About: Hi! I’m Ally, an animal lover with professional animal care experience ranging from pet boarding facilities to the Oakland Zoo. My approach is calm, attentive, patient, and individualized to each animal. Animals have always been a central part of my life. I became vegetarian as a child because of my love for animals, and that value continues to guide both my personal and professional life today. Professionally, I previously worked at a pet boarding facility where I handled client communication, maintained veterinary and care records, administered medications, monitored feeding and intake, and provided daily hands-on animal care. About: I have extensive experience taking care of reactive and high-maintenance dogs, including my own. I am comfortable dealing with aggressive dogs and will do everything in my power to make your dog feel safe and relaxed on walks or while I keep them company at home. I have spent years cultivating a trusting relationship with my own senior rescue dog who requires special bathing and walking care in his old age and who was extremely anxious and aggressive with other dogs in his younger years. I have been a reliable dog-walker for friends and neighbors who trust me to take care of both their low- and high-needs dogs. I am very patient, and I understand that establishing a positive and trusting relationship with any animal takes time and effort. I look forward to meeting your wonderful pet! I am a PhD student at Stanford with a moderately flexible schedule. Typically I work 9-5 weekdays. For dog walking, it is easiest for me to walk in the later afternoon, starting around 4pm. I am open to house sitting as long as you live near Stanford campus (I have a bike, but no car). For pet sitting, I usually plan a short walk/play time in the morning, a longer walk in the late afternoon, and a short walk/play time in the evening. I am more flexible on weekends. I believe that building a relationship with pets takes time, and I am willing to put in the effort to establish and bond with your pet. This will make the experience better for both of us! I am happy to play with pets in the home and enjoy giving belly rubs too.
About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I am well-versed in walking large and stubborn dogs such as Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees. I have been a parent to Wells, a very high-energy Vizsla, for 5 years now. We did all our training ourselves and successfully trained a great loose-leash walker. I am eager to help other dogs learn this skill as well! I am working locums, so I am gone for 4 days twice a month and otherwise home and available the rest of the month. Open for walks and visits all day! If your dog is open to a play date, I have a very friendly, high-energy dog that would love to get his zoomies out with your pup. Open to going for long walks or nearby fenced-in dog parks.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was in elementary school, and I currently own two labs. I’ve taken care of puppies and senior dogs—whether it be dog walking, general play, or feeding / caretaking. If your dog needs medication or any special care, I’m attentive and careful to follow directions closely. I also keep their space clean and make sure they’re relaxed and settled while you’re away. About: Other then caring for my two family dogs i worked at adogo pet hotels for about a year! Also helping with cousins and other friends dogs! Would be caring around my regular work schedule. when i am home my pets are my number 1 priority always. they come first for sure at my home i let them out the front and keep them on the leashes or let them out in the fenced in back yard! will do whatever is best for the client

About: I have helped foster dogs for at least 5 years now. I understand that each dog may require their own individual needs and care, which is why I am open minded to trying different ways to look after each dog. I work a part-time job in retail. I can't say enough good things about Anna! She arrived on time and jumped right in to playing with Louie. She took him for a walk, played with him in the yard, and gave him a much-needed rest time. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
