My name is Rachel and I'm a UC Berkeley grad and licensed veterinary technician who works in emergency and critical care. I've worked and cared for dogs and cats (and certain exotics/pocket pets) almost my entire life! Compassion, reading your pet's body language, and respecting your care instructions are of the upmost importance to me! For walks, big and small dogs are welcome! I am experienced with reactive pups and am comfortable doing structured walks as well to help reinforce any training you and your dog have been working on. I am very vigilant on walks and will ensure your pup's safety and comfort. You will always receive a very detailed report card from me and cute pictures! For drop-in visits, respect for your home and your pet and are top priority! I follow instructions very closely and welcome any information you have about your fur baby that can make their time with me the most fun and comfortable. Rachel is amazing! She is really clued in to our cat’s well being and quirky habits. Her daily reports (including things she notices that are non-pet related, like houseplant watering needs) and attention to detail make us feel completely at ease while we are gone. She’s the absolute best!!!
Rachel was awesome. She took care of our cay for 4 days and while kitty was upset with us for leaving, she had been pampered. She got some great photos.?fm The house was kept secure and kitty happy. On top of that she checked the mail and garbage. We would call on her again. Thank you Rachel
Rachel is wonderful! She was so kind and understanding of my cat's anxious tendencies. She is also incredibly detail oriented and thorough and I felt so glad my cat was in her care when I traveled :) highly recommend!!
Rachel is absolutely phenomenal, I can’t say enough good things about her. She is so attentive, kind, responsible and will go above and beyond making sure your pets have what they need. She is the best Rover we have ever booked. Shes such a gem, our cats loved her, and she made sure to keep everything running smoothly in the house when little things came up. So much peace of mind knowing she was there with them and keeping an eye on the house!! Will absolutely use her again for any upcoming trips, she is the best! Thank you so much Rachel!
Rachel took care of our two cats for 14 days. She was absolutely wonderful with them. She was able to connect to the cats right away, and even though they are usually shy and even hide from strangers, Rachel was able to get them to come out on the first day and took wonderful pictures of them sniffing her hands and eating. Rachel even took care of watering the plants and cleaning up around the bit of ants that the cat food attracted, as well as the cat poops and pees that our cats tend to leave around the house, and monitored how they were doing each day. We would definitely ask Rachel to come again.
Rachel went above and beyond with our pup! She gave us detailed notes and lots of pictures after each drop in visit that left me confident that he was in the best hands. During our meet and greet, Rachel took notes and had questions ready to make sure that she would give our dog the best care. Would 1000% recommend Rachel!!
