About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and truly nothing makes me happier than time spent playing and cuddling with one. I recently moved to Palo Alto from New York City and live on Stanford’s campus while my boyfriend gets his MBA. I have a a relatively flexible schedule. I love walking, so your pup will get plenty of long strolls rather than a quick trip around the block. There’s a huge lawn right next to my apartment for fetch and zoomies, and a dog park nearby (on campus) for dogs who like to socialize. After all that, I’m always up for couch cuddles. I’ll treat your dog like my own and send plenty of photos and updates, so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I’d love to meet you both! I work from home on East Coast hours, Monday through Friday, so my workday wraps up early and I’m usually free from around 3pm onward on weekdays. That leaves my afternoons and evenings open for walks, playtime and cuddles. On weekends I’m generally available when I’m in town and can be flexible depending on plans for the weekend. I keep my calendar up to date, so if a date shows as open, I’m happy to help! I live in an apartment on Stanford’s campus with a huge lawn right next door and a dog park nearby, so there’s plenty of space for exercise and play. I keep dogs on a leash on walks, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine for feeding, walks and bedtime so they feel at home. Because I work from home, I’m around during the day. I’ll send photos and updates so you always know how your pup is doing, and I’m always glad to do a meet and greet first.

About: I love dogs of all breeds and sizes! I had a yellow lab growing up and have rescued 3x dogs since. I will be in the area for a few years of grad school and would love to care for your dogs! Same day bookings accepted! I’m flexible on timing and only have a class schedule to contend with, so I am typically free most mornings and evenings. I am comfortable around all types of dogs. I can run with or extensively play with your high energy dog, if requested! For the more senior, sleepy, and smaller dogs, I give great pets!

About: Over the years, l've noticed something consistent in my time with animals. I can't recall a single negative experience with a cat or dog. Nearly every animal I've met has grown comfortable with me quickly, often right from the first meeting. I believe this comes down to how I approach them. I naturally talk to animals as if they can understand me, and in many ways, they seem to respond to that. I've also learned to read the quiet signals they give, their body language, their expressions, the subtle ways they communicate comfort or hesitation. That silent understanding and mutual trust is at the heart of why I love working with animals. I won’t just watch your pets, I’ll build a connection! I'm currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design and will be starting my fall semester this term. In addition to my studies, I work part time as a studio assistant at Color Me Mine, a pottery shop where I help customers with their projects and keep the studio running smoothly. I also assist a professional home stager, supporting her with staging setups and helping spaces feel inviting and functional. Because my schedule with the home stager varies week to week, I'm looking for an additional flexible role that can work around my classes and current commitments. I'm reliable, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities. Living in a small studio while studying interior design, I knew I couldn't bring my pets from home so I made the choice to rescue an indoor cat who needed a safe, loving home. I set him up with a window perch, which he loves for watching the neighborhood cats and birds. Every day, I leave my front door open so he can enjoy the fresh air from behind the screen a way to experience the outdoors safely. I've also tried introducing him to the outdoors on a harness so he could get familiar with the area, but since it's a busy neighborhood, the sounds understandably overwhelmed him. I respected that and adapted. Instead, he gets plenty of affection, he loves being petted and snuggling under my blanket, and I give him as much attention as I can throughout the day, even if it means going through endless lint rollers to keep his hair off me! I'm also passionate about taking dogs on walks honestly, the one thing I wish cats enjoyed more! For me, care is about reading each animal's comfort level, building trust at their pace, and creating a safe space where they feel secure.

About: I’ve walked dogs professionally and casually for friends and neighbors, and I’ve also fostered both dogs and cats, so I’m used to helping animals settle into new environments and routines. I also own large pets myself, so I’m very comfortable with bigger breeds, their energy, exercise needs, and handling. Whether it’s a high-energy dog who needs a good walk or a cat who just needs a calm, attentive presence, I know how to keep pets of all kinds happy and well cared for. I work part time, so I have flexible hours to fit pet care into my routine. I'm available most weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my schedule for feeding, playtime, or check ins whenever your cat needs me. I can care for your cat in your home or mine, depending on what works best for you. My space is quiet and calm with no other pets or kids, so your cat can settle in without distractions. In your home, I follow your routines closely and keep things safe and familiar.

About: I own a 7 year old shorkie(shitzu yorkie mix) and a 2 year old high energy whippet dog. I have taken care of my neighbors and rancher grandparents dogs and animals since I was 10. I am currently a freshman at CSM who plays volleyball. I have practice and school every day from about 8 am- 3 pm. My weekend are mostly free. I have a fenced in yard, a large safe house for animals, two friendly small dogs, and a cat who gets along with dogs and other cats.

