“Xiao was an absolute joy to work with! She took wonderful care of our two cats, Shmi and Tako, while we were away. Her communication was excellent from start to finish. She kept us updated with detailed notes and sent the cutest photos after every visit, which really put our minds at ease. She was very respectful of our home and incredibly adaptable, asking great questions to ensure she got everything right. It was clear the cats felt comfortable with her immediately (Tako was obsessed!). If you’re looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and communicative sitter, I highly recommend Xiao!”

“This is the first time I have used Rover.com to find a pet sitter for our cats. I reached out to Tyler and had a meet and greet with him. Tyler was wonderful with the care of our kitties. I could tell that they were cared for as they seemed calm (not starved for attention) upon our return 7 days later. I loved the daily reports and photos from Tyler. He kept me informed and the pet areas (litter, feeding mats) were clean. It was a pleasure to have Tyler take care of our cats. I would definitely recommend him and will book him again next time we have a trip.”

“Miriam was so great with our dog. She sent us the cutest update photos that showed how much love and attention she was receiving. She also brought in some of our packages for us and was very communicative. We will definitely book her again.”

“Barbara was very caring of our senior cat--we had full faith that she was being well taken care of. Barbara sent us thorough updates and thoughtful questions. Book Barbara without hesitation! Thanks, Barbara!”

About: Dogs and cats have been a meaningful part of my life for the past 18 years, and caring for them has taught me how much love, patience, and trust goes into pet care. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone who will truly pay attention and treat them with kindness. What sets me apart is that I’m very detail-oriented and empathetic. I notice small changes in behavior, energy, appetite, or mood, and I adjust based on what each pet needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior pets and pets who need a calm, gentle approach. I can also help reinforce basic routines like feeding schedules, leash manners, and calm behavior. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. Here’s a good way to phrase it: I’m currently between full-time roles, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and consistent care, and I can usually accommodate mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Because my schedule is open, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, stick closely to their routines, and be reliable for last-minute or recurring bookings. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. In my home or a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, medications, and any house rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and I always pay attention to the pet’s behavior and comfort level. I keep the environment calm, clean, and low-stress, especially for senior dogs or pets who need extra patience. I’ll also provide updates so owners know their pet is safe, cared for, and happy.
“Yiping took care of our cat for a week providing daily drop-in visits, and everything went great! Yiping communicated clear, sent us photos and updates. We felt confident that our cat was in good hands.”

About: Hello my name is Stephanie! :) I have owned dogs and pets my whole life (dogs, guinea pigs, and bunnies) and absolutely love them. I have a goldendoodle who is 3 years old and is super friendly with new friends. I work remotely so I am available over the week and weekends for overnight boarding and day care. I would love to work with reoccurring families so that I can really build relationships with your furry friend. I am a very outdoorsy person and love to take dogs out on adventures to dog parks, hikes, or for long walks. I can't wait to meet you and have fun with your pet! I work remote and have a flexible schedule over the week so I will be able to spend all day with your best friend and give them all the love and attention they need while you are away! Your pup will be going on tons of walks throughout the day! I would prefer to watch your pet in my own home but am also open to pet sitting and can make arrangements to visit your pet.
“Michele was great with my cat. Came everyday as scheduled and sent pictures. She kept him company while he ate and then played with him. Nice to have someone that understands cats. Will use her again.”

“We met with Amanda at a park with our dog and her two dogs. Amanda is very good at knowing what to do to help the dogs get to know each other. She is knowledgeable about dog behavior. She is gentle and easy going and encourages our dog to get to know her, too.”

“She did a great job taking care of my cat! She was always on time, extremely responsive, and sent lots of videos, pictures, and updates which I really appreciated. She followed all my instructions perfectly, including feeding times, food amounts, and refreshing water! I felt totally comfortable knowing my cat was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely book with her again for future trips. She was professional, and very caring!! You can truly tell she has a love a cats 🐱”

