About: I've been raised to love animals since childhood, and we've had numerous dogs and cats at home growing up. My mother taught me a great deal about treating animals with care and love. I am retired and am available for cat sitting on weekdays between 8 am to 5 pm. I look forward to doting on and pampering your precious ones when they are under my care. With utmost care and attention in your own home. I know that cats are happiest in their own home, doing their own routines. Their comfort is my top priority.

About: I got my first dog, Cookie, in 2017, but I had birds and fish as pets prior. I took care of most of the toys, treats, food and vet care for him. He is now around 11 and although I've moved out of the family home, I'm helping my parents transition him to senior care level: watching out for his joints and diet mostly. I've since moved in with my partner who has a 4 year old Corgi. He is a friendly, but high energy pup who would benefit from having other dogs around to play with. I sometimes dog sit my family dog with the corgi, so I am well versed in juggling puppy energy and training alongside senior care. I have a hobby photography background, so expect photo updates of your fur babies! 9/7 Mon ( Labor Day): FREE ALL DAY I'm currently mostly available on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) and holidays. Only looking to board/daycare one dog at a time right now, just so I don't overwhelm my own dog. May increase to more than one in the future! Mon-Thurs: Daycare/House sitting: None. Boarding: Drop-off after 5pm Drop in visits, dog walking: Nights only, 8pm onwards. Fri/Sat/Sun availability: Usually free all day for all offered services. Limited availability: 8/22: Free 5pm onwards. 8/29: Free 8pm onwards. 8/30: Free 5pm onwards. 9/5 Sat (Labor Day weekend): Free 3pm onwards. 9/6 Sun (Labor Day weekend): Free 6pm onwards. We have basic grooming equipment, if needed, to file nails, shave paw pads, and brush out fur. Weekends, I am able to spend more time with pets, like go on longer walks and visit pet friendly places (if you're ok with that). I have a fenced yard with grass/concrete area and an energetic Corgi for your dog to play with! I'm very respectful in others' homes and will strive to leave everything the way I found it or better. I am super organized and love relying on making to-do lists to keep track of all my tasks and responsibilities. I have a whiteboard dedicated for this at my home, but use my phone when I'm outside or in other's homes. I'm open to both crate trained and not crate-trained dogs. For cats, I make sure the litterbox is always clean and try to play with them if they want. Additionally, I'm always mindful of entering and leaving homes, in case a pet makes an escape attempt through my open door. I'm very detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and take great notes. So I make sure I know exactly the type of care you want for your pet!

About: Plenty of grassy areas for bathroom walks, small fenced in yard on bottom floor condo in a gated community. Hosting only one pet at a time so they’ll get premium care and undivided attention. Host works from home on weekdays and is available for 10-30mins walks 3 times a day in times of a busy schedule, more time is free on lighter days. Fenced in yard within a gated community. Pets are permitted. All areas inside and outside are open to the pet with the exception of one sealed room. Please provide your own food and supplies that the pet requires while hosting is needed.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, and my parents bred and showed Dobermans, so I was surrounded from an early age by thoughtful, consistent dog care and training. With only a few gaps during college and early adulthood, I've had a dog by my side throughout my entire life. I'm currently a dog owner myself, and my dog is very much part of my everyday life. That's also how I approach boarding. Rather than caring for a large group of dogs, I prefer to host one guest at a time so they can settle into our household and receive plenty of individual attention, companionship, walks, play, and affection. I'm home much of the day, so a visiting dog isn't routinely left alone for long stretches. I believe dogs respond best to patience, consistency, clear boundaries, positive interaction, and lots of affection. I also know every dog has its own personality, habits, and comfort level, so I want to learn what makes your dog feel safe and at home. My goal is simple: while you're away, your dog gets to live as a beloved member of the household rather than feeling like they're being sent away to boarding. I work primarily from home, and my own dog is already my near-constant companion, so caring for another dog fits very naturally into my daily life. When I board a dog, my intention is for them to join our household and our routine rather than spend long stretches of the day alone. That means plenty of companionship, regular walks and outdoor time, play, relaxation, and, when it's appropriate for the individual dog, coming along with us on dog-friendly outings. I take my own dog with me frequently and am happy to do the same with a guest who enjoys it. Most importantly, I adjust the routine to the dog. Some dogs love being out and about; others are happiest relaxing somewhere familiar and quiet. During their stay, I pay attention to what makes them comfortable and adapt accordingly. I want each dog in my care to feel safe, included, and genuinely at home while their family is away. Safety starts with making sure a dog is a good fit for our home. Before a first stay, I prefer to meet with you and your dog and introduce them to my dog so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. I strive to understand your dog's normal routine, personality, feeding and walking schedule, house rules, medications or special needs, and anything that makes them anxious, excited, or especially happy. I follow your instructions and try to keep familiar routines consistent while adapting to what I observe during the stay. I host only one guest dog at a time, which allows me to give them plenty of individual attention and closely monitor how they're settling in. I use leashes and secure handling outdoors, keep food and other potential sources of conflict managed carefully, and never assume that two dogs who get along well don't still need thoughtful supervision. Most importantly, I pay attention. Dogs communicate constantly through their behavior, and I want to notice when a guest is relaxed, uncomfortable, tired, excited, or needs something different. My goal is to provide a safe, calm home where your dog can become part of the family while they're in my care.

