pet, I’d love to help. Feel free to reach out—I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I'm available Friday through Monday all day, and Tuesday to Thursday in the early mornings (7:00–9:00 AM) and evenings (7:30–8:30 PM). Let me know what works best for you—I'm happy to accommodate whenever I can! I will hold the leash tight if we meet any dogs or human on the way, if your dog is too excited I will use my body to block the sight.

Bailey was very punctual and friendly. She was patient with our dog, Gracie, who didn't always want to go for her daily walk. She patiently coaxed Gracie to try to get her to cooperate. When Gracie refused to go, Bailey played with Gracie in the backyard or brushed her and continued to interact with her. Gracie was always happy to see Bailey.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I currently have a dog of my own and understand just how much our pets mean to us—they’re family. When I moved my dad to California so I could become his full-time caregiver, bringing his dog with us was never a question. He’s an important part of our family and daily life. I previously had another beloved dog from the age of 13 through 27, giving me experience with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. I’m comfortable providing patient, attentive care and making sure each dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. As someone who genuinely loves animals, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, or simply some extra companionship, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I currently care for my own dog, so daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure he gets plenty of attention are already built into my schedule. Because I have a flexible schedule right now, I’m able to provide pets with extra attention, companionship, and care throughout the day rather than just fitting them in between other commitments. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or keeping a pet company while their owner is away, I enjoy making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I believe every pet is happiest when their routine stays as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any household rules. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while their owners are away. For walks and drop-in visits, I prioritize safety, communication, and making sure each pet’s individual needs are met. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to build trust and help them feel secure. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.

About: I’ve always loved pets especially dogs, excited to get your pet some outdoor time! I’m happy to walk any kind of pup and can promise lots of pets and positive affirmations. I work from home so my schedule is flexible, looking to get outside to break up the day and take pups out for some outdoor time and exercise. I am very observant of pets behavior and provide care based on their specific needs. I have worked with anxious pets and am comfortable with techniques to soothe pets and create a calm environment.

I was worried as my dog Cali can be a bit feisty to new people but she seemed to warm up to Angelica very fast! Both dogs seemed to have a great time on their walls from the pictures Angelica shared with me. She is communicative, responsive, and responsible, and we will definitely book with her again!

Charlie did an amazing job taking care of Nova! He was so encouraging and patient with her, helping her feel comfortable enough to go to the bathroom during their walk. He took her on a lovely, calm walk where she was able to relax, explore, and get some good exercise. By the time they got back, Nova was completely tired out in the best way—happy, settled, and ready to go right to sleep. You can tell Charlie really cares about the pets he looks after and makes sure they feel safe and well cared for. I would definitely trust him again!

  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
