Growing up, my family always had dogs and a cat, and we still do to this day. I helped feed, walk, play with, and care for our pets from such a young age. My childhood cat is even still with us! About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and genuinely enjoy caring for them. When I was younger, I attended an SPCA summer camp where I learned about animal care and responsibility, which helped grow my passion for pets. I grew up around dogs and had my family dog for 16 years, helping with his daily care and giving him lots of love and attention. He was my best friend and I loved him more then anything. I have also worked as a nanny and often cared for the families' dogs when needed. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with dogs. About: I grew up with big active dogs so I understand their needs and habits including affection, energy, and naughty tricks. I volunteer at an animal shelter so am well versed in a variety of dog breeds and dogs with unique histories. Because I am a grad student, I have the flexibility to be at home with your pet while I study. I have acted as a cat sitter as well and have come to love them too! I do not have experience with new kittens so adult cats preferred please. This summer I am fully at your disposal. I am on summer break between grad school programs. You can expect full time attention to your pets. Will update come fall. Your guidelines are my rules! I am happy to crate your pets, let them roam free, or have them sleep in the bed with me (more common request than you’d think) LOL. If you are local, I am happy to let your pup have some outside off leash time in my own fenced in yard, but I do not board dogs in my own home as I live with family while in grad school. I am happy to stay at your home or if you are local, just swing by for hangouts, walks, and bathroom breaks. If you are outside of Pleasanton, overnight stays at the dog’s home are preferred due to travel time. I am also capable of administering dog medications including pills and oral liquids, just leave me instructions!

About: I’ve always had a huge heart for animals since I was a kid. I treat pets as if they were my own and respect their space when needed. I’ve worked with different such as livestock (horses, goats, sheep, cows) and your typical domesticated pet. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so having the opportunity to watch someone else’s pet brings me tremendous joy. I currently work full time at a vet hospital Tuesday-Saturdays so it is really nice to be able to come home after work to something warm and fluffy. While in a clients home I always check out the home first so I can feel comfortable and see all possible exits. For pets to gain my trust I always let them sniff me first and treat them as if they were mine. I give them space when they need it. I have high respect for an owners home as well and treat it as if it were my home.

About: Since the time I had my pet for the last 4 years, I can’t disagree to say I secretly love him more than my daughter😁. They are super cute, notorious, kind with those forgiving eyes. It would be fun to have your fur babies playing in my backyard and staying in our house. My daughter loves dogs, my pet is calm but friendly upon his mood and as a team, my family would love to host your fur babies. I am a software engineer by profession and working remotely. I am full time available at home, when the care is needed for the dogs. I have a playpen along with a large dog crate, if separation is needed. Backyard is fenced and is super secure. My daughter and I will walk the dogs.
