About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I also have experience dog-sitting for larger dogs in the area, including Golden Retrievers and Black Labs. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. Over the summer, I will be working about 5 hrs/week in person and 10 hrs/week remotely. I am very flexible for dog walking, including in the morning and the evening. I live in a 2BR/2BA apartment building on Stanford campus. The building is very new. It is surrounded by several fields and playgrounds, so there is plenty of space for dogs to be walked. About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. Rachel took care of our two cats for 14 days. She was absolutely wonderful with them. She was able to connect to the cats right away, and even though they are usually shy and even hide from strangers, Rachel was able to get them to come out on the first day and took wonderful pictures of them sniffing her hands and eating. Rachel even took care of watering the plants and cleaning up around the bit of ants that the cat food attracted, as well as the cat poops and pees that our cats tend to leave around the house, and monitored how they were doing each day. We would definitely ask Rachel to come again.
Tillana is seriously a cat whisperer. We have two cats who are usually wary around strangers but to our very pleasant surprise, they both quickly warmed up to her from the very first meeting!! I think it made a huge difference that she’s detail-oriented. Prior to the first visit, she asked a lot of questions about the cats’ personalities to be best prepared and really wowed us with her memory recall about our cats’ likes/dislikes during the first visit. During that visit, she came in with calm, gentle, friendly energy and our cats really responded positively to that. They immediately let her pet them and even gave her little licks!! They’ve never done that before to someone new! Every day she sent us beautiful, thoughtful updates that really made us feel at ease while we were away. Every update put big smiles on our faces and we felt so comfortable knowing that our fur babies were in such trustworthy, capable hands. Tillana is such a warm, kind-hearted person and I think it really shows through how receptive pets are towards her. We feel truly lucky to have found her and would absolutely recommend to her to anyone looking for exceptional, top-tier level of care.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
