The majority of pets I meet warm up to me right away. For pets that need more time adjusting to me, I am patient with them. I'll let them sniff me, and give them space if they need it. They naturally warm up to me within a day. In addition to making sure food, water, and potty breaks are taken care of, I will be giving your pets playtime and affection, while keeping your home safe and tidy.

I typically schedule a complimentary phone call and/or meet-n-greet with pet owners and their pets so that we can get to know each other and answer questions. After we have officially booked, I will request a document that details your pet's care instructions and daily schedule so that I can provide them the best care.
A typical day
I adapt to every pets' personality and needs. For new pets that need time getting used to me, I will give them space while providing affection and opportunities to bond. For pets that are high-energy, I love going on walks, playing catch, and helping them (and myself) stay in shape! At home, we'll play games, cuddle, and relax before bedtime.

Nice to meet you, I'm Stephanie and I love animals! I've had pets all my life; I currently have an old cat named Minnie whom I've had since 2005. I began petsitting on Rover in late 2024 because I love caring for pets and meeting fellow pet parents. I live in Santa Clara so if you are looking for an experienced and trusted petsitter in the South Bay, message me! 🤗 ✨ PET CARE ✨ I accept all kinds of pets (ex: birds, snakes, hamsters, etc). The majority of my clients have dogs and cats so that's what I will focus on: For 🐶: I offer dog walking (I love to get exercise so I am always happy to walk your pup) up to 3 times a day. I am comfortable with puppies, large dogs, and dogs that tug at the leash. While I've never had a dog myself, my fiancé has dogs (maltipoos). For 😺: Fellow cat parent here! I've had cats all my life and I love them so much! I have experience administering medication to cats (orally & IV). ✨ MY SERVICES ✨ Currently I offer Housesitting, Drop-in Visits, and Dogwalking services. I am NOT able to offer Boarding in my own home. I offer new clients 1 complimentary meet-n-greet (disclaimer as of March 2026: due to the global gas crisis, I must be mindful of the amount I drive. I will do my best to accommodate a meet n greet only if I can make the logistics work. Another option is a video call). During our meet-n-greet we'd go over your pets' care instructions, a tour of your home, and make sure that we're both a good fit. I also ask my clients to type up care instructions and emergency contacts so that I can give your pets the optimal care. 👩💻 I work remotely and have the flexibility to housesit and petsit during the week. I have a 22-year old cat and am very comfortable with cats. 🏡 Housesitting 🏡 Most of my bookings are Housesitting requests and I often receive questions from first-time Rover users about what my housesitting services entail. I would be staying over at your house during the day and night to watch over your pets and provide all care necessary (including food, water, litter box, walking, playtime, medicine if applicable, etc). I will keep your home safe, organized, and tidy. I respect all house rules and clean up after myself. Reviews
This is our first time using Rover and having someone we don't know watch our fur babies - we were very anxious. We read Stephanie's five star reviews and decided to go with her. She is excellent - very responsive, arrived on time, followed the instructions, and kept us informed on how our yorkies were doing. Should we need someone to watch our fur babies again, we will definitely contact her.
Stephanie took care of our energetic German Shepherd Husky mix two times now while we were traveling. She is great with our large dog and clearly has lots of experience handling dogs. Our dog immediately enjoyed being with her and it was easy to tell that he was having a great time. She is very responsive, punctual and easy to communicate with. During our trips she provided frequent updates. She was very respectful of our place while staying here and left the house in perfect condition. We already booked with her again for our next trip and can absolutely recommend her as a dog sitter.
Stephanie is wonderful and took such great care of our puppy, Mango. She really helped us enjoy our day in the city and was incredibly patient with our pup. She’s very sweet, responsible, and even took the time to come meet and greet us beforehand, which we really appreciated. We felt completely at ease knowing Mango was in such good hands. Highly recommend her!
