About: I grew up on a Ranch and have owned almost every type of animal including horses and livestock. I have given riding lessons and fed all the neighbors animals on Findlay rd. In the community For 10 years during my youth. I was President of 4H during my youth and also Horee leader and showed horses for over 30 years in CA. As for domestic animals I have owned 2 dogs Doxies (one mini, one full sized) most recently which have passed, a Siberian Husky, 2 Labs, and a Siamese cat. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, starting with Daisy, a cocker spaniel I got back in second grade. She lived to a happy old age and even had puppies. I kept one, a cockapoo named Lucas, and he’s still with me today along with his sister Bella. They’re almost 13 now, so I know senior dogs well, plus all the energy and walks that younger ones need. Over the years I’ve dog sat and house sat for family and friends, with everything from small dogs to big breeds like a Kangal and a pit/bulldog mix. I’m comfortable with all kinds, though small to medium dogs are my sweet spot. I’m also happy to handle the little stuff, like ear cleaning, that some breeds need. Whether your dog is a puppy, full of energy, or slowing down a bit, they’ll be in calm and caring hands with me. My schedule shifts week to week since I’m balancing work and school, but overall it gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m generally free most mornings and have stretches throughout the day to check in, walk dogs, or spend real time with cats rather than just rushing through visits. For house sitting, I plan my hours around your pet’s routine, not the other way around. I’ve had pets my whole life, so a calm and safe environment is second nature to me. About: My daughter and I miss our Rocky. And we both absolutely love dogs. We decided to join rover so we can take care of dogs, get to play with them, and earn some extra money. My calendar is up-to-date. For meet and greets, weekends work best. Or after 4ish pm on weekdays. You may find us hanging out at the Del Mar dog park in San Ramon. We needed a sitter for our two cats for a one-month trip oversea. We decided to give a try to Rover and found Janet. Janet's profile is a perfect match for us. Jax (8-year-old Pitbull) took to her immediately, and he's very discerning. ;-) Katherine went the extra mile and stayed with him while our home was under construction (for a remodel). She kept Jax on his schedule, administered his necessary medications, and ensured he took all his daily walks. Yanhong did an exceptional job of taking care of Chief while we went on vacation. Each day she sent us updates on how Chief was doing, and darling pictures and videos of Chief. He looked so happy. Yanhong administered Chief's medications 4/day and took him on his daily walks. She is so conscientious and made sure he was eating properly, taking his meds, sleeping well and playing through-out the day. She also left our home spotless.
