About: Hi! I work from home and have flexibility to watch another dog from time to time. My pup is a golden retriever adopted last year, she is very friendly and knows how to give older dogs their space and has been exposed to younger puppies which she also does well with. I have a perfect backyard for fetching, sniffing and sunny 😎 naps. I have flexibility to watch your pup during weekdays and weekends. I have our dog to care for so it's easy to add another 1-3 to the mix :) I have a large fenced in yard, also live within walking distance to nearby off leash dog friendly parks and natural areas. I have many pet beds and can also provide a crate if needed.
“Lucky had a wonderful time staying at Sein’s home! She took great care of her and kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos of Lucky’s daily life, along with detailed summaries of her routine—meals, playtime, and potty breaks. This really put our minds at ease while we were away. Sein was also very responsive and always quick to answer any questions or concerns. Lucky clearly enjoyed her stay, especially spending time with the other dogs and cats. We truly appreciate her care and will definitely bring Lucky back again in the future!”

“Leo and Nina were wonderful, honest and kind! From our first meet and greet to final pickup everything was professional and went smoothly. Our two shy dogs were well cared for, and we appreciated the daily updates and communication. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our dogs were in good hands and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again!”

“Great couple! Very responsive. They really took care of my dog and I can tell that my dog had a great time at their home. I received the photos of my dog every day and knew that my dog was treated very well. Highly recommend!”

“This was my dog’s first time being away from home, so I was initially apprehensive about how he would do. Karla took fantastic care of Snow and sent me pictures to reassure me he was doing fine. She even sent him home with extra treats and was very flexible with drop off and pickup times. Thanks Karla, we’ll be returning!”

“Siobhan and Guillermo were easygoing and responsive and took great care of our dog, Oliver, while we were out of town. We hope to use their help again in the future!”

“Alexa is amazing and took amazing care of Meru!!!! I would highly recommend! She is an amazing dog sitter and has a space that is totally dialed for your furry friend!”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Chiara took such good care of my senior dog, Mighty Mouse and I'm so glad she was available. Not only was she so kind during our meet and greet, she was so prepared to accommodate all his gear and special requests to stick to his routine once it was time for his stay. Chiara also took really cute photos of him to send to me. We'd gladly rebook with Chiara.”

“A was so kind to our pup, Napa. We appreciate her flexibility, knowledge, and fun personality. Napa looked forward to seeing her. She's conveniently located near Stanford, so she's a great fit for anyone visiting the hospital. I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“India had a wonderful visit with Olga and her family. She was loved, walked and cuddled. I received lots of photos and videos and felt completely assured India was in good hands. I loved that India had access to her yard, dog park and lots of walks. I am absolutely going to rebook Olga for India. I feel completely lucky to find Olga, she is a gem, thoughtful, responsible and naturally an animal person.”

About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail. I work part-time from home so I am able to spend lots of time with the fur babies in my care. I love to take them out for fresh air and exercise, and give them lots of love, pets, and attention. I have a fenced, grassy backyard and a friendly labrador retriever named Sadie who is very sweet and playful and loves having other dogs to play with. We have a doggie door so the pups have day and night access to the backyard to run around and do their business. I can easily crate your dog if that is something you prefer.
About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to spend a good amount of time at home. On days I go into the office, it’s often only for part of the day, so I’m able to be home for the rest of it. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
“Alissa took good care of Kody and sent us photos daily during his 5-day stay. We could see that he was being well cared for, taken on daily walks, and happy and that gave us lots of peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Alissa.”

“This was our 2nd time using Aoran and he was once again, great at caring for our fur baby. Our miss Kimchi tends to get quite nervous but seemed to remember Aoran from last time. We were happy to see her getting along very well with three other dogs and had other company. Videos and photos were always sent to us which eases us while we were miles away. Thank you Aoran for being able to accommodate her on such short notice and for caring for her like she is your own. We trust his skills and highly recommend Aoran.”

“Kora had a great stay! Photos and updates were provided daily. Kora, bring an older dog, needs medications daily and help with stairs. She came home a happy dog! Would highly recommend Matthew and Kate!”

“I recently had the pleasure of having Ruo host my dog for five days, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Throughout the stay, Ruo kept me updated with regular messages, photos, and videos, which made me feel at ease while I was away. It was clear that Ruo genuinely connected with my dog—so much so that when I went to pick her up, she didn't even want to come home! My dog's comfort and happiness were Ruo's top priorities, and it truly showed. I highly recommend Ruo to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter, and I will definitely be working with her again in the future.”

Woodside dog parents share their Rover experiences
Margareth is an absolutely wonderful host! She took such loving care of our Dudu during her stay. Since we don’t have a US driver’s license, she and her mom kindly went out of their way to pick Dudu up and drop her back home. She kept us updated regularly with sweet messages and videos, so we always knew Dudu was happy and safe. We truly appreciate everything she did for our pup. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, caring pet host, you can’t go wrong with Margareth — your furry friend will be in the very best hands.
Thank you Nina & Leo! We had such a wonderful experience and are so grateful for the care given to Mocha and Neo. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such attentive and loving hands. We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos, it meant so much to see them happy, relaxed, and well cared for while we were away. It truly felt like they were being treated like family. Thank you again for your kindness, reliability, and thoughtful care. We would absolutely trust you again and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.

Kylie is a fantastic dog sitter. She took care of our two dogs over the holidays while we were out of town, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. She has a stunning home in a lovely neighborhood with a spacious backyard where the dogs could play and relax. She regularly sent us updates with goofy photos of our pups playing with her dog, as well as sweet pictures of them cuddling with the family in bed. She was attentive to their health and well-being, even going the extra mile when one of our dogs wasn’t eating and giving him extra care and comfort. We would absolutely book with her again.
