A typical day
I enjoy matching the vibe of the pets I meet. For more energetic types I’ll play with them with their favorite toys. Others may just prefer some company. I always respect boundaries, but especially for our shy guys who just need me to help with the basics like food/water/potty breaks/cleaning the litter box.

My background working at a veterinary office and volunteering for a medical animal rescue equips me with the skills to provide the best care for your pet(s). From nursing bottle babies to administering medications for the elderly, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages. I’m more than happy to provide updates, especially for those extended trips!

My dog Indy absolutely ADORES Julie! My dog gets as excited to see her as she does when I get home which makes my mom heart so happy. I know my Indy is well taken care of, safe, and happy when Julie is sitting for us. Julie is punctual, respectful of my space, and very easy to talk too! I trust her, especially that she has her own pets at home. I highly recommend her to sit for your pets!
Julie is an exceptional care taker. She worked for me at my veterinary clinic before moving away. She is caring and gentle as well as observant and intelligent. I would not hesitate to allow her to care for my pets and I have done exactly that when she was local to me. Trust me, you will not be disappointed in her care for your babies.
Julie was a great pet sitter! I was out of the country for two weeks and she stayed at my house with my two cats for the entire timeframe. One of my cats is very shy, but he trusted her enough to come out and say hi. I received periodic updates and knew she understood the importance of keeping them inside as well, since they are indoor only cats. Both my house and my cats were in the same condition as when I left, and I will definitely use her for future vacations. I cannot recommend her enough!