“Samantha was great to work with and did such a good job taking care of our two kittys while we were out of town. We were gone 10 days which is the longest we’ve ever left them for but felt super relaxed knowing Samantha was taking such good care of them. 5/5 would recommend using Samantha for your pet sitting needs!”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I have known, cared for, and loved animals for as long as I can remember. I have had small dogs, big dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, bunnies, sheep, cows, pigs, and horses. Point is, I have always loved animals, I come from a family that loves animals, and promise to take care and love yours as if they are my own. I currently have a 6 year old Cane Corso (Maeve) and a 3 year old cat (Ghost). My last cat (Gati) lived till she was 18 and childhood dog (Snoopy) lived till he was 16. I can send you as many updates and pictures as your heart desires, I know how terrifying it is to leave your baby in the care and hands of someone else and I completely understand if you have any concerns or questions; I am more than happy to answer them! I promise to take the best care of your fur-baby and make sure that they (and you) feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you are away! I'm currently at doctoral student at Stanford, so I spend most of my days studying and going for walks/hikes. I can take them on walks every 2 hours. I am free most of the day outside of my classes, relaxing, so you can rest assured your baby will be safe, looked after, and cared for! I can study while I watch them and take study breaks going for walks together! I am more than happy to make any accommodations or address any needs you'll need to ensure your baby's comfort and safety! I currently live with my boyfriend in an apartment, so he can take care of Maeve at home (our dog), and I am able to pet sit for as long as you need. I have a cane corso, so I am used to playing ALOT (tug of war, chasing, hyping them up, etc). I am no stranger to big and energetic dogs, so trust me I can handle anything you throw at me. As for cats, I can play or chill and pet them all day, if you let me.

About: I have an Alaskan Malamute that I’ve had for 9 years. Because I raised and trained him since he was a puppy, I am patient, responsible, and incredibly comfortable with high energy dogs. I’m athletic and enjoy walks at different speeds, from calm walks to faster paced walks. I truly love animals and will care for every dog like my own.✨🐶 I recently graduated from university and I’m currently between jobs, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time for dog walks. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust to each pet’s routine and needs. Safety is very important to me. I’m a responsible and caring person, and I believe dogs deserve love, attention, and safe care. I have an Alaskan Malamute that I raised and trained, so I understand patience, leash safety, reading a dog’s behavior, and following routines. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and send updates after every walk, so you know your dog is comfortable and in good hands.
“Molly is fantastic! She was incredibly reliable and responsive throughout the entire time. You can tell she is genuinely caring and friendly. I felt totally at ease leaving my golden retriever with her. Highly recommend!”

Fernanda accepted a last minute booking and took great care of our two cats, including giving one medication. They can be a little fickle but she understood when they wanted attention and when they didn’t. She also provided good communication and pictures every visit, so we could relax knowing they were doing well. I will definitely trust her with them in the future!
I was very impressed with G.'s visits. My cat is very skittish but when I returned from my trip, she was calm so I think G. did nothing to cause anxiety. In addition, in one of her daily reports, G. pointed out something about the cat's feeding habits. I was aware of this but felt that it was very responsible of G. to notice it after just a couple of days and bring it to my attention. I will be calling G. the next time I have a trip planned. Thank you G. for being so conscientious.
Rachel is our regular and favorite cat sitter since we joined Rover over a few years ago! She’s very reliable, has excellent communication, provides fun, detailed reports and sweet photos of my two cats. I can go on trips in peace knowing Rachel is handling everything. She takes great care of my apartment and cats and they absolutely love her! Rachel is the absolute best!

Melody responded super fast when I had a last-minute request to check on my cat. She went over to my apartment and checked on her right away. I really appreciate how quickly she replied and took action—she was a huge help! I'm incredibly grateful for her assistance.

Jonathan was absolutely incredible with our two kittens! From the moment we connected, he was easy to coordinate with and made the whole experience stress-free. He sent detailed updates throughout, so we always knew our lil cats were happy and well cared for — and you could just tell how much fun they were having with him. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely loves animals the way Jonathan does, and our kittens were in the most caring and kind hands. We’re already looking forward to booking with him again!

Yi is an amazing pet sitter. She took great care of my cat who absolutely adores her. She gave my cat plenty of play time, treats, cuddles, fresh water and clean litter. She took the time to meet up with me and my cat to learn about our space, my cat’s personality and needs. She was respectful of my home and was a great communicator. I would definitely book with Yi again!
