About: I will walk to crap out of your dog. Take that figuratively or literally as you please. Regardless, after our walks they'll come home totally tuckered out. I love dogs and have years of experience caring for dogs and house sitting. I grew up with large Chesapeake bay retrievers and am comfortable walking large dogs. I have a 1.5 year old basset hound. Aesthetically speaking, I am a sucker for a long, low canine. But I love all breeds and can't wait to meet your dog for a walk or a run outside! Can provide references. I'm currently looking for work, so have wide availability to care for your dog/cat. I am used to walking my own dog 2-3 times per day, plus training sessions and K9 nose work practice. If you are working on obedience with your dog, I'm happy to continue to provide training sessions as well while sitting them. At my home, I have a fenced yard with a 1.5 year old basset hound to keep your pups company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and much prefer to arrange a meet and greet before sitting whenever possible to make sure your pup feels safe and confident in my care.

I have three dogs of my own and fostered 36 dogs throughout my childhood, giving me familiarity with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I maintain a clean, pet-proofed apartment where your furry friend can relax without any worries. For bedtime, I have a dedicated crate in the study where my dog sleeps, and I have an extra crate available if your pup is crate-trained - though they're also welcome to find their comfy spot anywhere in the apartment! Safety is my top priority, so I take extra precautions like always keeping doors securely locked and making sure the apartment is tidy and free of anything that could be harmful. When we head out for walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood, your pup will always be properly leashed, and I even use special light-up collars for our evening strolls. You can rest easy knowing your dog is in a secure, peaceful environment with someone who takes their safety seriously

About: My family has had dogs for most of my life. I have experience from large breeds to small breeds. I currently have two rescues myself (One Pitbull mix and one Chihuahua mix). I am an avid dog walker and always try to pay attention to the pup while walking to ascertain how it does around other people and dogs to try and avoid any potential situations that may occur. It's my own policy with dogs to not leave them unattended for more than a few hours at a time, for example, whenever I was working part time jobs I would always make sure to come home for lunch so I could relieve my dogs and ensure they're given all the proper attention that they deserve. I'm also proficient in reading when dogs are in need of medical attention as my pit mix is quite a special case genetically and requires that kind of hands on care, especially as he gets older in age. My bottom line is that my dogs are family to me and I understand that I am not alone in that thought, so to trust an individual with your family members care is a hard thing to do and I will make sure to attend to your pets needs as if they were my own because thats what I have come to expect from dog sitters myself. Pet care is nonstop. To me, my pets are family and are just as deserving of attention and having their needs met as I am. My pit mix is an incredibly anxious dog and requires a lot of attention when it comes to being taken outside to go to the bathroom, being calmed down when loud noises occur or new people enter my house, and he can have some digestion issues requiring constant attention to his stool and changes to his diet. This can feel like a lot but he's family so I've found ways to incorporate these needs into my daily life with work and other things that happen throughout the day. As I've said in my profile, I try to not be gone for more than a few hours at a time as long periods of absence can be stressful for dogs that depend on our care and attention. I make sure to ensure they always have water in their bowls, I try to take them to the bathroom as much as possible, and I go on one or two walks a day as my schedule allows to ensure they get proper exercise and socialization. My main goal is to ensure the safety of the pet. This means keeping food not appropriate for pets tucked away or pushed back on counters and out of their reach. It means always having an eye on my/your pet whether thats at home or out and about. I also try to maintain a clean space as things on the floor depending on the object can be eaten and thats any pet owners nightmare. It's also important to me that the client feels respected and safe to leave not only their pet but their home in my hands if I'm staying for a majority of the day or even nights. This means I leave no trace of myself and always double check to make sure the home is cleaner than I found it. I also have no issues cleaning up poop from backyards or piddle pads from balconies. I also understand that people think differently on where dogs are supposed to sleep, I personally let my dog sleep with me in the bed so if thats what your dog is looking for I can absolutely comply but if thats not what you prefer I am also able to make sure they stay where they're supposed to be. Lastly, as I've mentioned, hiring a pet sitter can be stressful as you don't know me nor I you so its incredibly important to me that I listen to what you're saying and asking of me in regards to the treatment of your home and your pet so that I can do the best job possible and have you come home to a happy pet and a happier home.

About: I have been around and cared for animals for as long as I can remember! In the past I have worked at a pet care and boarding facility for over four years and I have four pets of my own. Constantly being around animals has taught me a lot and I am committed to continue learning . I am comfortable handling any breed of dog, energy levels , and size. Older dogs that might need medication are also no problem. I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animals. My biggest goal is building trust with and your fur baby and providing the best care possible. I currently work fully remote so my schedule is very flexible and I am available when needed! I can also be very flexible on the weekends and can accept last minute bookings. When taking care of your baby my biggest goal is to gain their trust and do all the fun things you would normally do. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I am well-versed in walking large and stubborn dogs such as Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees. I have been a parent to Wells, a very high-energy Vizsla, for 5 years now. We did all our training ourselves and successfully trained a great loose-leash walker. I am eager to help other dogs learn this skill as well! I am working locums, so I am gone for 4 days twice a month and otherwise home and available the rest of the month. Open for walks and visits all day! If your dog is open to a play date, I have a very friendly, high-energy dog that would love to get his zoomies out with your pup.
