My home is a dedicated "home away from home" where your dog becomes part of our family during their stay. ✨ My Philosophy: Quality Care Driven by Experience My approach to care is rooted in a lifetime of pet ownership and a deep commitment to the well-being of every animal in my care. • Specialized Senior Care: Having shared my home with four beloved senior dogs through their golden years, I have a deep understanding of the patience, gentle attention, and extra compassion that older pets require. • Full-Time Supervision: As a retiree who is home all day, I dedicate my time to ensuring every guest receives consistent supervision and individualized love. • Fair & Accessible Rates: I choose to keep my rates accessible because I want every owner to have the opportunity to provide their pet with expert care without financial strain. 🕒 Daycare Hours & Extended Care To support the long workdays of Silicon Valley, I offer a transparent "Extended Care" pricing structure: • Standard Daycare ($45): Covers up to 9 hours of care. • Long Days (9–12 hours): An additional $5 per hour after the 9-hour mark. • Over 12 Hours: Any daycare stay exceeding 12 hours is capped at my Boarding rate ($67). Pricing Note: All requests are manually modified to reflect these rates before booking.

Tofu had his first sleep over at Dawns and he clearly was having the best time of his life. I always feel at ease when Tofu is with Dawn! She’s our go to boarding sitter and day care sitter too! Tofu always comes back completely spent, he’s a happy boy everytime we take him to Dawn’s. Thank you Dawn!!
As I said before - top-notch service. Giving updates through detailed and fun to read msgs , amazing photos and videos . Treating our puppies like their own. Bringing them to the dog park and letting them ran around . Giving them cuddles . Letting them meet with other puppies/dogs. Making Safi and Coco’s day special.Most importantly we felt assured that our puppies are not just taken cared of but well loved as well. Thank you Dawn n Fam!
Dawn has saved us twice now and helped us out very last minute. She’s responsive and takes initiative to take care of our cats when they need something.

Dawn provides some of the most entertaining and thorough updates I've ever read... I always look forward to reading them when I'm away. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail puts my anxious mind at ease. I could tell that my dog was having so much fun playing with friends and visiting new places. At times I wondered if my dog was enjoying her vacation more than I was enjoying mine!
Dawn is great! Nova looks forward to seeing her, Mel, Manny and the pack! She is tired out when she gets home and I know she’s safely cared for! Highly recommend Dawn for your furry baby!

I'm a dedicated pet owner of one happy dog, so pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily routine. As I'm recently retired, I'm home all day, dedicating my time to my furry companion and yours. From morning walks to evening cuddles, my dog is my constant companion. This experience has given me a deep understanding of canine needs, from exercise and nutrition to affection and companionship. The only time I'm away is when I'm out walking my own dog or a client's dog, ensuring consistent supervision and care for your pet.

I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment where your dog is treated like a member of the family. As a retiree, I am home throughout the day—only away briefly for walks—to ensure your pet has consistent supervision and companionship. Our Home & Adventures: • Comfort First: My home features a dedicated dog room designed specifically for your pet's relaxation. Dogs are welcome to relax on the furniture and can even sleep in my bedroom (including on the bed!) if that is where they feel most secure. • Secure Play: We have a fenced-in yard for secure potty breaks. • Enriching Outings: We are conveniently located near a beautiful greenbelt and the bay for enriching daily adventures and scenic walks. Safety & Compatibility: • Supervision: I currently have one energetic dog of my own and can accommodate up to three guest dogs at a time. I prefer guests 30lbs or under, though I am open to larger, well-behaved dogs. • Crating Policy: For safety and peace of mind, crate training is highly recommended. However, I only use crating when absolutely necessary (never more than four hours during the day) and at night when I have more than one overnight guest. • Requirements: Visiting pets must be house-trained, socialized, and not excessive barkers. I require current vaccination history, flea/tick prevention details, and emergency contact information prior to booking to ensure a safe environment for all.

A typical day
A typical day begins with a peaceful morning in my fenced-in yard, followed by a nutritious breakfast and light indoor play. Because I am retired and home all day, your pet enjoys consistent companionship and a balanced routine of exercise, rest, and plenty of "human time." Daily Adventures & Relaxation: • Tailored Outings: Our main walks happen in the late morning or afternoon. Whether it’s an energetic stroll along the bay, a gentle walk through the local greenbelt, or a fun trip to the local dog park, I tailor activity levels to your dog's specific needs and social preferences. • Personalized Care: Every pet receives individual love, from cozy cuddle sessions on the furniture to quiet downtime when they need it. Evening & Sleeping Arrangements: As the day winds down, we transition into a quiet period of lounging together. To ensure a safe and restful night, I evaluate each guest's needs and current group dynamics to decide where they will be most comfortable: • In bed with me: (Limit of one guest dog, as my own dog also sleeps with me). • In a dog bed within my bedroom. • In a crate within the dedicated dog room (recommended for safety/peace of mind).
