“Conner was incredible to work with and did a fantastic job taking care of our cats. He was quick-to-respond, proactively communicative, and obviously truly cared about our cats’ well being. He went above and beyond to make sure the cats were comfy and our house was clean. I would absolutely recommend booking with him!”

“Caroline was so easy to communicate with throughout, helping set my mind at ease that my three cats were getting the care I had hoped for. She provided a lovely little summary and photos each day, allowing me to get a glimpse of how my furbabies were doing. She regularly administered medication to my one cat who has a digestive issues. She kept me updated when she vomited (an occasional issue) and cleaned it up. She followed my requests around opening a few windows during her visits, refilling a humidifier regularly for my one cat’s asthma or plugging in the AC the night before a hot day. I appreciated knowing my cats had such a reliable caring person to check in on them, play with them, give them the attention they wanted, and provide food and water. I would absolutely have Caroline care for my cats again!”

About: I grow up with three dogs, two German Shepards and one Bernese. I took care of them from babies to their last days. There is missing piece in my life without them. After raising diverse-character dogs, I learned to handle any circumstance, and love them with empathy. Working from home, in a flexible schedule. Then, I’m really looking forward to dog walks, taking sun, and give a rest to my computer. Also, dogs can be a good company while working. I have a fenced yard, available water, and an always clean backyard. While waking, I’m aware of my surroundings; I give space for pets when then need it; and identify potential dangers before they are a problem. Also, I’m flexible with special requests.
“My dog Harvey loves Vicky! she’s dependable, always on time and does everything we ask of her when she comes in for drop in visits. We have already rebooked her. She’s great!”

“Alondra provided excellent updates while cat sitting for us. Not only was she very communicative, she also left the house better than she found it. Would 100% recommend her for cat sitting and hope to work with her again!”

“Andriana is amazing. My puppy LOVES her, he wags his tail so much as soon as she shows up. She plays with him the entire time, is so available, and communicates before, during, and after the check in. I recommend her so much.”

“Audrey was well-taken care of while we were on a trip. Diane did a great job caring for her and sent a picture every day. We came home to a happy, calm cat. Thanks, Diane!”

About: With 5 years of pet care experience, I specialize in puppy care, house-training, and positive reinforcement. As a proud parent of two young pups—including an energetic Australian Shepherd—I deeply understand puppy behaviors, teething, crate training, and social boundaries. My background working in early childhood education has also equipped me with extreme patience, high alertness for safety, and a natural ability to structure a fun yet secure routine for pets. Whether your dog needs gentle guidance, playful enrichment, or senior comfort, they will receive undivided attention and love. As a graduate student, my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am available for multi-day boarding, daycare, and overnight stays. Because I study primarily from home, your pet will rarely be left alone and will enjoy constant companionship, timely potty breaks, and plenty of structured mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. Safety is my absolute highest priority. I maintain a secure, dog-friendly environment fully adapted for active puppies. When welcoming guest pets, I ensure slow, supervised introductions and keep a watchful eye on play dynamics. I strictly follow your specific feeding, medication, and training instructions. Daily photo and video updates are guaranteed so you can have complete peace of mind while away.

“Isabella looked in on our cat while away and we were very happy with how it went. She clearly gave him lots of attention, did all that was asked, and took initiative to clean up some of the mess our cat made. We hope Isabella is available for next time!”

“Elvira did drop ins on my two cats while I was away, they are shy cats but did come out to play with her which is a huge compliment. My extra cautious girl cat even allowed Elvira to pet her!”

