About: I've lived on a small farm since I was 4 years old and I've been caring for animals since then. At age 16, I began house sitting/pet sitting for various families who trusted me with a wide range of animals, including cats and dogs. My family has always included multiple pets and I love them each dearly. Every animal deserves the most care and love possible. Pets have my whole heart and I want nothing but the best for them. I can confidently say that I know very well how to care for any dog or cat. I currently have a full time job but I am free in the late afternoons and evenings so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet and give them all the love they need. I will be available to spend as much time with them as you request and when I am caring for them, they will get my full attention. Your pets are my priority. When I am caring for a pet at the client's home, I walk into the situation understanding that the pet may not trust me at first because they are on their home turf and they have never met me before. I am always careful to use a quiet and calm voice while not making any sudden movements until the pet has shown they are no longer afraid. I've learned that it helps to use the pet's name, talk to them without fear, and keep a safe distance until they've learned to trust me. Once the pet is comfortable with my presence, I will go about caring for them and making sure they get lots of love and attention.

About: I’ve always had a huge heart for animals since I was a kid. I treat pets as if they were my own and respect their space when needed. I’ve worked with different such as livestock (horses, goats, sheep, cows) and your typical domesticated pet. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so having the opportunity to watch someone else’s pet brings me tremendous joy. I currently work full time at a vet hospital Tuesday-Saturdays so it is really nice to be able to come home after work to something warm and fluffy. While in a clients home I always check out the home first so I can feel comfortable and see all possible exits. For pets to gain my trust I always let them sniff me first and treat them as if they were mine. I give them space when they need it. I have high respect for an owners home as well and treat it as if it were my home.
