About: I took care of my aunt’s dog named Batman for 8 years until my aunt moved away. Ever since I have always enjoyed taking care of animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and chickens! I currently work Sun-Thurs from 1pm to 9:30pm. I don’t have anything that needs my attention before I need to get to work! I am fully free Friday and Saturdays! I have a fenced yard and a dog park down the block. I have an old crate that can be used if needed and no other dogs or cats in the home.

About: I have a 70-pound dog who is 6 years old. She tore both of her cranial cruciate ligaments (CCL), and I took care of her when she was unable to walk during her surgery recovery. I am very comfortable with walking dogs (even large ones!), using firm but gentle commands, brushing their teeth and fur, and cleaning up after them. I am also working as a part-time Veterinary/Kennel Assistant, and through this role, I have learned to measure and record canine vitals (weight, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate); safely restrain and position dogs during vaccines, blood draws, and ultrasounds; observe canine behavior and monitor for blood pressure measurements and fluid therapy; and more! I have a very flexible schedule and I’m currently able to work most weekdays at any hour! I can adjust to whatever works best for you and your fur babies :) My primary goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your pets! I am detail-oriented, responsible, and communicative. I am truly an animal lover (all of my undergraduate education focused on working with animals, such as sea urchins, harbor seals, baby sharks, coyotes, and more!). Charlie did an amazing job taking care of Nova! He was so encouraging and patient with her, helping her feel comfortable enough to go to the bathroom during their walk. He took her on a lovely, calm walk where she was able to relax, explore, and get some good exercise. By the time they got back, Nova was completely tired out in the best way—happy, settled, and ready to go right to sleep. You can tell Charlie really cares about the pets he looks after and makes sure they feel safe and well cared for. I would definitely trust him again!

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