One of the reasons I’m majoring in Veterinary Assisting is because I’ve seen how cats are often overlooked, and I want to help give them the care they deserve. I do have a part-time job, but my shifts are usually only a few hours long and vary throughout the week. About: Hi! My name is Jenniffer, I’m a responsible, patient and caring dog person. I have been taking care of my dog Canelo, a Pit Bull mix, for almost four years. Raising him since he was a puppy has teach me a lot , because of him I started to know more about dogs. I understand that they need a lot of care, attention and love. Even though I’m new to taking care of pets from other people I’m not new on knowing what are their needs and how to take care of them. I understand the importance of exercising, health, safety , and environment for our dogs. I would love to provide the same care and love I give to my own dog because I understand our doggies are part of our own family. I’m currently not working and I’m open to any schedules depending on what my clients need. I prefer morning and afternoons for walks. My schedule is very flexible and I’m happy to take care of them and be able to provide great service and accommodate to the doggies routines as well . My home offers a safe, fenced backyard with enough space, and I have my dog thats really friendly and loves new company. At the moment I’m not providing this type of service, I’m focusing on getting it to know pets .

About: Hi! My name is Adrienne and my husband's name is Edgar & we are both at home full-time. We both have a very active lifestyle. Since adopting our pup Nigel back in 2017 we became the go to pet-caretaker for our friends and family. We both have experience pet/house sitting and dog walking all ages and sizes. Our single family home has a large grassy front yard and a fenced backyard. We have hosted up to 3 dogs in our home at once in addition to our 2 old pups (now 1 since the other has crossed the rainbow bridge). Our home is extremely dog friendly, where they are welcomed on all beds and couches. We have dogs beds in every room, a large fabric dog crate and a small guest bathroom that we can put puppy pads in if your pup requires it. We live in a quiet neighborhood and are a quick drive away from two parks, one with a newly renovated dog park. We love having the opportunity to interact with all pets through Rover. We mostly do this for fun and supplemental income on our free time, so we are flexible on cost and cancellation. For house sitting, I (Adrienne) will be the main one to do the stay, if you prefer Edgar please let us know. We understand how hard it is to leave your fur babies at home alone, and the look on their face when you leave is absolutely heart breaking. We'd love to keep them company while you're away! Your pets' safety and happiness is important, our goal is to create a stress free environment for everyone.

About: Hi! I'm Harper and I've always been in love with animals, especially dogs, since I was young. I enjoy making connections and friendships with them, and they make me so happy. I am a dog mommy of a sweet Shiba Inu, and he is my cute BFF. When your furry baby is with me, I will treat him or her like my own, making sure that he or she is feeling as happy and comfortable as possible. I am pretty good at adapting to all of the unique dog personalities, and I'm very patient and gentle towards them. I will play games, take him/her on nature walks, and snuggle him/her. We have a huge dog park within 5 minutes of walking distance so they will sure to have a lot of play-dates! :) Your dog's well-being and safety are my priority. I ask that you bring any toys, water & food bowl, leash and/or harness, and food and treats (if you wish). I currently live in a house with backyard in Hayward.
