About: I’ve been an animal lover since day one! 🐾 I started volunteering at animal shelters at 12 and have cared for cats and dogs ever since. I currently have 3 cats of my own, so I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your fur babies. ❤️ I’m currently available: Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM - 8:45 PM Weekends & Holidays: Available anytime I’m happy to work around your pet’s schedule and needs! 🐾 I follow your pet’s routine and all the instructions you leave, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll keep you updated throughout each visit, and you can expect a daily summary with pictures so you always know how your fur baby is doing.

About: I’ve been providing pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits for over 10 years. Every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to adapt to their individual needs. I strive to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own! I’m available during the weekdays and weekends to care for your pet. I am able to give my full time and attention to your pet. I love to have a meeting with you and your pet before I take care or walk your pet! This is so I can get a good understanding of what you are looking for and how I can best take care of your pet.

About: Hi, I’m Cameron. I’m a lifelong dog owner with a very flexible schedule this summer, and I’m offering dog walking and drop-in visits. I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, from large breeds like Rottweilers and Akitas to small ones like Chihuahuas and Mini Aussies. My own dog is a 12-year-old rescue Golden Retriever mix that I’ve had for a decade. Through caring for her, I've gotten very comfortable with senior dog care, administering oral medication, and adjusting to slower-paced routines. I know every dog is different. Some need a good long walk to burn off energy, while others just want a quiet companion and a slow walk around the block. I’m patient and calm, which tends to work really well with dogs that are a bit timid or slow to warm up to new people, especially men. As a teacher on summer break, my schedule is very open and flexible. I have full availability throughout the day, evenings, and weekends between 11am and 10pm, allowing me to provide consistent care and companionship when your dog needs it most. I live in Union City and have my own reliable transportation, so I can easily travel to your home anywhere in the area. Because I am not tied to a typical 9-to-5 office routine, I can offer your pet more than just a quick check-in—I am available for extended walks, midday play sessions, or simply staying present to keep a senior dog or anxious pup company (~30 minutes, if needed). Whether you need a regular weekday routine or last-minute weekend help, I can easily integrate your pet’s needs into my day. Safety and reliability are my top priorities. As a longtime rescue owner and university professional, I treat every pet with the same vigilance and care I give my own. In Your Home & On Walks: I am a respectful guest and a focused handler. I provide my own reliable transportation and come prepared with spare leashes and waste bags. During walks, I am hyper-aware of surroundings to ensure a safe, stress-free experience. In My Home: My environment is fully pet-proofed and secure, featuring a fenced-in yard with no environmental risks. Because of my flexible summer schedule, your dog will enjoy constant supervision and a calm, climate-controlled space to relax. Trust & Communication: I strictly follow all care instructions—from meal timings to medication—and provide regular photo updates so you always have peace of mind.
“Jen has watched our cats a couple of times now, and we trust her completely. Even for quick drop-in visits, she’s reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. Each of our cats has a different personality, and Jen is attentive to all of them making sure everyone is fed, safe, and getting individual attention. We came home to relaxed, well cared for cats and a clean space, which says everything. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“Melissa is amazing. She is always on time and communicative about her visits. I would really recommend her if you want your pets to be taken care of while you’re away.”

“I had to ask Chloe to feed and visit my cats on a very short notice. She performed the tasks with ease and the cats appeared groomed and well taken care of. Appreciate you Chloe!”

“Veronica was an amazing carer for our cats while we were out of town! I was happy to receive plenty of updates and photos during the check-in. I can feel confident that my cats received plenty of love, attention, and playtime while I was away. Thanks, Veronica! 🐱🐈🐈⬛”

“We have used Elena twice now, each time for 10 days drop-ins to primarily feed our dogs. She communicates well and very reliable. I feel at ease when we were away that our fur babies have been fed. Highly recommend Elena!”
About: I am proud to be the 'first-call' sitter for my friends and family. They know that when their pets are with me, they aren’t just being 'watched'—they are being cared for by someone who understands their unique personality and needs. This reputation for reliability and genuine love is something I bring to every new dog I meet. Because I work part-time in home-based sales, my schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to make your dog’s care the centerpiece of my day. Your pup won’t just be "staying" here; they’ll be integrated into a stable, supervised routine. Morning Momentum: We start the day early with a long walk or backyard play session. My experience raising Poodles and Doodles has taught me that a tired dog is a happy dog!
“Jiaji is amazing as always with Charlie! I can tell Charlie had such a wonderful time, and Jiaji’s report cards are always very thorough and such a joy to read. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure your pup has a fun, enriching time!”

“Conscientious, caring, reliable and trustworthy! We were extremely pleased with the care Brianna provided to our 3 cats. She understood all instructions, always responded to all communication, and followed a rather complicated set of instructions perfectly. We highly recommend Brianna's services and would not hesitate to use her in the future. She earned and deserves the 5 star rating”

About: I absolutely love animals. I've grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have two cats at home. Previously experienced with caring for my senior dog who had CKD. I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments as I'm currently working as a vet assistant and studying to be a registered veterinary technician. I recognize that every pet parent has their individualized way of caring for their pet and I strive to support that. Your furry kid means a lot and you should feel confident and comfortable with their care. I currently work 4 day weeks, 10 hours a day. I have three days throughout the week and nights after work that are available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting. I do my best to maintain a safe environment, staying aware of harmful materials, chemicals or products that a pet could get into. Removing or storing these items safely to avoid any negative exposure. Especially for young pets (and labs) that will eat anything.

