Pet care experience
my cats family
I have two adorable cats back in hometown, who have accompany me for more than 5 years. I know them very well and treat them like family, providing fresh cat food made by myself, dietary supplement, clean live water and constant fur brush. While in United State, I feel lonely without pets around. Really miss the days with fluffy adorable animals by my side.

Yahui was very prompt in responses and communicated throughout the visit. Very caring, I will definitely use her again!

She was amazing with my dog and very accommodating to our needs, I would totally recommend her if you want to have peace of mind when it comes to caring for your pet 10/10!

Yahui was absolutely wonderful with Akira during her day of care. She kept Akira active with plenty of walks and running time, and Akira lit up the moment she saw her. Yahui is truly one of the friendliest and kindest sitters we’ve met on Rover. She even surprised my wife with thoughtful wellness gifts, which meant so much to our family. We’re genuinely grateful for the care and attention she gave Akira.

Ok, so I've been using Rover for a few years now. Yahui is our 3rd dog sitter person. I've been happy with all of them. The 2nd guy, we used for years, but maybe he moved, because he's inactive now. But ... Yahui is by far my favorite. Hard to explain, but she has a real understanding/empathy towards our dog. In our family, I am low man on the totem pole, for our dog's preference. Even though I give her the most people food, and that I was the guy who actually adopted her. But she's a female dog, so she gravitates to my daughter and wife over my son and me. 😁 I was honestly a little afraid that after having spent a week with Yahui, that she might not want to come home with me. *That's* how highly I think of Yahui as a petsitter. She is fantastic, and we'll definitely use her again. 👍👍👍

This is my first time using Rover. Yahui did a fantastic job. She is very responsive and keeps sharing photos and videos with us. I am very satisfied with this experience!

Schedule
For most of the time, I work from home and can attend to pet's need frequently, such as walking the dog twice or more per day, clean cat's poo ASAP. I enjoy interaction with pets from time and time, and brush their fur.

- To ensure the absolute best care and a seamless experience, it is incredibly helpful to gather a few key details about a pet before the first booking or meet-and-greet. Here is a checklist of the most important things to know ahead of time, which you can use to interview owners or add to your profile questionnaire: 1. Health & Medical Needs Medications: Are they taking any medications? If so, what is the exact dosage, schedule, and preferred method of administration (e.g., hidden in a treat, mixed with food)? Allergies & Sensitivities: Do they have any food allergies, skin sensitivities, or dietary restrictions? 2. Behavioral Traits & Triggers Reactivity & Triggers: How do they react to other dogs, cats, strangers, children, or loud noises (like thunder or garbage trucks)? Leash Behavior: Does the dog pull, chase squirrels, or get defensive on a leash? What collar or harness system do they use? Separation Anxiety: How do they behave when left alone? Do they have any destructive habits or tend to bark/meow excessively when the owner leaves? 3. Daily Routines & Habits Feeding Schedule: What are the exact portion sizes and feeding times? Are treats allowed, and if so, how many? Bathroom Routine: How frequently do they need potty breaks? If it's a cat, how often is the litter box typically scooped, and where is it located? Sleeping Arrangements: Where does the pet sleep at night (e.g., in a crate, on their own bed, or on the human bed)? 4. House Rules & Safety Off-Limit Areas: Are there specific rooms, couches, or areas of the house the pet is not allowed to access? Flight Risks: Is the pet a "door-darter" or prone to trying to escape when a door opens? Command Vocabulary: What specific words or hand signals do they use for basic commands (e.g., "Sit," "Stay," "Leave it," or "No")?
