About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I am well-versed in walking large and stubborn dogs such as Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees. I have been a parent to Wells, a very high-energy Vizsla, for 5 years now. We did all our training ourselves and successfully trained a great loose-leash walker. I am eager to help other dogs learn this skill as well! I am working locums, so I am gone for 4 days twice a month and otherwise home and available the rest of the month. About: I will walk to crap out of your dog. Take that figuratively or literally as you please. Regardless, after our walks they'll come home totally tuckered out. I love dogs and have years of experience caring for dogs and house sitting. I grew up with large Chesapeake bay retrievers and am comfortable walking large dogs. I have a 1.5 year old basset hound. Aesthetically speaking, I am a sucker for a long, low canine. But I love all breeds and can't wait to meet your dog for a walk or a run outside! Can provide references. I'm currently looking for work, so have wide availability to care for your dog/cat. I am used to walking my own dog 2-3 times per day, plus training sessions and K9 nose work practice. If you are working on obedience with your dog, I'm happy to continue to provide training sessions as well while sitting them. At my home, I have a fenced yard with a 1.5 year old basset hound to keep your pups company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and much prefer to arrange a meet and greet before sitting whenever possible to make sure your pup feels safe and confident in my care.

About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember, starting with Ginger, my family's German shepherd and husky mix, four cats, fish, and pet rodents growing up. I later spent about two years volunteering at my local SPCA, working hands-on with dogs of every size and temperament, from bouncy puppies to nervous rescues. I've also had cats of my own as an adult, including two rescues, and fostered kittens before I started traveling. Since then I've cared for pets through farm stays and housesits across Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, and Canada — dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, a donkey, as well as an adult pet rabbit. 😊 I'm comfortable administering medication, working with anxious or senior animals, and managing multi-pet households. I'm calm, attentive, and treat every home and animal I look after like my own. I'm currently transitioning to the San Mateo County area temporarily starting early November and building my schedule around pet care full-time, so I have plenty of flexibility for house sits, and daily visits, including extended or last-minute stays. I don't currently have a conflicting 9-to-5, which means I can commit fully to a pet's normal routine for the length of a booking rather than fitting care in around other work. Since I focus on house sitting, I stay at your home rather than asking your pet to adjust to a new environment. I follow feeding, medication, and walking routines exactly as instructed, keep the house clean and secure, and send regular photo updates so you can relax while you're away. I don't bring other pets into the home, so your animal gets my full attention for the whole stay.

I volunteer at two pet rescues and a pet therapy organization.I also have experience in giving medication to my dogs, like pills and eye drops.