About: Hi! I’m Divya, a big dog lover and the proud owner of a Husky named Yukon, so I’m very comfortable caring for active and energetic dogs. Huskies need a lot of exercise and attention, which has given me great experience with long walks, playtime, and understanding different dog personalities. Over the years my husband and I also watched many friends’ dogs for free while they were away for a day or a weekend. Because of that, I’ve had experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I live in the East Bay and love taking dogs on long walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks so they can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. Whether your dog needs a walk, a quick bathroom break, or someone to spend time with them while you’re out of town, I’d be happy to help. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and always try to follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible. Just let me know what your dog likes, their habits, and anything I should be aware of so I can make sure they have a great experience. I’d love to help take care of your dog and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I’m currently working from home a few times a week and available for weekend boardings. My husband and I usually are home during the week. Weekends we usually spend a lot of time with our husky. He’s super friendly not overly talkative dog and loves all dogs of all sizes. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and have flexibility to take in a crate or use my dogs large one. We take our dog out 4-5 times a day depending on the day.
About: Our biggest advantage is that we have no pets of our own, so we can offer exclusive, one-dog-at-a-time care. This is especially suitable for dogs who are anxious, dog-selective, reactive around other animals, or simply prefer human companionship. I’m a working professional, while my mom stays at home and absolutely loves dogs. We care for every guest together, so your dog receives plenty of company, attention, and affection throughout the day. Together, we have experience hosting more than 50 dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. We live in a pet-friendly building with a beautiful dog park downstairs and typically provide morning, lunchtime, after-work, and evening walks based on your dog’s routine and needs. Exclusive single-dog boarding is available for an additional 20%. If this option is not requested, we may host up to two compatible dogs at a time. Please share any behavioral needs or triggers with us in advance so we can provide a safe and comfortable stay. My mom Fang stays at home so she is able to look after your dog during the day and go on as many walks as your dog needs. We do the morning and evening walks together. I have a two-floor studio apartment where your dog can access freely. We have a dog friendly community in the gated neighbourhood with a beautiful dog-park right across the street.
About: I've been around dogs since I was 4 years old and have been taking care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has relied on me to feed, walk, and groom our dogs. I can take care of dogs at any life stages. My own dog is a senior (13 yrs old) and I have been caring for him since he was a puppy. I have 3 years of experience dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting for clients professionally. I'm currently in a grad program at CSUEB, and am typically available for most afternoons/evenings. I’m available on the weekends and to house sit as well. If you need me to care for your pet inside your own home, I would require to meet with you and your pet first to go over your pet's specific care instructions. I will maintain open and clear communication with you during the time I am caring for your pet and provide updates on how they are doing.
About: Hi!! I’m Pamela and I’m currently a student pilot looking to spend my free time with fur babies! I have 2 of the sweetest 2 year old kitties at home, worked at a vet clinic for a little over 2 years and have experience with all kinds of pets except reptiles. I know how to administer vaccines, subcutaneous IV fluids and medications. I love to go on walks and do drop in visits. I bring churus for cats as treats as well as yummy doggie treats but of course just let me know if they are allergic to anything🤍 You may rest assured your furry bestie has the proper care they need and I may sneak in a little hugs and kisses !! I’m a student pilot based at home and have a very flexible schedule. I travel almost every month so I will make sure to keep my schedule up to date on days I am unavailable! I do not offer doggy day care in my home but since I do drop in visits I bring toys and treats for your fur babies ! Also every fur baby is different in feeding schedules so just let me know what your routine is and I will more than happy to accommodate.
“Jasmine was a great choice for watching our pets while we were on vacation. She came over a couple of times prior to the trip to make sure that she understood everything and it helped the pets get comfortable with her. While we were gone, she came on time every day and sent plenty of pictures. I would use her services again without a doubt. Thanks Jasmine!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Union City
Han is an amazing cat sitter! She is always punctual, communicates really well, and sends lots of photos and updates, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. Most importantly, she genuinely takes the time to befriend my cats and make them feel comfortable. My cats absolutely love her, and it’s clear that they enjoy having her around. I highly recommend Han to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to look after their pets!

Jennifer was amazing! She did just a few visits for a short business trip but I felt so confident and able to be fully present for work. Great communication and mature decision-making, and seemed to really enjoy taking care of my boys. I'm booking her for an upcoming vacation already. :)

Jill was wonderful. She was so patient with my shy cats and made sure they ate! She also cleaned up after them when they were messy. I really appreciated all the great photos. This was the first time my cats and I had a non family member take care of the cats, and Jill took care of my anxiety as well as my cats’ needs.

Jinhao was a pleasure to work with! He is very easy to communicate with and very responsive, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. He arrived right on time and it’s obvious he has a lot of experience and a genuine love for animals. My cat Sumo took to him almost immediately! Jinhao took care of all the essentials: feeding, fresh water, and scooping the litter, and also spent quality time playing with Sumo. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such good hands. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future.

Mila is very sweet, punctual, and flexible to work with. My cats went straight to her during our meet-and-greet, which I had never seen them do with a stranger before. She is a great communicator and took tons of pictures and videos during her visits. My older cat has a history of UTIs, and my other cat occasionally has loose stools, so Mila carefully reported the quality of their pee and poop in the litter box each time. When the weather was warm, she made sure the temperature in the house was comfortable. She has great attention to detail, and my cats love her! Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
