I’ve been a passionate dog and cat lover since childhood, dedicating my time to animal shelters and rescue organizations. Over the years, I’ve fostered all kinds of dogs—from pregnant mama dogs and bottle-fed puppies to adult dogs of all sizes, as well as kittens. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, assisting with vaccinations and animal care. I speak both English and Mandarin. 我会说英语和普通话 ⠀ With extensive experience handling pets of all personalities, I have a special talent for working with shy and nervous animals. Many timid cats and dogs warm up to me quicker than usual, thanks to my patient, trust-building approach. I let them set the pace, respect their boundaries, and create a stress-free experience that helps them feel secure. Whether your pet is outgoing or reserved, I ensure they receive the care, affection, and playtime they need while feeling safe and comfortable in my care. ⠀ I’m happy to accommodate special care requests, such as administering oral medications, applying eye drops, and giving injections. I can also help with light home tasks during visits, including taking care of plants, bringing in mail/packages, taking out or bringing in trash/recycling bins, and checking that doors/windows are secure. If you have any other specific requests, feel free to message me in advance and I’ll do my best to help. ⠀ Your furry friend will be in loving and experienced hands with me. I provide regular updates and plenty of TLC while you're away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they are well cared for. I look forward to meeting them! 🐾💕 ⠀ I also have two small "foster fail" dogs who became part of my family. One of them, Gem, arrived at my home very pregnant and gave birth to seven beautiful puppies under my care. Witnessing their arrival into the world was a magical experience, and it reinforced my patience, responsibility, and deep love for animals. Providing these rescued dogs and cats with a short-term safe haven before they find their forever homes is truly a blessing.

For drop-in visits, please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs or care instructions, and I will strictly follow your guidance to ensure they receive the love and attention they need while you’re away. ⠀ For dog walking, I take the time to understand each dog’s personality and habits—whether they are reactive to dogs, people, or squirrels, have a habit of eating things off the ground, or are enthusiastic sniffers. We had a great experience! She is wonderful with large dogs and clearly knows how to interact with them confidently and appropriately. She was very gentle, patient, and kind with Kobe, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. Kobe can get quite excited at times, but she knew exactly how to handle his energy calmly and confidently. I felt very comfortable trusting her with him. I would definitely recommend her, especially to anyone with a large or energetic dog. We would be happy to book with her again! 🐾❤️
Shirley is the best, my 63lb Greyhound loves her! She asks lots of questions the first day to ensure she knows my dogs habits and my preferences. She is 100% reliable and professional. Always responds to my texts. I am super pleased with the service I am getting from Shirley.

Shirley is a great dog handler! She was able to drop in to feed my dog Chip and give him his insulin medication. She was reliable, caring, and made us feel comfortable knowing Chip was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend her!
Shirley is the best!! We have two kitties, one of whom is very scared of (and scary to) strangers. I was very worried about leaving him for a week, but Shirley was so patient and gentle with him. She knows how to handle difficult pets and will accommodate their specific needs. She goes above and beyond to let you know what’s happening at home. Would absolutely book with Shirley again.

- For drop-in visits with dogs and cats, please share details about their personality, typical routine, preferences, and any special needs so I can provide the best care possible. ⠀ For dog walking, please let me know: ⠀- If your dog is reactive to other dogs, strangers, squirrels, or moving objects. ⠀- Whether your dog tends to pick up food or other items from the ground. ⠀- Your dog’s walking habits—do they prefer exploring on their own or walking beside you on a loose leash? ⠀- Their potty routine and any specific needs during the walk.
