“Excellent, highly recommended. We have just returned home and found our cats to be well taken care of by Myat. She was very detailed, thorough in her communication and followed all the instructions during her drop in visits. We have 3 cats and one of them has anxiety issues and leading to accidents. No issues indicating they bonded well with Myat. Definitely asking for her services next time.”

About: I've been a devoted pet caregiver for 9 years, caring for cats, rabbits, and hamsters with love and patience. Over the past year, I've also gained hands-on experience raising my own energetic Border Collie, who is now 10 months old and about 44 lbs. Through daily training, walks, playtime, and caring for a high-energy puppy, I've developed a deeper understanding of dogs' physical and emotional needs. I know that every pet has a unique personality. Whether your pet is playful, energetic, shy, or senior, I always provide patient, attentive, and personalized care to help them feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I also enjoy sending detailed daily updates and plenty of photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I'm currently an MBA student and have just completed my first year. During summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to your pets. During the school year, my classes are primarily in the evenings, allowing me to continue providing reliable daytime care with minimal scheduling conflicts. Because I currently rent my home, I'm unable to offer boarding services. However, I'd be happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home through drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting. My goal is always to treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. Since my MBA program starts in mid-August and all my classes are in the evenings, I currently have a flexible schedule during the day. This allows me to dedicate ample time to new opportunities, projects, or commitments without scheduling conflicts. I’m available throughout the daytime and can easily adapt to different time zones or urgent tasks while attending evening classes. I currently rent my home and am unable to offer boarding services at my place. However, I am happy to provide loving and attentive pet care by visiting your home for drop-in visits, dog walking, or house sitting. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, and I’m dedicated to making sure they receive the care and attention they deserve while you’re away.
“Siqin was fantastic my dog had lots of complicated instructions and medical needs that she dealt with well! When there were issues she was great at improvising and stayed calm and looked to make the best time for goober.”

“Veronica is the best cat sitter I have ever hired! Her attention to details and her clear communication while we were away gave me great confidence that my cat is being taken care of. Will certainly hire her again if we go away next time!”

“We hired Susie to visit twice a day for a week to give Cooper his insulin injections while my husband was away, and she exceeded every expectation. Cooper is diabetic, and Susie is the very first person outside of my husband and me to successfully give him his insulin shots. Before finding Susie, we even had a trial with a vet tech, and it was a complete disaster. After three unsuccessful attempts, I ended up giving the injection myself. With Susie, everything went smoothly from the very first visit. What amazed me most was how quickly Cooper warmed up to her. He usually doesn’t trust new people, but he loved Susie right away and actually looked forward to her twice-daily visits. Seeing how excited he was to see her gave me complete peace of mind. Cooper doesn’t do well with boarding because he truly thinks he’s a person and is happiest at home. Susie made him feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and she cared for him as if he were her own. We’re already looking forward to having Susie dog sit Cooper for a longer stay on our next trip. She’ll definitely be our go-to sitter from now on. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, reliable, and who truly treats your pet like family. The fact that she’s also so confident and capable with insulin injections is an incredible bonus. Thank you, Susie, for taking such wonderful care of our sweet boy! ❤️🐾”

“I love working with Charlene, because she is professional, responsible and provides high quality service every time! Whether it’s one cat or seven, friendly or shy, low maintenance or requiring tricky daily medication - I can relax knowing that my furry companions will be well taken care of while I’m away. Thank you, Charlene!”

About: Dogs make my heart happy, and so do cats! :) I loved the times that I got to spend and care for my beloved Moki who went to heaven in Dec. 2023. I miss her every single day. I work as a substitute teacher and painting instructor, which provides me with a flexible schedule to pursue my hobbies and interests. One of my passions in life is dogs. I volunteer with Pets in Need by participating in their Doggy Day Out program. Back in high school, I was voted Most Dependable, and I believe I still hold that title dear to heart whether it's with family, work, friends, and clients. I would do my best to make sure your furry best friend gets lots of pets, play, and potty breaks. :) My schedule is pretty flexible since I work as a substitute teacher and painting instructor. I can easily block off dates so that I can be available. In the summer time, I also work as a summer camp art counselor. I have updated my schedule with the dates that I’m available. :) I know what it's like to have someone reliable and trustworthy to care for your furry best friend. I know that you can depend on me because I will love and care for your pet as if she/he's my own.
“Ashley is our go-to cat sitter! We always come home to a clean house and a healthy, happy cat! Ashley is patient and professional with our senior cat. Her communication is excellent and she takes great photos. 10/10, highly recommended!”

