About: I have been dog sitting since I was in high school for friends and families dogs. I have two dogs of my own - a pit bull and yellow lab. I have been working on TrustedHouse Sitters for a while now and decided to try Rover out! I am an active, social person that loves to take dogs on walks, play with animals, and give them all the cuddles they want. I am currently a Nuclear Medicine student that mostly spends afternoons and evenings at home studying, so having a companion would be amazing! I thrive off of helping people out and being around both animals and humans! I am at clinicals for 8 hours a day, so I like to look for places nearby Stanford hospital. I wake up at around 5-6am, get ready and take the dogs for a walk, feed them and give them attention before being at the hospital from 8am-4pm. After clinicals, I make sure to walk the dogs first thing when I get back, and play with them whether that be fetch, pets, cuddles, etc. I love my long walks so if you are looking for a dog walker, I'm there! I always to make sure when I get home from clinicals, to walk the dogs and give them all of the attention they need! I keep homes tidy and respect people's space. I understand what it could be like to let someone in your home, and I will do my best to make you feel comfortable with both your home and pets. I am gone during the day for clinicals and spend most nights inside with the animals.
About: We’re an engaged couple living in East Palo Alto and looking for more opportunities to spend quality time with animals! We’ve been trusted dog and cat sitters for friends and family for years, and recently decided to give Rover a try. I make sure to check for skin and other health issues while petting them and I will always communicate any concerns. I know how to administer medications including injections. As a general rule, I will not allow pets to interact with other animals while walking. I like to know every one will make it home safely. About: I have extensive experience taking care of reactive and high-maintenance dogs, including my own. I am comfortable dealing with aggressive dogs and will do everything in my power to make your dog feel safe and relaxed on walks or while I keep them company at home. I have spent years cultivating a trusting relationship with my own senior rescue dog who requires special bathing and walking care in his old age and who was extremely anxious and aggressive with other dogs in his younger years. About: I grew up around dogs and even fostered a few throughout my college years. I have the strength to walk any dog and am very active if they need lots of walking. I understand their personalities and always lead with love🐶 I’m currently working part time and am always open to working around your schedule. Weekends during the day are always busier for me but I’m flexible and will put your pet first. About: Besides working my morning job I love to take care pets. I used to pet care couple years and have helped my aunt with her 3 dogs that needed daily walks! I always took care of them as if they were my own! I also have experience with elderly dogs who needed more attention and needed to be given medication daily. Rachel is amazing! She is really clued in to our cat’s well being and quirky habits. Her daily reports (including things she notices that are non-pet related, like houseplant watering needs) and attention to detail make us feel completely at ease while we are gone. She’s the absolute best!!!
I can't say enough good things about Anna! She arrived on time and jumped right in to playing with Louie. She took him for a walk, played with him in the yard, and gave him a much-needed rest time. I know these things because she sent me pictures when I was away. The house was clean when I got home, and my puppy was relaxed and happy! I would have Anna back in a heartbeat!
Kenzi was amazing with our cat! She was very communicative and detailed in every Rover report card, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our cat can be very aggressive with strangers and has even attacked previous nannies, but Kenzi was incredibly patient with her and also creative in distracting her while she cleaned the litter and took care of everything. By the end, our cat was trusting her enough to let her pet her sometimes, which is a HUGE deal! Kenzi was also punctual, respectful, and followed all our instructions perfectly. We will definitely book her again for future trips!
