“We booked Trevor somewhat last minute for a quick 3 day trip and we got SO lucky. He was super easy to communicate with from the very start and he gave us lots of updates and pictures of our pups which was great. What really stood out was how quickly the dogs got super calm with him, usually when someone new comes to our house they are wild for a bit but Trevor had an incredible calming energy because they settled down right away when they met him and they were super comfortable! He took detailed notes of their care instructions and asked questions about their care that we didn’t even think to share initially, it really put us at ease. Trevor took absolutely excellent care of our dogs, and our house, we will 100% be booking him again!”

“We couldn’t be more pleased and appreciative to leave our Lilly with Brittany. So comforting to know she is being cared for by such a professional and pet loving person. 5 Stars and would give her more if we could!”

“My cats warmed right up to Demi! It was a great peace of mind having her stay in my home with them so they wouldn't be bored or lonely with an empty house while I was away on a weekend trip. Demi was communicative and sent frequent updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Had a great experience. Our 2 huskies are very much like siblings, complete opposites of each other. Daryl was great at making sure everything was clear ahead of time, adapted to small situations during and communicating throughout. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.”

“Laura just watched our two pups in our home this past weekend. She was fantastic!!! Our dogs absolutely loved her, and it was so nice (and less stressful) for them to be able to stay in their own familiar space. It was truly a pleasure to meet Laura, and she brought such peace of mind knowing that our dogs were happy and well cared for while we were gone. I’m so glad we found Laura on Rover. I highly recommend her”

“Aaron took care of my fur babies for 3 days. He kept me updated the entire time. I could tell the pups were well taken care of. He stayed here, and you wouldn’t know it so I guess he’s super tidy. I will definitely use his service again!”

“From the moment we met Elizabeth we saw she was a professional. She is a natural animal lover and treated our fur baby exactly as we would have. She took our dog for walks, played with her, and let her sleep with her. We really appreciated that and the updates and pictures she sent along the way.”

“For a second time, Daria took great care of our dog (and house) and we received plenty of photos & updates throughout our ~2 weeks away. I'm sure Momo will gladly have her come hang out again in the future.”

About: Hello! Thank you for considering me for your pet care needs. I am a dependable, compassionate individual, and love meeting as well as caring for dogs. I'm currently in FinTech and my partner works in government, but we LOVE dog boarding as it gives us the opportunity to care for cute pups and to give our dog, Zoe, a new f(u)riend. Zoe is our 6 year old golden lab mix who is very gentle and has a great temperament. She gets along well with other dogs and is even willing to share her toys and treats! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so the health and well being of my pet and those that I watch are always a priority. My partner goes into the office 4 days/week, but after work we take the dogs on a walk/hike and also on weekends (weather pending). I have a large fenced yard with turf and a magnet screen set up, so your pup will have free access to the backyard and turf, but let us know if supervision is needed when they are in the backyard. We also sometimes pet sit for our parents as well as friends. We love dogs and treat them as though they are family members. I grew up with several dogs my whole life of different breeds and have experience caring for both small and medium dogs. The dogs that come into our house are given a lot of attention, pets, comfort, and love. We want our new family members to feel comfortable in our home, for that reason, we normally only board one dog at a time. Our max is two dogs, only if we have boarded the dogs before and are familiar with their temperament and socialization. If you prefer to not have another dog boarded during the stay, please let us know and we can accommodate. If you have any questions about us or would like to learn more about our backgrounds, please feel free to reach out! We look forward to hearing from you!
“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

“Jesika and Jyhikeen sat for our 3 rambunctious cats for 10 days, and were wonderful! Great, caring communication, daily photos, and we came home to a clean house and happy cats. We'd absolutely hire them again.”

“Overall, Sabrina did a great job with Zac, our shy 9-year-old Border Collie mix. She understands dogs and she gently let Zac warm up to her the first day or so after which they had a super 10 days together. Zac was in great spirits when we returned and our home was in good shape - we wouldn't hesitate to ask Sabrina to sit with Zac again in the future, if she is available.”

“This is our second time working with Diana and we can’t recommend her enough. Our old dogs can be pretty high maintenance, but she does a great job caring for them when we’re away. Thank you!”

“Jada was so amazing with Flo! She took the time to come over for a meet and greet before staying with Flo and Flo loved her right away. She even came to my dog meet-up group so she could meet the other dogs and their owners. Flo was a bit shy at first but Jada quickly won her over. By the end of the stay Flo was snuggling with her. My house was immaculate and she even got my mail, brought in packages and put Flo's Frontline treatment on her. I can't say enough about using Jada for any of your dog care needs!”

About: Dog walking and dog sitting was my first ever job! I have dog walked and dog sat for my friends, my family, and worked for local dog walking company for a couple years—taking care and walking multiple dogs a week. I have also cat sat for many years and volunteered at an animal shelter and have lots of experience with different kinds of dogs and cats. I love my pets and would love to care of yours like they are my own! I’m currently working part time from home and have availability during the day for dog walks. I am also available on some weeks/weekends for dog and cat sitting! I have a fenced yard and a very walkable neighborhood for dogs. I can crate dogs and take dogs on walks. I also have had dogs in this home and currently have 1 friendly cat.
“My chihuahua and sisters German shepherd/black lab mix loved having Angelique stay with them during our weekend away. Angelique was so kind to do a visit ahead of time, was very communicative, and organized her schedule around our dogs. My dog loves to cuddle and definitely got all of the love from Angelique. We’d love to have her back to stay at our place with cooper in the future.”

“Lena did a great job taking care of Frankie when I was on a long trip to Portugal! I could tell Frankie was very comfortable with Lena when I saw a pic of her sleeping on her lap. Lena took her on hiking adventures too. My home was spotless when I got home. I will gladly use Lena’s services again if she is available!”

Brookshire pet parents share their Rover experiences
Destiny was great to work with and will be our go to as much as possible. She stayed at the house for the weekend and Millie had an amazing time with her. She was a happy girl when we got home. Destiny was responsive and kept us updated. She kept Millie engaged and on schedule (which is amazing for a puppy) and our house was in perfect condition. We feel lucky to have found a trustworthy caregiver!

Bella stayed at our house to take care of our dog Maggie this weekend, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. She was friendly, communicative, and sent us lots of pictures. Maggie was clearly well taken care of and was happy and relaxed when we got back. Bella also left our house in great condition. We highly recommend her for anyone in need of a reliable and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Bella!