About: I'm a student looking to help out with local pet care and housesitting this fall. I live off campus on my own, I'm vegan, and I genuinely love animals. My classes don't require attendance since I use recorded lectures, and I don't work a job, so my schedule is very flexible. I'm more than happy to keep your pets company, stick to their regular routines and daily walks, and make sure everything is taken care of. I'm also comfortable caring for dogs with extra needs, including giving pills, administering eye drops, and helping with mobility, like assisting senior dogs with stairs, ramps, or getting up and down. I'll always send plenty of photo updates so you know they're doing great. I've cared for dogs and cats for neighboring families and friends for many years, so I'm comfortable handling pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. My home is very clean and dog-proofed, and my housing has double doors for extra security. I live off campus and independently, and my schedule is incredibly open and flexible this fall. None of my classes have mandatory attendance, so I watch recorded lectures on my own time, which leaves me with plenty of free time during the week and on weekends. Since I don't work a job, I can hang out with your pets, stick to their routines, and make sure they're taken care of as if they were my own. 🐾🤍 Safety is my top priority. I always double-check locks and gates, follow your feeding, medication, and walking instructions exactly, and keep a close eye on your pets the whole time. I've cared for dogs and cats for family and friends for years, so I know what can go wrong and how to prevent it. My housing has double doors, which adds an extra layer of protection if a pet is prone to bolting or escaping. My home is also very clean and fully dog-proofed, so your pets will be comfortable and safe. 🐾🔒

About: We are Yun and Lina, a husband-and-wife dog-loving team living on Stanford campus. We provide warm, attentive, home-based care in a calm, clean, and comfortable apartment environment. Many of the pups we care for come from Stanford-affiliated families, including students, researchers, faculty, and staff, and we’re also happy to welcome dogs from the broader Bay Area community. Lina has a dog training certificate and we use gentle handling, patience, and positive reinforcement in our care. Her training background helps us better understand dog body language, signs of stress, and how to help dogs settle into a new environment. Because there are two of us, your dog gets more love, attention, supervision, and flexibility throughout the day. We only take a small number of dogs at a time so we can provide personalized care and make each pup feel safe, loved, and comfortable. 🐶💛 Pet care is naturally part of our daily routine! 🐾 Since there are two of us and our schedule is very flexible, we do our best to make sure at least one of us is home with your pup for most of the day. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up my family always had dogs and I was trusted at a young age to feed, walk, and otherwise care for them (which included administering medication to dogs who were not always the most cooperative). I have also been riding horses competitively for over 20 years and was a member of the University of Georgia Division I Equestrian Team. Although I was surrounded by horses during my time in college, I desperately missed my family dogs and as a result started house and pet sitting for people in the Athens area. My junior year my roommate got a dog and I frequently chipped in to help with his care when she was out of town or had a particularly hectic schedule. After college I attended law school in Washington, DC where I continued to house and pet sit for my friends, other residents in my apartment building, and others in the community. I graduated from law school in May 2025 and have since moved back to the Bay Area (I grew up in Menlo Park) as I am in between professional opportunities. I have found that I have some extra time on my hands and so I thought I would get back to house and pet sitting, this time specifically through Rover. In the past I have always gotten clients through word of mouth, which is why my extensive experience is not necessarily reflected on my Rover profile. At this time I am house and pet sitting on a part time basis, but I have a lot of flexibility as most of my other daily commitments can be easily fulfilled from any location; this means that if you have a pet that prefers constant company I can easily work from your home so your pet can get everything they need. I feel comfortable administering medications and am used to feeding animals with more complicated diets/food regimes. I have experience caring for animals of all ages. I am responsible, trustworthy, communicative, detail oriented, and most importantly love animals, which means that you can be worry free while your pet is in my hands. I am also very neat and conscientious, so if I am staying at your home I will take very good care of your space and your plants (if necessary). At the moment I am house and pet sitting part time, but my schedule is quite flexible so I have quite a lot of availability. I can drop in for walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, cat litter cleanings, etc basically every day of the week any time before 7:00 pm. My one schedule restriction is a weekly appointment on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:00. I update my availability often and will make sure that any other schedule restrictions that come up are reflected on there for your convenience. When it comes to house and pet sitting that involves me staying at your home, I am available for that any day of the week. I can complete most of my other professional commitments (Monday - Friday) remotely from your home, so your pet would not have to be alone all day while I went to work. I am unfortunately not able to bring your pet to my home at this time, so all care would occur at (or around in the case of walking) your home. I will follow whatever instructions you provide regarding the care of your pet. I feel comfortable administering medication, managing complicated diets, and dealing with picky eaters (my dog is a very picky eater and I have learned a lot of tactics that work well for him and other dogs I have cared for). If your pet uses any sort of automatic feeder, litter box, etc I am a fast learner and feel confident that I would be able to work with most devices of this sort. I likely would generally walk your pet around your neighborhood, but if time permits and that is something you would like/feel comfortable with I am happy to take your pet to a local dog park, park, hike, etc. My dog loves playing with frisbees and balls, so if that is something your pet enjoys I would be more than happy to do that as well.

About: Treat the puppies very gently and make friends with them. Please rest assured to entrust your family pets to me. I like animals very much. I have a flexible schedule and am available for pet care in the mornings and evenings. My daily routine is stable and organized, which allows me to provide reliable and consistent care for pets. I am currently continuing my studies, but I have plenty of availability to spend time with pets, including walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I enjoy creating a calm and comfortable experience for every pet I care for. I understand that your home is your pet’s safe place, and I will treat it with respect and care. During visits, I follow your instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I pay attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, whether they enjoy playtime, walks, or simply quiet companionship.