“Hong is delightful. She arrived on time and gained the confidence of my cats right away. She is gentle and patient and was very interested in the cats' routines and habits so that she could build a strong rapport with them as she cares for them in other visits. Excellent!”
“What a blessing to have Emily available take care of my group of kitties over the past two weeks. This is the third time we have booked her and always feel confident and comfortable with her providing for their care in our home . She is very reliable, knowledgeable, and caring. I got daily updates. The cats and house look great! She communicated any questions she had in a timely manner. I was able to enjoy my vacation with worrying about them!”

About: We have a maltipoo, Summer, and she is our baby! We love to have friends over for her to have fun with. We’ve grown up with pets and have always loved being around them. It’s been wonderful having fur babies over for the last couple years, puppies to seniors, we love taking care of them! We’ve had great joy with them and each one of them have a special space in our home and heart! We work from home so we’re always there to tend to our fur babies. We walk them around our neighborhood and play with them. We feed them according to their schedule & make sure they eat their own food. We live in a gated community and have a secure backyard where our fur babies can play. If you think your fur baby does better in a crate then you’re more than welcome to bring one so they can be comfortable in it as we do not have any crates. Our baby sleeps in our room and so will yours. Rest assured they’ll be in a very comfortable, happy and we have a pet friendly environment. And they’ll for sure get plenty of cuddles and massages…

Susie was amazing with my dog Spirit! She was so kind, attentive, and clearly took great care of him while I was away. She followed all of my instructions, kept me updated with photos and messages, and gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. I’ve always been wary of letting someone in my home when I’m away but Susie was incredibly respectful and left everything exactly as it was. I really appreciated how reliable and thoughtful she was, and I would absolutely trust her with Spirit again. Highly recommend!

Justin was an excellent pet sitter. He cared for my two cats with daily drop-in visits for an entire month, and I couldn't have been happier with the care they received. His regular updates and photos gave me peace of mind while I was away and reassured me that my cats were happy and well cared for. He also gave plenty of attention and affection to my cat who loves people, which I really appreciated. I felt completely comfortable trusting him with both my pets and my home. I would gladly hire Justin again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter.

Hong is delightful. She arrived on time and gained the confidence of my cats right away. She is gentle and patient and was very interested in the cats' routines and habits so that she could build a strong rapport with them as she cares for them in other visits. Excellent!
Great experience! Yi-ting was super reliable, on time for all three visits, and took excellent care of my cat. She even cleaned cat bowls and watered my plants, which I really appreciated. My cat really loved her, and I had total peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend!

Annabelle was my cat sitter while I took a trip with my husband to see my family on the East Coast. We are always worried that our pet will feel stressed and alone. Annabelle was so kind and affectionate to our cat, Olive Oil. She loved him immediately and took good care of him making him feel safe and developing trust immediately. Annabelle was on time everyday, consistently cleaning the litter box, providing food and water, and making sure everything we requested got done. She is very sweet, easy to work with, accommodates the client's needs, and has a lot of knowledge about the care of pets. We highly recommend Annabelle.

Diana was AMAZING. She saw our sick cat on very last minute notice, worked so hard to get her meds in (even though my cat can be resistant), made sure my kitty was super comfortable, sent us ABUNDANT photos, put out a whole array of different foods from different places in our apartment as we were trying to get her to eat, etc. the list goes on. We were so incredibly worried about our kitty and Diana put us at ease with her care. We would hire her again in a heartbeat. She was also just so kind, patient, generous, and communicative the whole way!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! 😊 Sijia was incredibly kind, flexible, reliable, and took such wonderful care of our cat while we were away. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable trusting her with both our cat and our home. What meant the most to us was how quickly the two of them connected — our cat loved her right away, and it was obvious that she truly cares about animals and pays attention to every little detail. She kept us updated regularly, which gave us so much peace of mind during our trip, and we could really relax knowing he was in such good hands. We’re so grateful for all the care and love she gave him. We will absolutely book her again for our next vacation and can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing pet sitter! ❤️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
