Dog Lover & Veterinary Assistant!
I have a 70-pound dog who is 6 years old. She tore both of her cranial cruciate ligaments (CCL), and I took care of her when she was unable to walk during her surgery recovery. I am very comfortable with walking dogs (even large ones!), using firm but gentle commands, brushing their teeth and fur, and cleaning up after them. I am also working as a part-time Veterinary/Kennel Assistant, and through this role, I have learned to measure and record canine vitals (weight, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate); safely restrain and position dogs during vaccines, blood draws, and ultrasounds; observe canine behavior and monitor for blood pressure measurements and fluid therapy; and more!

My primary goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your pets! I am detail-oriented, responsible, and communicative. I am truly an animal lover (all of my undergraduate education focused on working with animals, such as sea urchins, harbor seals, baby sharks, coyotes, and more!). I have also had pets for most of my life, and they are truly part of my family. I care for my pets by ensuring that they are happy, healthy, and stimulated. If I had the honor to take care of your pets, I would absolutely do the same! :)

Amelia is the sweetest & most reliable sitter for your fur baby! Given her extensive experience working with animals, I fully trust her to handle any situation that may arise. She has done a wonderful job taking care of my precious (but crazy) puppy, Tizzy. She is incredibly diligent and always gets everything right! I have no doubt that her future fur customers are in good hands. Her compassion stands out and she goes above and beyond in taking care of Tizzy. Amelia is very responsible and is always communicative to me and my husband. I would absolutely recommend Amelia! She is the absolute best pet sitter in the area :)

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule and I’m currently able to work most weekdays at any hour! I can adjust to whatever works best for you and your fur babies :)