About: First-time bookings on Rover can get a $20 discount! Use my code kaitlt22451 for additional savings, even if you don't book with me 🌟 Pet Veteran 🐾 I've been on Rover since 2024 and have cared for pets of family and friends long before I joined Rover. I am particularly experienced in caring for and training senior dogs. I understand the need to prepare special meals for dietary needs and catering playtime to a dog's health and interests. Administering oral medicine is no biggie for me, as long as I'm made aware of how they usually prefer to take their meds! If the dog is able to, I love taking them out for walks and playing games to keep their mind and body stimulated. There is nothing better than loving our furry family members who always give us unconditional love! I also have experience caring for cats and knowing the importance of respecting their space and letting them come to me when they're comfortable! I love playing with cats or even just watching them sunbathe in the most random parts of a home. I am open to caring for all types of animals (I've had to watch hamsters in addition to dogs before), so your pet will always be showered with love! Prior to Booking 🗓️ I will always ask to schedule a meet & greet to ensure your pet is comfortable with me. During this meet & greet, I'd love to know more about your pet's daily routine, a tour of your home, and any other housekeeping notes I should know during the stay. The meet & greet is to see if we're a good fit and make sure we're both comfortable proceeding with the booking. I always ask my clients to type up a document with pet care instructions and any notes about the home to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. If your pet requires constant supervision due to separation anxiety or behavior that requires special attention (aggressive behavior, chews on personal items, constantly barks throughout the day, always pulls on the leash, not potty trained, has a habit of biting or scratching unprovoked), an additional flat fee of $20 will be added to reflect the additional care that they'll require. What to Expect 💭 Multiple photo updates during the day! I always send photos before they're requested. You'll see what your pets are up to, whether there are any issues going on that you need to know, or just silly moments of them that I happened to capture. It'll be like you never left them. Many walks (around 2-3 times a day), cuddles, treats (as allowed), and toys to keep your pet entertained during the day! Your home will be respected and kept in a clean condition. I understand the anxiety of having someone else in your home, so I'll always respect boundaries about rooms to leave untouched, taking out the garbage, bringing in mail, and washing any dishes that may be used. I also try to clean your pet's food and water bowls daily to ensure their health and safety! I will often put any used towels or bedsheets in one place or pre-loaded into the washing machine so that you're aware of what was used. I am available during the entire week, including weekends, so I plan my day around your pet's schedule for quality feeding time, play time, and cuddles! I typically spend most of the day with your pet, stepping out to run errands as necessary. To respect my time, if you require more than one meet & greet, they will be $15 for 30 minutes each. The first meet & greet is free! I always keep track of where the pet is in the home and maintain a watchful eye of what they’re eating, playing with, or exploring. Since I have a senior dog of my own, I understand the need to react quickly to any alarming noises or behavior and am able to think on my feet to address concerns while also keeping you in the loop! I am also quick to notice when play time is getting too intense and a fight might break out so I know when to step in and distract pets to help de-escalate the situation.
About: I have always had a dog in my life. Giant breeds mostly, but all kinds tug at my heart. I wasn’t blessed with children so I pour out all that maternal love on my animals. I cook a lot for our Cane Corso-veggies, ground turkey, even scrambled eggs, and he loves it. I have been called a “dog whisperer” by some who witness my interactions with furry friends. I retired early so I have been home with our Cane Corso since he was 9 mos old. I believe the attention and love we have showered on our pup has allowed him to be both loving and obedient. He has never shown aggression to other dogs and he is liked by many other pet owners we have met over the last 5 years. I am physically fit and able to care for any size dog, and feel confident in caring for our vulnerable family members. Since I am home, I would be able to visit your pup or walk him/her while you’re at work. Dogs definitely get lonely so having company can be a game-changer in their behavior and life span. I am used to talking to pets, as I believe our tone of voice gives them security and builds trust. I would not only talk to your pet(s) in a loving way, but also pet them and play with them, as well as walk them. For our dog, I am adamant about fresh water in his bowl several times a day, and gets fed at regular times (he gets 4 small meals/day!) He has been in our front yard since he was 4 mos old so he gets to lounge on the grass without disturbing the neighbors. It has been a great way to acclimate him to people, big and small. If that is something you would like to try (with supervision) I am all for it.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Sunnyvale
Very professional went above and beyond. Took care of our older and ailing cat and administered medicine. On another occasion took care of our younger cat while we were gone but had painters in the house. Because it was too chaotic Michelle took our cat home of course with our permission.
Jennifer took great care of our cat while we were away with drop in visits. I was impressed with her questions and checklist on our meet and great and overall her proactive communication. She also took care of mail, packages etc to give us total peace of mind. I have already rebooked her!

Super amazing cat sitter! I had to go on a last minute flight and was able to book Rendell with 3 days notice for the following 10 days. He is super responsive (responded to my messages almost instantly) and was super flexible with times (I had to increase from 1 visit to 2 visits a day, and also had to adjust the scheduled dates later). Every visit, he cleaned the food and water bowls, refilled kibble to exactly 35g with my scale, fed him a quarter can of wet food, and played with him using the wand toy. My cat had a mild case of ringworms and he was also able to accommodate for that and send me daily photos of his skin to track if things were getting worse. He was also able to operate my automatic litter machine and refill the trash bag, as well as help me clean the roomba after it vacuumed and mopped. Would recommend to anyone looking for a seamless experience!

Conner was incredible to work with and did a fantastic job taking care of our cats. He was quick-to-respond, proactively communicative, and obviously truly cared about our cats’ well being. He went above and beyond to make sure the cats were comfy and our house was clean. I would absolutely recommend booking with him!

Jin was fantastic with Jojo! It was our first time using Rover, and she made the whole process completely stress-free while we were away. She followed all our daily instructions perfectly, kept everything clean, and gave Jojo plenty of attention. We'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we travel!

Yongzheng was absolutely wonderful with my cats! She came at the exact same time every single day, which really helped keep my cats on their routine. She is incredibly caring and attentive, and she made sure to spend quality time playing with them during each visit. My cats were so well taken care of, and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely be booking her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
