About: I’m a student looking to help out with some local pet care and housesitting while i’m home for the summer. I’m vegan, I live alone, and I genuinely love animals and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule so I'm more than happy to keep your pets company, stick to their regular routines, daily walks, and make sure everything is taken care of. I'll always send plenty of photo updates too so you know they're doing great. I've taken care of dogs and cats for neighboring families and friends for many years, so I'm super comfortable handling pets with various different personalities and needs. I’m home for the summer and my schedule is incredibly open and flexible right now. Since I don't work a job, I have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to hang out with your pets, stick to their routines, and make sure they're taken care of as if they are my own. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I am well-versed in walking large and stubborn dogs such as Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees. I have been a parent to Wells, a very high-energy Vizsla, for 5 years now. We did all our training ourselves and successfully trained a great loose-leash walker. About: Our dogs are an extension of our hearts. Every time I leave the house, I always think about the moment I get to go back home and Parker is so excited to see me, and I him. His breed (Jindo) is genetically inclined to be skittish, fearful, aloof, but extremely loyal. I definitely have experience with dogs who need a slow introduction to new or scary situations, and I believe in positive reinforcement as well as counter-conditioning. I work a full time, night shift job, but am saving up to purchase a home. About: Hi! My name is Daniel and I am currently a senior and pursuing a masters at Stanford University. I am majoring in Biology with marine emphasis degree for my undergraduate and Earth Systems for my graduate! I’m an avid backpacker, diver, and surfer. The past four years I have worked as a kayak guide and squid research assistant. I have a very flexible schedule and can typically take work on very short notice. My own household has three dogs and one 17 year old fat cat. Last summer I took care of those pets and 20 fish by myself without any problems. I love all animals and I think you will notice that animals tend to instantly love me. John picked up the training methods quickly and had both of our guys exhibiting their best behavior. John is a natural, and our dogs adore him. Yu Chen is such a great friend for our pet Shadow. We are so lucky that we found Yu Chen. While we were away, she took shadow out for a long walk everyday for more than we agreed. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
