I’m a local elementary school teacher who loves spending time with animals! During the school year, I teach full-time, so my schedule may be more limited than during summer or holidays, but outside of the classroom I love to care for pets in my community. I may have a master’s degree in Education from Stanford, but I just love getting outside to love on some neighborhood animals! I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I helped walk and care for our family dogs, and as an adult I’ve continued dog walking and pet sitting both here in California and while living in the Boston area. I’m also an experienced cat owner with three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with all kinds of personalities. One of my cats had significant behavioral challenges, which led me to work with an animal behaviorist and spend countless hours learning about feline behavior. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and clicker training, I taught him tricks and helped him become much more comfortable around people. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll care for them with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind through reliable care and regular updates.

Jess did great with Moose! The meet and greet beforehand helped us (and Moose) to feel really comfortable with everything. Jess asked great questions, showing how much she cared about the visit! And we appreciated her flexibility with last minute time changes. Thank you Jess!! 🐾🐾
Jess is awesome! Incredibly attentive, responsive and caring. My kitty is older and needs lots of affection- he didn’t even seem to notice I was gone with Jess coming to care for him. I cannot recommend her highly enough!! Thank you Jess for being such a wonderful cat sitter for Carl!

Jess was a wonderful check in companion for our older medium size pup, Zoe. She took great care of her and is an excellent communicator. We will definitely ask her to watch Zoe again!

Jess was awesome! We had a change of plans last minute before the Memorial Day weekend and I was able to find Jess the day before we left. We scheduled a meet and greet the day we were leaving to give her the rundown on how to take care of our dog (Bella), 3 guinea pigs, and rabbit. She took it all in and exceeded my expectations as I was expecting a phone call or message about something but I never did. She absolutely took great care of all of our animals!
