If and when I do go out of the house it is only for a few hours at the most. My poodle mix is a very playful yet respectful and gentle dog. He knows when to play and when to give space. The two yards can be separated as well as indoor children gates if more management between animals is needed. I have a fenced back yard and front yard. The front yard fence is about 3 foot high, so if your dog is a jumper I would only allow in the back yard. Your fur baby is free to roam the house and sit on the furniture.

I’ve worked with different such as livestock (horses, goats, sheep, cows) and your typical domesticated pet. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so having the opportunity to watch someone else’s pet brings me tremendous joy. I currently work for a vet hospital so I am around pets 5 days a week. Working with animals honestly has improved my quality life, there’s never a bad day at work. Pet care keeps me on a routine to accomplish all my tasks for the day, and pets keep me in check. While in a clients home I always check out the home first so I can feel comfortable and see all possible exits. For pets to gain my trust I always let them sniff me first and treat them as if they were mine. I give them space when they need it. I have high respect for an owners home as well and treat it as if it were my home.
