Katsiaryna has been walking my pups while I'm at school for the past few months and taking care of them on the weekends when I'm out of town. They absolutely LOVE her! She sends the best pictures and I always feel like they are safe and happy in her care. I would recommend her to anyone in the SF area. She's responsible and has been so accommodating when my schedule changes and I have to cancel last minute. Thank you Katsiaryna! <3 Marisa, Ollie, and Ruby

About: I’m one of those people who spots a dog and instantly wants to go play/pet it. I have a 2 year old super mutt pittie mix. I learned a lot about training and handling dogs through her. I’m great at being consistent with training, for example when my friends are training their dog I make sure to reinforce the rules to their expectations. So please just let me know what you’re working on and I’ll make sure to keep up the training when I interact with the dog. As long as I have a list of what the dog needs I can make it happen and show lots of love. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and breeds. However, if a dog is easily agitated by other dogs I would need to know so I can have a plan for that. I will make sure to give your dog enough exercise, I love playing fetch and tug a war. I will do home visits to play with your pet or go to feed them. I can do this with cats too! I am off for the summer and have a pretty open calendar! So if you need a weekend just ask if I’m available. I love meeting new fur friends :)

About: I’ve owned a Pitbull for 15 years and most recently I’ve rescued another Pitbull pup from the Hayward dog shelter. We love our local dog parks. I am a teacher for HUSD and currently on summer break. So I have a lot of down time right now if you need a break from your dog. I take my own dog to the local dog parks and much as I can. I also walk the neighborhoods to keep her active. I have a balcony where she uses the restroom on pads and grass and we plenty of toys in the apartment to keep busy.

Together, we bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted us for years to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and care for their beloved pets. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, evening playtime, overnight stays, or weekend boarding, we work together to provide reliable, loving care. We enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets fits seamlessly into our lives. As a team, we’re able to provide reliable, attentive care and make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with us. About: I have over 8 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I truly love what I do. While I specialize in small dogs, I’m comfortable with medium-sized pups too. I’ve cared for pets of all ages — from playful 10-week-old puppies and kittens to sweet senior pets who just need gentle walks and extra attention. Every pet has their own personality, and I’m patient and experienced with animals that may be shy, energetic, or require special care (including medication administration or those who prefer being the only pet around). I love going on walks, playing fetch, visiting local parks, and spending quality time with pets so they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. (Nature walks are my favorite too!) It’s truly a privilege to care for dogs and cats, and I treat every pet like my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family soon! 🐶🐱 I am available for Cat and dog/house sitting starting January 4th, 2026. I am looking to sit with Cats but small or older dogs are fine. I am available to sit in : Peninsula, East Bay, (specfic neighborhoods I love are: Berkeley, Alameda, Piedmont, Rockridge, Temescal ), San Francisco, and surrounding areas. When I am at a clients home I treat their cat or dog with love, respect, guidance, and warmth. I approach pets for the first time slowly to give them a chance to sniff me or rub noses with me/check me out. Once I get to know the pet then I engage in play, cuddling and assuring talk.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs because I grew up with them. Being around dogs has always felt natural to me, so I understand the basics of feeding them, walking them, playing with them, keeping them comfortable, and paying attention to what they need. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive, but I’m also playful, so I enjoy making sure dogs are not just cared for, but actually happy and engaged. I know every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I would always respect the owner’s instructions and take time to understand what works best for their dog. I’m currently in college and home for the summer, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I’m available for walks, playtime, drop-ins, and consistent care throughout the week. I’m happy to work with your dog’s routine and make scheduling easy for you. I care for pets by keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I would follow their instructions carefully, whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication, or general house rules. I want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. For walks or visits, I would stay aware of my surroundings, keep dogs secure on their leash, avoid unsafe situations, and pay attention to how they’re acting. My goal is for the pet to feel cared for and for the owner to feel relaxed knowing their dog is safe and in good hands.

This was my first time having Gagandeep walk my dog, but I will surely use him again! He was on time, prompt, pleasant to talk to and got on fine with my dog! Highly recommend him! Charlie did an amazing job taking care of Nova! He was so encouraging and patient with her, helping her feel comfortable enough to go to the bathroom during their walk. He took her on a lovely, calm walk where she was able to relax, explore, and get some good exercise. By the time they got back, Nova was completely tired out in the best way—happy, settled, and ready to go right to sleep. You can tell Charlie really cares about the pets he looks after and makes sure they feel safe and well cared for. I would definitely trust him again!

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Cherryland. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cherryland. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
