I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment where your dog is treated like a member of the family. As a retiree, I am home throughout the day—only away briefly for walks—to ensure your pet has consistent supervision and companionship. Our Home & Adventures: • Comfort First: My home features a dedicated dog room designed specifically for your pet's relaxation. Dogs are welcome to relax on the furniture and can even sleep in my bedroom (including on the bed!) if that is where they feel most secure. • Secure Play: We have a fenced-in yard for secure potty breaks. • Enriching Outings: We are conveniently located near a beautiful greenbelt and the bay for enriching daily adventures and scenic walks. Safety & Compatibility: • Supervision: I currently have one energetic dog of my own and can accommodate up to three guest dogs at a time. I prefer guests 30lbs or under, though I am open to larger, well-behaved dogs. • Crating Policy: For safety and peace of mind, crate training is highly recommended. However, I only use crating when absolutely necessary (never more than four hours during the day) and at night when I have more than one overnight guest. • Requirements: Visiting pets must be house-trained, socialized, and not excessive barkers. I require current vaccination history, flea/tick prevention details, and emergency contact information prior to booking to ensure a safe environment for all.

A typical day begins with a peaceful morning in my fenced-in yard, followed by a nutritious breakfast and light indoor play. Because I am retired and home all day, your pet enjoys consistent companionship and a balanced routine of exercise, rest, and plenty of "human time." Daily Adventures & Relaxation: • Tailored Outings: Our main walks happen in the late morning or afternoon. Whether it’s an energetic stroll along the bay, a gentle walk through the local greenbelt, or a fun trip to the local dog park, I tailor activity levels to your dog's specific needs and social preferences. • Personalized Care: Every pet receives individual love, from cozy cuddle sessions on the furniture to quiet downtime when they need it. Evening & Sleeping Arrangements: As the day winds down, we transition into a quiet period of lounging together. To ensure a safe and restful night, I evaluate each guest's needs and current group dynamics to decide where they will be most comfortable: • In bed with me: (Limit of one guest dog, as my own dog also sleeps with me). • In a dog bed within my bedroom. • In a crate within the dedicated dog room (recommended for safety/peace of mind).
