“Bailey was very punctual and friendly. She was patient with our dog, Gracie, who didn't always want to go for her daily walk. She patiently coaxed Gracie to try to get her to cooperate. When Gracie refused to go, Bailey played with Gracie in the backyard or brushed her and continued to interact with her. Gracie was always happy to see Bailey.”

“Thank you sooo much for taking my boys on a walk! Much needed and I loved getting updates on them after! Definitely gives me feel so much relief while I’m away from home ☺️”

“Zcarina was able to watch my dog on short notice and did a wonderful job! She was very responsive, friendly, professional and attentive to my dog’s needs. Her updates included multiple pics of my dog, which were nice to see while I was away. I will definitely use Zcarina for future requests!”

About: As the proud owner of a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois, I’ve developed a deep love and understanding of animal care. He’s my first dog, but my passion for watching over and nurturing animals has been lifelong. I believe exercise is key to a happy, healthy pet. I regularly take my dog on long walks and would ensure the same for your furry friend. Whether it’s playing, petting, or just spending quality time, I genuinely enjoy creating moments that bring joy to animals. Cleanliness and grooming are also priorities for me. I love brushing my dog and ensuring his coat stays healthy while keeping our home fur-free. You can trust that your pet’s hygiene will always be well cared for in my hands. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I would treat them as if they were my own. I have a Belgian Malinois which is one of the most active and energetic dog breads. I care for him daily from multiple walks, to feeding, brushing, and playing with him. I prioritize his well-being all while working a full time job. I work from 7 to 5 so we are up and at it by 4 AM. Then I come home to take care of my Maui. For clients, my availability will be from Monday to Sunday. I do not work from home but I work very close to my office so I could drop by in the afternoon to take your fur baby out to pee and stretch. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine while respecting your home. Here’s how I approach pet care: 1. Follow Your Instructions I adhere to the feeding schedules, dietary requirements, exercise routines, and any specific instructions you provide. Maintaining consistency is key to keeping pets comfortable and stress-free. 2. Keep Their Routine Pets thrive on routine, so I ensure walks, playtime, and naps happen as expected. I also take the time to engage with them in ways they enjoy, such as games or cuddling. 3. Maintain Hygiene I clean up after the pet, ensuring their spaces (e.g., feeding area, litter box, bedding) are always neat. If they need grooming, like brushing or wiping paws, I handle it with care. 4. Provide Plenty of Exercise and Attention Whether it’s walks, playtime in the yard, or indoor activities, I make sure they get the physical activity and mental stimulation they need to stay happy and healthy. 5. Ensure Safety I keep a close eye on them to prevent accidents, secure any areas they should avoid, and monitor for signs of illness or distress. 6. Respect Your Home I leave your home as I found it, keeping spaces clean and secure. I treat it with the utmost respect, ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease while away. Ultimately, my goal is to provide the love, care, and attention your pet deserves while maintaining the trust and comfort of their home environment.

Rick has been a great dog walker for my 5 yr old lab. Rick is punctual and accommodating. She was very apprehensive at the beginning but he managed to get her to like him. I can see that he truly loves dogs and genuinely is interested in making them comfortable. My lab is very happy to see him and waits to be walked.
Jianan did an amazing job taking care of my dog while I was at work. He put a lot of care into looking after our dog, sending us photos and videos. My dog was so happy, and I highly recommend Jianan to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter! I’d definitely book again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
