“Allyson was amazing with Pumpkin! Not only did she walk him, but she also helped brush his hair, gave him a treat, and made sure his water and food were all set. Super thoughtful and attentive—Pumpkin was happy and relaxed when I got home. Highly recommend!”

“We have been using Charlise consistently to walk our 11 month old puppy. She pays close attention to detail! I look forward to her updates and great stories after she completes each walks.”

“Tom took the time for an introduction before booking to meet our dog and learn about her needs and quirks. He has been very patient with her and has given her the time she needs to warm up to him. He communicates concerns well, so that we can reach a mutually agreeable plan and sends status updates proactively. We’ve been pleased with his walking services so far and would recommend!”

“Amy has been a wonderful dog walker for my golden retriever over a couple of months when I had late nights after work! My dog loves her! Amy does an amazing job at keeping me in the loops about what they did, and any funny stories or behavior changes or potty changes she notes in my dog. Would recommend!”

About: I currently focus exclusively on dog walking and bring a calm, safety-first approach to every visit. As a nursing student and part-time consultant, I’m used to following instructions closely, paying attention to small details, and communicating clearly — all of which help me provide dependable, thoughtful care. While I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve spent plenty of time around dogs through friends and family and genuinely enjoy being around them. I’m mindful of leash control, surroundings, and each dog’s comfort level, and I take the time to learn what works best for every individual dog. I always prioritize meet-and-greets so both you and your dog feel comfortable before we get started. During walks, I keep things structured but relaxed — never rushed — with attention to pacing, safety, and the environment. After each walk, you can expect a clear update so you know how everything went. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your dog is in attentive, responsible hands, and for your dog to enjoy a calm, positive walk every time. I currently work part-time remotely and take most of my classes online, which allows me a flexible schedule to provide reliable dog walks throughout the week. On weekdays, I am available in the mornings and early afternoons, and weekends are fully open, allowing for multiple walks if needed. Because of my flexible routine, I can provide consistent, punctual, and attentive walks, always following the owner’s instructions and making sure each dog gets safe, unrushed time outdoors. I plan my schedule carefully to accommodate both pets and owners, and I always leave buffer time between walks to ensure punctuality and reliability. During every dog walk, I prioritize safety, trust, and a controlled environment. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep the dog securely leashed at all times, and stay aware of surroundings, other dogs, and traffic. I pay close attention to each dog’s body language, energy level, and comfort, adjusting the pace and distance accordingly. I also communicate clearly with owners before and after each walk, providing updates or photos so they know their dog is safe and happy. I plan walks with buffer time to avoid rushing, and I make sure the dog’s comfort and well-being are the top priority from start to finish.

