About: Growing up, I have owned my own dogs and taken care of family and friend’s dogs pretty frequently! I have experience with dogs of various personality types and truly love being around all kinds of animals. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters and have frequently taken dogs out on day trips to expose them to more of the outside world. When we head out for walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood, your pup will always be properly leashed, and I even use special light-up collars for our evening strolls. About: I'm an experienced dog owner with over 15 years of dog care experience. I have three dogs of my own and fostered 36 dogs throughout my childhood, giving me familiarity with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. While I've been away at college, I've really missed spending time with my dogs and would love the opportunity to walk and care for yours! I am very available this summer for either regularly scheduled or one-off visits. I will be in the area and able to take care of your pets until late September. I am very attentive to detail and will be sure to follow all instructions. I can be easily reached by phone and will stay in regular contact as needed. Marilyn is the absolute best! We have a senior kitty named Zelda who is on a daily medication. Right before we left for an international trip we needed to find someone quickly who felt comfortable giving a senior kitty medication, but would also help give her the love and attention she needed while we were gone for an extra long trip. Marilyn had no fear and quickly picked up the task! Marilyn was very knowledgeable on the medication and found ways to help give Zelda the medication comfortably. She also sent us so many amazing photos and daily reports so I knew exactly how Zelda was doing. Genesis was great from the start kind, reliable, and easy to communicate with. My cat is usually very shy and keeps to himself with new people, so I was honestly surprised (in the best way) when he came out and greeted her right away and seemed completely comfortable. That really stood out to me. She was responsible, dependable, and communicative throughout, and everything went smoothly. They were super patient and gentle with Coco and even got him to eat his kibble which sometimes can be tricky! Even if he made a mess, they made sure to keep his area clean.
