“The sweetest dog deserves the sweetest sitter! Anam kindly did a meet and greet with us before a multi-night stay. Our dog quickly warmed up to all the love and attention. Anam provided just the right amount of photos and updates. Piper enjoyed her stay!! Thank you so much!!”

“Bilbo came back again for boarding this time and had a wonderful time with Jesse and Kimmy! They provided frequent updates throughout the weekend with lots of photos and videos, so we could tell Bilbo was happy and receiving excellent care. Bilbo had fun playing with the other dogs and he got lots of love and cuddles from Jesse and Kimmy. We will definitely use their boarding again. Highly recommend Jesse and Kimmy!”

Currently working from home with flexible time which allows me to integrate training, walks, play time, and medical monitoring throughout the day, while weekends are dedicated to long runs/walks and trail hikes. “Yun and Lina were amazing! They communicated quickly and were very responsive. They sent pictures every day and ensured that our pup was well taken care of. Would highly recommend!!”

“My pup stayed with Manli for a week when I had to go out of town. Communication was very easy, she is very responsive. We received great photo updates every night. When I came to pick my pup up at the end of his stay, he appears to have made a couple of new friends! He didn’t notice me at first because he was having such a great time. I would definitely use her again for dog-sitting!”

“Nina and Leo took very good care of my dog over a weekend, they were very kind during a misunderstanding we had and worked with me to make sure my dog was very safe and happy in their care. I’m torn between recommending them and wanting to keep them to myself since they were so good.”

“Peanut had his trial day with Shannon today and everything went great. She took wonderful care of him, kept us updated with lots of photos, and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. We could see that he was happy and well cared for. We will definitely book with her again in the future”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life (at one point we had 5 at time!) love taking them for long walks, teaching them new tricks like weave (and handstand!), and engaging their minds with agility. My senior dog recently passed and while I am not ready to get a new dog just yet, I miss having a dog so want to occasionally dog sit to help others out with their dogs before getting another dog of my own. I work full time but occasionally work from home. For this reason, Thursday to Sunday or Monday is best for me. I am active and love going on walks, hikes, and runs in and around the beautiful Portola Valley neighborhood. I love to hang on the couch and snuggle in the evenings! Dogs (non shedding) allowed on the bed :) My large backyard is fenced. My husband Dave and I often are asked by friends to help train their dogs because we love to help and are good at it! :)
“Margaret exceeded all expectations! So happy and thankful to have found her. Our girl Juniper is sensitive and can be nervous around new people but she really bonded with Margaret. It was a great experience for her!”

“Matthew and Katelyn were wonderful with Sadie and sent me a daily update with photos! I could see she was loved and cared for! thank you so much for taking care of my wonderful girl in such a kind and loving way!”

“Svetlana was great! Our dog was loved and cared for, and I would not hesitate to leave her again in such good hands. I appreciated the daily updates and pictures of walks, play, and lounging at home. Svetlana was super responsive to all of my questions and was such a nice person to interact with. The overall experience was fantastic.”

“Katherine was incredibly attentive to our senior dog and made him feel at home! We are grateful for her many updates and great communication, and we know our dog would love to stay with her again!”

“Jessica has done an excellent job taking care of Sunny. She sent us pictures often and even took Sunny for a bath! Sunny has had a great time with Jessica!”

“Mora was amazing! She handled my overly-energetic, bitey puppy with such care and professionalism. I can't thank her enough for her grace under fire, she went above and beyond the call of duty. Mora gave the puppy plenty of walks and play time, and was wonderfully communicative with us! I loved getting pictures and videos every day. She is fantastic!!”

“Sarah was wonderful with my dog, super attentive and clearly cared a lot. She took him out on hikes and kept me updated with plenty of photos, which I really appreciated. He came back happy and relaxed. Would happily book with her again.”

“Meerim was an incredible dog sitter. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care. She sent updates and pictures throughout the stay, and communicated how things were going so I didn't worry at all. So grateful that we found her! Will 100% book again xx”

Cooper had a great time with Justin - came back happy and healthy! Justin genuinely loves dogs and is experienced with dog caring. He went the extra mile to hand feed Cooper when noticing he was not eating well from the bowl. Also highly responsive and accommodating with our schedule changes. Recommend!

I cannot recommend Tillana enough! She recently took care of our dogs, and the level of service was absolutely outstanding. One of our dogs needed regular medication, and she handled it flawlessly, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. We loved receiving her regular updates and photos—it really showed how much she genuinely cares about the animals in her custody. To top it all off, she even reached out a day after the dogs came home just to check in and see how they were settling back in. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Tillana, for treating our pups like family!

Manli is incredibly responsive and always great to communicate with. We can go on vacation completely worry-free knowing that Baloo is in such good hands. We also love getting the adorable photo updates, Baloo is always smiling, and it's clear he's having a great time.

Wonderful host and incredible attention to detail with routines, feeding, and instructions. Ying kept us updated every day, her dog Charlie was wonderful with our puppy. The house and yard were clean, safe, and exactly what you want for your dog. Can’t recommend her enough!!
Margarita took very good care of Buddy and kept us updated with photos and videos throughout his stay, which we really appreciated! It was nice to see how he was doing and know he was being well cared for. We would gladly trust her with Buddy again in the future.

Mel and his family took excellent care of our pup. From daily walks and lots of time playing outside to introducing him to other kids, it was clear he was getting plenty of attention and socialization. Mel was also incredibly communicative, sending prompt updates along with great pictures and videos throughout the stay. It made us feel completely at ease knowing our pup was in such good hands. We’d absolutely recommend Mel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.

Kelly was amazing! She was incredibly friendly and took the time to meet with us since it was our first time using Rover. She was very responsive, communicated clearly, and made the entire process easy and reassuring. We felt completely comfortable leaving our Golden Retriever in her care. We highly recommend Kelly and will definitely use her again in the future!

My dog Moxie loved her one night of boarding with Jesse and Kimmy. She absolutely loved playing with their dog and the two other dogs that were also staying over. I really missed Moxie, so I was really grateful that Jesse and Kimmy sent me lots of pictures and videos to update me on how she was doing. When I came to pick her up, they even gave me a little baggie with some dog treats and a little Polaroid picture of her! 10/10 would drop Moxie off for a slumber party again.

My baby girl had a great time at Anam’s place. My baby girl is turning 12 this year and is a cancer survivor. She can not climb stairs and needs medical attention. Anam did a great job making sure she is taken great care of. Anam’s dog is such a sweetheart and they got along really really well.

This was our first time leaving our 13 month old dog with a sitter and it went great! Charlotte was very kind and assured me right away that she was well equipped to handle Theo. She sent lots of pictures and videos each day that we were away, followed our feeding and care instructions, and gave him a ton of exercise. He seemed very happy and we were so glad he was in such good hands while we were away!

Ahmyah took care of my 8- year Golden Retriever (Basin) while I was attending meetings at Stanford for a few days. Its clear she really loves dogs. She sent me cute videos of Basin on campus having a great time! I would love for Basin to stay with Ahmyah again when we are back at Stanford.

I boarded my fur baby, Bruce, with Fang for several days. She is caring, reliable, and trustworthy. She was sending updates regularly and I felt reassured that he was safe and happy under her care. I highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again!