About: Hi 🐶 & 🐱 parents, My name is Noelle and always love animals. I have been around pets my entire life and have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. Growing up, my family always had dogs and a cat, and we still do to this day. I helped feed, walk, play with, and care for our pets from such a young age. My childhood cat is even still with us! I have also cared for my neighbor's pets, providing attention, companionship, and lots of love while their owners were away. One thing, I enjoy taking photos and videos of the pets I care for and sending updates to their owners, so they can feel connected and reassured while they're apart from their furry family members. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and individual needs. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, happy, and loved while in my care. I am currently available and have a flexible schedule. Caring for pets has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I make time in my daily routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Throughout the week, I also make extra time for longer walks, enrichment activities, and providing updates to pet parents. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and look forward to making pet care a regular part of my schedule while giving each pet the attention and care they deserve. When I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I like to take care of all responsibilities first, such as feeding, walks, potty breaks, and any other requested tasks. After that, I enjoy spending quality time with the pets through play, companionship, and positive interaction. I do my best to keep each pet's routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable, secure, and less stressed while their family is away. I carefully follow written instructions and pay close attention to each pet's individual needs. I prefer a calm and patient approach, allowing pets to adjust at their own pace while building trust and helping them feel at ease. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Additionally, I have my own vehicle so there are no time constraints in scheduling. I will be able to crate your pets if needed, but if they prefer a cuddle I will happily oblige! About: Hi! My name is Renee, and my passion for animal care began with my rescue dog, Brownie. Over the past 3 years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even goats & farm animals of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. I have experience with: • Puppies, senior dogs, kittens, and multi-pet households • Large dogs (80+ lbs) and working breeds • Rescue dogs and reactive dogs • Administering oral medications Some of my previous pet care experience includes: • Caring for a Shiba Inu requiring oral medication for 1.5 months • Dog sitting 4 dogs from the same household for 3 weeks • Caring for 2 cats and 1 kitten from the same household for 1 month • Walking, jogging and hiking with dogs • Volunteering with Furry Friends Rescue and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue I’m especially comfortable working with rescue and reactive dogs. My own dog has reactivity challenges, so I understand the importance of patience and picking up on body language before a reaction happens. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’m happy to reinforce any training methods or routines you already use with your dog. My approach to pet care is centered around respect for each animal’s individual personality and boundaries. I prioritize clear communication and provide frequent updates and photos so owners feel informed and reassured while they’re away. I love meeting new dogs and cats and learning about their quirks, and I hope to meet your furry friend(s) soon! I understand my profile is new, so I don’t have as many testimonials. I have done work exchanges in the past on Workaway and WWOOF, and have attached those reviews as screenshots. You can also request references from me. I will be fully available for the entire month of August 2026 for any of your pet care needs, including drop-ins, walks, and overnight care. I take the time to get to know each dog by asking lots of questions and observing their personality and play style. I love playing with dogs, my own dog often mistakes me for one because I match his energy! Working with reactive dogs has taught me that every dog has their own boundaries and unique personality. I never treat one dog the same as another and am always respectful of your pet’s limits.
“Isabel was great with my two large dogs! She took time out of her day to do a meet and greet and was very helpful in making sure the dogs were taken care of! Looking forward to booking more walks with her!”
About: Hello, my family and I are huge animal lovers. We have been pet sitting for for a little over 3 of years now. We travel for long periods so don't have our own pets. This is why when your pet comes to our house, he/she will get spoiled with attention. We try and keep animals that are smaller than 50-55 lbs so they can enjoy free space in the house. I sometimes work at a school so my weekday calendar is usually blocked . Dogs will get lots of exercise when they're with us. about every 2 hours. They are allowed up on the sofa so come cuddle with us. Looking forward to meeting your fur family. I work at a school part time. So daytime usually they will hang out with my husband who works from home. Then afternoon onwards, myself and my two extremely gentle and sweet teen kids will be home to give the pet our undecided attention. Our house is fully fenced all around and pets will always be inside the house unless they want to sun bathe in the back yard.

Zach has been walking our 5-year-old fox red Labrador, Ruby for awhile now, and we couldn’t be happier. Ruby absolutely loves Zach — she gets excited the moment he arrives, which tells us everything we need to know. He’s reliable, communicative, and clearly great with dogs. Ruby comes home happy and well-exercised every time. We highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog walker.

Carly has been amazing with my dog Lady. She is reliable, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. Lady took to her right away and always comes back from walks happy and well exercised. Carly also keeps me updated, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to walk or care for their dogs.

Stephen was wonderful! We loved reading the Rover cards he would write us and the pictures are always so cute. Our dog is one of the most important things in our life and we are so grateful for the care he received with Stephen. Steve gave us ease of mind while we are gone and did a great job with our pup. It was such a great relief knowing there was a reliable sitter we could trust to care for our little guy. Thanks Steve!

Rick has been a great dog walker for my 5 yr old lab. Rick is punctual and accommodating. She was very apprehensive at the beginning but he managed to get her to like him. I can see that he truly loves dogs and genuinely is interested in making them comfortable. My lab is very happy to see him and waits to be walked.
Jianan did an amazing job taking care of my dog while I was at work. He put a lot of care into looking after our dog, sending us photos and videos. My dog was so happy, and I highly recommend Jianan to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter! I’d definitely book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
